1. Ive downladed lots of documents also video but I cant find it anywhere in my phone. So i cant move those to my pc.

hi mate, have you ensured you are fully up to date with the latest firmware for your device, along with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset, and check that your microSIM is cut correctly.

DVI to TV problem. I need some help please

OK, Im running a MAcbook pro latest OSX all updates etc... In the past i have been able to plug in the adapter to the DVI and run on end of an RCA cable out of it to the RCA video in on any tv. I would normally just hit f7 and the display would be seen on the tv. The problem is now I can get a picture on the tv what so ever. I have tried the detect display feature and no luck. I have tried multiple tvs and cables..no luck....
No when i connect to an external computer monitor using the other DVI adapter everything is fine on the external monitor.
I believe the problem started when I hooked up the external computer monitor. It seems some setting has changed that will only recognize the the computer monitor.
I don't think its the DVI to to tv adapter having a problem as it's newer..never been abused or anything like that... Im very confused and frustrated any help would be appreciated

}Ok. I figured out how to display the odd numbers squared. I was forgetting to place the else after the if statement. But I still don't understand what my teacher could be talking about when she says "the last step is to output all the uppercase letters"
Any help here? It makes no sense to me. It's all numbers. How could I output any uppercase letters?

Same as others DCC problem. Alarms goes off.
It shows SYSTEM 2 at 957 RPM, red and blinking. WhAT'S A SYSTEM 2 means? Fan?
FSB red, but not blinking, i think 500MHZ?
What are those thing? I really know nothing about them and how do i solve the problem?
Chipset fan is a.ka. CPU fan?

Problem with store app, lumia 720

hi
i bought lumia 720 few weeks ago, and because i can't download apps from the windows store directly (cuz i'm from syria), i have to download them to the laptop then move them to the SD card, and later open the .XAP files from the store app.
the problem is that THE STORE APP ISN'T WORKIING, it keeps saying "service unavailiable right now. Check back in a little while".
so now i can't download any thing on my lumia and this sucks

last night I slept with my Lumia 720battery life remaining upto 52 percent .when next morning I woke up ifound that only 5% battery is remaning.how is that possible.i am in big worry,what has happento my Lumia 720 .

Lumia 720 battery problem

I have been using my lumia 720 for almost a month now...
right now i am experiencing sudden loss of battery charge retention
Except my 2G connection all other network services are disabled(i have turned off location services, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G Data Connection, no back ground applicatons either).
To test i fully discharged my lumia then charged to 100%
The "Battery Saver" in "Settings read" - Remaining battery life : 100%
Estimated Time remaining : 1 day 18 hours(Then i made a couple of calls(not more than 1 minute)
Then Remaining battery life : 97%
if i play music it drops to 50% in less than couple of hours
Are any of you experiencing this??

@Libbra - are you on 3G or WiFi? both the wireless connection options will consume more power.
Try this out, charge your Lumia 720 overnight. Unplug in the morning, and find out if there is any change in your battery charge retention.
i had tried out the above and battery charge retention improved. it lasted 4 days with occassional browsing over WiFi, some calls over 2G and occassional Nokia Maps Navigation. it didnt die on 4th day but i charged it up anyway.
The problem i reported earlier still prevails. if i remove the battery charging once it reaches 100% the charge retention is not good.

Volume problem in lumia 720

Got my 720 about a month back. Every thing looks and feels fine, but recently a problem is just irritating me.
If I select a song from albums in music +videos the volume is not changing, its struck on the volume you opened the song and if I go back increase to some number and again play it the song plays at the volume you changed, but during the song the volume is not at all changing. The volume number changes but not the sound.
If anybody found it on your phones and got rectified please help me fix it. Thanks in advance.

I bought lumia 720 abut 2 weeks ago, the volume function was working fine then. i have been facing the same problem since i started listening to music in 'NOKIA MIX RADIO' as now the music store is updated to this. i had downloaded all my songs from the store, but the volume function is not working while the song is running, i have to change the song to change the volume. and the problem is coming in all the songs except a few in which the volume is functioning. the audio settings (dolby effect and audio leveling) are not solving the issue.
i have noticed one thing that the problem is not coming if i play my downloaded songs from 'my music' option in 'nokia mix radio', but it is coming when i play them from 'music and videos'.

i bought my new lumia 720 on 5/7/13 ....i created nokia accounts ... where i could download musics from nokia music ... due to some problem i reset my phone and created new nokia account... i wasnt able to download musics... by mistake i had terminated the first nokia account .... how can i regain the first nokia account and how can i regain my nokia unlimited downloads .... please help me out!!!! its only been a month for today i bought my lumia 720!! :/:/

If you actually cancelled the original Nokia Account you lost everything associated with it. This is very clearly stated when you perform this action. The only place where you maybe will be able to find any help is with Nokia Care but to my knowledge once the account is discontinued all data that was linked to it is removed as well.

Lumia 720 Screen problem

My Nokia Lumia 720 has been behaving strangely for a few weeks now. I can turn on the phone but then when I try to enter my PIN number the screen will not allow me to. The screen jumps around erratically. I've tried doing a soft reboot & a hard reboot with no real success. I've done some research on the internet look on Nokia forums to find a solution and I've come to learn that other people are experiencing the exact same problem. Last week I had an accident with my phone, it fell out of my hand and cracked the screen. It was a very small crack on the corner of the screen (the black part of the screen) The phone still works apart from the issue I had before the phone fell. I've just gotten back from a Nokia Care Centre in Bellville, Cape Town called Cellectro. The technician of the store had a look at the phone and suggested i have the phone's screen replaced at a cost of R1900 (One Thousand Nine Hundred Rand) before he can check if the phone's hardware is faulty....That don't make much sense to me because I had the problem before the phone fell. Please advise what I can do to fix the problem.

Had the exact same problem with my Lumia 720 screen — the tiniest conceivable crack in the corner, and terrible screen jitters predating that. Went to Nokia Care and they told me the same thing they told you: broken, therefore out of warranty. And they quoted a fantastic price for part replacement. They wanted to replace the LCD and the digitiser. What I've been told to try, and I will just now at an independent repair shop (regardless of whether it voids the warranty, of which there's four months left), is to replace just the digitiser, because the LCD itself appears to work fine. This is much cheaper. Will tell you if that works — but in the meantime, what did you do with your 720 ultimately, and did it work?

Lumia 720 pixel row problem and warranty

I have a 6 month Lumia 720 that has developed a problem in which a complete vertical row of pixels doesn't work in blue, green, yelloow, and other background colors.
I took it for warranty and they told me that they must exchange it for a new unit but they don't have 720's in stock.
THEY WANT TO GIVE ME SOMETHING LOWER THAN EVEN A LUMIA 630, I consider that totally unfair, given that even the 630 is a total downgrade.
How can that be possible? What can I do?

Nokia Lumia 720 internet sharing DNS problem

Hi,
I am using Nokia Lumia 720 (OS version 8.0.10517.150) for internet sharing and have had DNS issues lately. When connecting to hotspot with my laptop I get DNS server is not responding error. Phone has data connection and I can browse the internet through phone but cant use it to share the data connection. When I connect my laptop with other wifis it works fine also so the fault must be in Lumias hotspot generation.
Had the same problem few weeks ago but then restarting the device and changing hotspot settings helped but it does not do the job right now.
Any ideas?

Have you tried using your micro-SIM card with other internet sharing capable phones to verify it the issue is network or device related? Aside from your laptop, have you tried sharing your Lumia 720's internet connection with other phones?
Here are some tips that might help you resolve the issue:
1. If enabled, switch Battery saver mode off: Tap Settings > battery saver > Off. You can also just connect the phone to the charger.
2. Check the signal strength on the phone screen. To increase the signal strength, move around or move towards a window if you are inside a building.
3. Keep your phone in the idle mode. Incoming or outgoing call will interrupt the data transfer until the call ends.
4. Check the cellular data indicator (E, 2G, 3G, H+, 4G) at the left side of the phone's screen. Change the mobile network's highest connection speed from 3G/4G to 2G and back again to make sure that your phone is connecting to the network correctly. Go to Settings > mobile network (or mobile + SIM or cellular or cellular + SIM).
5. Make sure that the internet sharing security type (if not selectable, WPA2 is used) and password settings match between the connecting device and your phone (Settings > internet sharing).
6. Make sure that the operator mobile data plan subscription allows Wi-Fi tethering and your network operator has enabled internet sharing on the phone.
7. If possible, try to create a connection with some other device or force the connecting device Wi-Fi adapter to use 802.11g standard - disable 802.11n mode. On a Windows PC, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet >Network Connections, and right click your active Wireless Network Connection and open Properties >Configure > Advanced, then select 802.11n and set value to Disabled. Once ready, press OK.
8. Connect again, as internet sharing switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Lumia 720 volume down key problem

There is some problem with the volume down key in Lumia 720.....it works sometimes.....n sometimes it does not work at all!!...
i took it to Nokia Care yesterday....they did something and returned my phone in about 15-20 mins....it was working fine then....but now the problem has started again!!!
now what do I do????

My problem was solved when I took my Lumia to the care center again........they said they changed the volume rocker......whatever they did it helped.........no more problem now...
