Lumia 720 lock button and volume up button not wor...

HI ,
MY lumia 720 has gone useless. The volume up button stopped working some 4 months before, and God's grace the new 8.1 update helped, even though the button doesnt work now. From 2 weeks the lock button has also stopped working and now its completely stuck. Now calls keep coming, but unable to answer anything or make it silent, as it is stuck and cant even do anything. I will never recommend any one a Nokia phone in future.
Please some one suggest me a way to restart my phone with out using lock key.
P.S: Nokia:: please restart manufacturing nokia 1100, as it is far better than a useless smart phone.

This sounds like screen curtain may be enabled. Screen curtain is a feature that allows display privacy. To disable screen curtain while VoiceOver is enabled, you can three finger triple tap the screen to disable this feature. You may need to press the home button once in order to process these steps. Are you still experiencing the issue? Have you tried visiting a Nokia Care Point and have your phone checked by the technicians? This can help us prevent further damage on it & immediate action needed be taken. You may need to make a trip to an Apple Store or other authorized place to have it repaired, assuming it's a hardware issue. If it's a software issue, you can try going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This will force the iPod to reboot and restore it to factory settings, but you will be able to get your data back from a backup. If it is a hardware issue, then it's time for a trip to the store.

When I go to settings and look at the WiFi button it won't even let me touch it and it says "No WiFi" even when there is. I would first try resetting your iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be restoring it from backup via iTunes in your computer.

Camera Unlock Button and Volume Rocker Unresponsiv...

I have experienced multiple issues with the Lumia 900 Camera Button and Volume Rocker.
The Camera button should unlock the phone when held down but is often unresponsive even after the update. If you can't unlock the phone from the camera button it pretty much defeats the purpose of having a dedicated camera button. I made sure that the "Prevent Accidental Camera Unlock" feature was turned off and still had issues.
The volume rocker is also often unresponsive when the phone is locked. This causes the user to have to unlock the phone to adjust the volume while listening to music or podcasts which is very annoying.
Nokia, please fix these bugs and end the Smartphone Beta Test.

I'm having the exact same issue. I have also confirmed that the demo units on display at the ATT stores suffer from this problem as well. In addition the ATT rep helping me could also reproduce this intermittent problem with her camera button.
Hopefully this gets addressed. My Samsung Focus was very reliable in this regard.

For no apparent reason, the on/off button and volume buttons stopped working. iPod touch 4th gen with 4.3.3 installed.

You can try a couple of things.
First a hard reboot: hold the sleep/wake and home button down until the unit shuts off and boots back up to the Apple screen.
Second restore the device py plugging it into iTunes and under the device summary screen click restore. You want to restore from backup to make sure all your info is synced back to the iPod at the end. Depending on how much stuff is on there this can take a while.
Thrid, take it to the Apple Store and have a Genius look at it. Depending you how bussy your local Apple store is you probably want to make a reservation first.

if still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
You can also turn on Assistive Touch in Settings>General>Accessibility to add those buttons to the iPods screen.

Try restarting your device. If that doesn't work, take it to an Apple store. If it is less than a year old and just stopped working, they will replace it for free (be sure to back it up to iTunes first). If you dropped it, you will have to pay because Apple will not replace a device due to "Human Error." If it is more than a year old, you will either have to pay to get it fixed, or have to pay to get it replaced.
