Lumia 720 lock button issue

my lumia 720 lock button doesn't respond all time .. it responds in sometimes and sometimes not !!! i dont know wheres the problem is ..

Are you still experiencing the issue? Have you tried visiting a Nokia Care Point and have your phone checked by the technicians? This can help us prevent further damage on it & immediate action needed be taken. However, having said that your phone has been updated to the Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developer software, your warranty has been voided and charges may apply. Lumia 720 lock button and volume up button not wor...

HI ,
MY lumia 720 has gone useless. The volume up button stopped working some 4 months before, and God's grace the new 8.1 update helped, even though the button doesnt work now. From 2 weeks the lock button has also stopped working and now its completely stuck. Now calls keep coming, but unable to answer anything or make it silent, as it is stuck and cant even do anything. I will never recommend any one a Nokia phone in future.
Please some one suggest me a way to restart my phone with out using lock key.
P.S: Nokia:: please restart manufacturing nokia 1100, as it is far better than a useless smart phone.

Ad mediator casuing lock button issues?

Hi everyone, i have developed a universal app for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1. I have used the ad mediator in the Phone package. Today after my app was certified i discovered an issue, running the app then quitting it will cause the lock button to
not lock the screen again but you can still shut down the phone, also if the screen is locked the you cant unlock it wilth the button or by double tapping, the only way to solve this is by soft-reset. I was able to reproduce it on a Lumia 925 and 520 however
i after a couple of times i failed to reproduce it again. This issue is very similar to the official chive app issue:

My app doesnt display any videos or GIF files, so it is not using any function to keep the screen on like the chive app did.
Both apps (the chive and my app) are universal and both are supported by ads, however i am not sure about what ad control they used.
So my question is: Is this a general bug/issue in XAML universal apps? Is it a bug in the ad mediator? or is it the combination or universal apps and ads that is causing this issue?
Also did you encounter such issue? if so how did you solve it?

Lock button issue

Recently I have been having trouble with my lock button, at random times I find it really difficult to lock my iphone- I have done a quick search on google and noticed this isn't a unique problem.

Just quickly pointing out that you said "It is NOT a hardware issue", yet, you post this under "iPhone Hardware". Nice!
Check for any and all debrie that could cause such a thing to happen. Other than that, best bet is to backup via iTunes AND iCloud, then do a full restore via iTunes.

Nokia Lumia 720 capacitive button light leak

I just bought Nokia Lumia 720 a week ago and i discovered the capacitive button has light leaked to the display above.
The display is so beautiful and i like it but the light leak is annoying especially when the display is showing dark colour.
Anyone has this problem?

Its a minimal light leak wouldn't bother me tbh,however you can return the device to point of purchase for replacement,dont forget your receipt.

Today I updated the OS on my phone and now the lock button on my Lumia 520 isn't working. I'm on OS version 8.0.10328.78. I've performed soft and hard resets and my Display+Touch settings are up to date. Is there anything else I can do before mailing my phone to a Nokia Care Center?

Lumia 720 touchscreen intermittent issue

Hi frnd, i bought new nokia lumia 720 i have one problem now. That touch screen working but that screens bottom is not working. I mean start bottons little bit of up, end of the screen side only not working but sometimes its working. What can i do? How to i salve that problem. Plz anyone help me....

Hi, sayedbrindha. Thanks for posting. When did it start? Can you see any pattern when the capacitive buttons work or do not work? Does this only happen when performing a particular task on the phone or when using an app? If you haven't tried any troubleshooting steps, you can start with rebooting it by pressing and holding the volume down and the power keys simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds. Make sure that your Lumia 720's software is up-to-date: http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/. Keep us posted.

Lumia 720 Physical Button Haptic Feedback Problem

Sometimes the haptic feedback for the physical button does not work. Also sometimes the backlight of physical button do not light up when I start using the phone. Whats wrong with my Lumia 720 ?

Caps lock button issue (Mac book pro)

When i'm typing quick and need to type a letter in upper case at te same speed, it's not possible due the fact that even if i press the caps lock button, it does not work.
I've seen that many people has this issue, but i haven't seen any solution.
Could you please give me a solution if it exist.

I have not heard of this problem, and have been here for a while. I have three MacBook Airs (2012, 2011, 2010). All running Mountain Lion.
I rarely use caps lock, but use "shift'.
Please elaborate.

3rd gen iPod touch lock button issues

Recently my 3rd gen iPod touch started giving me problems with the lock button. If I press the lock button the screen will turn on and off rapidly and then the power off screen will come up. It will just keep doing this over and over; I've tried to restore it but no luck there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the switch needs to be replaced. You might try this until you get it serviced.

Inconsistent lock button issues?

Has anyone had any problems with their lock button being inconsistent? I've found that I needed to press the lock down multiple times before I can get the screen to lock. I do have the 6.0.2 update if that means anything.

HT4061 Lock Button Issues

My lock button has been stuck so i use the assistive touch. But this afternoon, my iPhone4 shut off randomly. I tried plugging it into the wall charger and my computer but its not turning back on. The screen appears to be the charger with an arrow to itunes. HELP!

Lumia 620 lock button not working

Hi there, new to posting,
had my 620 about 6 months now (2nd hand) and recently the middle button on the side to lock has got less and less responsive. Even if i take the back cover off and expose the buttons themselves i still have to hold down the screen down quite hard and press to lock, the other buttons on the side still respond perfectly. Is this a problem that can be repaired in a shop or Nokia centre?

Lumia 720 lock key sensitivity

At a sudden yesterday night at around 9:30PM, my phone started behaving really weird. I dont when and how my lock key (middle one on the right side) became more sensitive. Whenever i was touching key it was getting auto lock and restart by itself. Please help me with this kind of weird situation. After this I am currently using lockdown app to lock the phone.

Lock button issue after update

So I updated my iPhone 5 to the 7.0.2 update this past Sunday and now my lock botton is not responding when I press it. I have to hit it a few times to get it to respond now.
It is NOT a hardware issue since I did not have that issue since ownership. It only started with this issue after I did the update to the 7.0.2 software. 7.0 it was completely fine. (It was an OTA update from 7.0 to 7.0.2)
I have not done the, "erase settings and reset" yet so everything can be reinstalled. But I am wondering if anyone has come across this issue and found a solution without doing the factory reset.
