Lumia 720 volume down button not working

Hey buddies, I'm using lumia 720 and often i get this volume down button not working.
I changed the button by giving it in nokia care for 3times and still im facing the same problem.
And also noticed that this is happening to most of the lumia 720's.
so kindly look into it and rectify the problem as soon as possible.
If there is any solution for this, kindly reply me.

Your only solution would be to return the unit back to nokia care for inspection,if there is a recurring issue with this im sure nokia would be aware of it now,and it could be a slight manufacturing defect which again would be looked into.

basically it seems that the f11 button is dead cause i can't make shortcut to this button anymore..
i had the maverick osx and i install some vst for ableton before that happend but i make format the disk and clean install the osx lion and it doesn't fix the problem.. any help ??

Very simple take it to an Apple Store or AASP and have it professionally diagnosed. Anything else would be guessing. Do NOT spend a penny on it until it is professionaly diagnosed otherwise you stand and excellent chance of throwing good money after bad.

Volume down button stopped working Acer Liquid E700

Dear reader, I have an Acer Liquid E700 for about 3 months now. Suddenly the volume down button stopped working. I didn't do anything strange with the phone, but I think the problem started to appear right after I detached/attached the back case (but I don't think anything went wrong there). The volume down button is neither working for the volume, nor the screenshot option. I have the latest system update on the phone and the rest of the phones buttons work fine. Lumia 720 volume down key

Recently the volume down key on my lumia 720 has stopped working. It works sometimes if I restart my phone but again stops after a while. I am also unable to soft reset the phone because the volume down key is not working. It does not seem like a hardware issue because it works sometimes. Please guide what can be done for this.

If its a hardware problem then you will need to have it checked out at your local Nokia Care Point.

Os- WindowsPhone 8.1 cyan
My phone's camera is not working properly.
Sometime the camera closes automatically.
And some pink lines appear in the screen.
Sometime camera don't open when press the camera key or click camera app.(it just opens and closes)

Hi. After updating the device to Lumia Cyan, did you also update the system apps? If not yet, please scan the QR codes found on the below link:

Aside from the built-in camera, are you also experiencing the issue with the other lens apps? Also, please confirm. Did this issue arise after updating the device to Lumia Cyan?
If you have updated the system apps and the issue is still present, try resetting the camera settings of the device. Go to Settings > applications > photos+camera > reset camera.
If you have identified that the issue also happens with other lens apps, try pressing and holding both the volume down and the power keys for 10-15 seconds. The phone will vibrate. It will restart afterwards.

Lumia 720 volume down key problem

There is some problem with the volume down key in Lumia 720.....it works sometimes.....n sometimes it does not work at all!!...
i took it to Nokia Care yesterday....they did something and returned my phone in about 15-20 mins....it was working fine then....but now the problem has started again!!!
now what do I do????

My problem was solved when I took my Lumia to the care center again........they said they changed the volume rocker......whatever they did it helped.........no more problem now...

Apple Earpod volume down control not working

The play/pause button works great as well as the volume up, however the control doesn't respond when I press the volume down. The earpod has not been exposed to any water or the sort. Why is this happening?

Animated drop down buttons not working in movie clip

I have two types of drop down menu. One under Commercial and one under Technical
The buttons are movie clips. The drop downs are also movie clips that start in frame 2 and are triggered on rollover.
The child buttons are buttons living on the drop down movie clips. They are set to getURL
As you see they are not willing to neither link to any url or will they run their move clip animation. One is a button and one is a movie clip.
The left movie clip has a mask, but it makes no difference if I remove the mask . It also has a emboss filter and no difference is I take that away either.
All of it is in one flash movie right now, but I will be splitting it up in a master navigation movie and individual swf's soon.
Right now I have the main movie, then the button MC then the dropdown MC and in the drop down MC I have placed either a animated (button) MC or a button. So it nested in nested in.......
In both cases I scripting the child buttons like this:
on (rollOver) {
gotoAndPlay(2);
on (rollOut) {
gotoAndPlay(6);
on (release) {
getURL("http://steamandclean.com");
I have also tried to use
_parent.getURL and _root.getURL in stead of just get URL, but it does not work.
The drop down buttons seem to be buried. In the left side the whole drop down panel seems to act like a link?
What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your reply again.
I figured it out.
Your reply prompted me to have my main button on rollover to go to a frame number on the main time line and then move the content of the drop down movie clip to that frame.
The drop down panel now work and the child buttons animation now work as well. I just had to find a way to make the drop down panel disappear on rollout. Since I could not script the actual drop down panel I created three skinny invisible buttons and placed them on the right, left and button of the drop down panel. I scripted them to go back to frame 1 on both rollover and rollout. Done.

Holding Down Buttons Not Working

In the past few days, I've noticed that hodling down buttons does not do anything. I can't scroll lists, I can't hold down the menu button to get back to Home, nothing. I've restarted twice today. I've checked this with a Harmony and with two Apple remotes. I've tried it paired and unpaired. Any ideas? Thanks.

Another piece to the puzzle, solving it 100%. While messing with the repeater, I noticed the receiving sensor (that blinks when receiving a signal) was glowing slightly. It's never done that before. I easily found on the makers website that this is a feature built in to show when you are receiving interference. Two weeks ago I got a new TV. I knew TVs could create interference but I figured my placement was working well because it worked for all my gear, except obviously this one function. I reconnected the sensor to the Apple TV, then moved the receiving sensor around until the dull light went off completely. This solved the problem. Everything is back to normal. Still... very weird. I'm so happy with the IR repeater though and now the company for its great documentation, that I'll give out the name. Hot Link Pro (www.hot-link.com) - I bought mine a couple years ago from Amazon.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like a key on the MacBook is not working. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Volume control buttons not working with new usb keyboard

Hi all,
I recently replaced the bluetooth keyboard that came with my iMac with the usb keyboard (the long aluminium one, with the number block). Typing is no problem, but the volume control keys dont seem to work with this keyboard as I was used to with the bluetooth keyboard: max vol, increase/decrease and vol. off dont operate with any of the keys (f, alt, str, cmd, shift). Only thing I can do is get a view of the running programs or make the current application vanish from the screen.
Tried to change the keyboard setting in preferences for the F1-12 keys - made no change.

I was able to fix this bug by upgrading to OS X 10.6.8.
Very strange that a) it was a problem in the first place and b) that the upgrade did not happen automatically
