Lumia 800 Cannot Download a single App from Market...

Hello,
I've just bought a Lumia 800 on July 20, 2012 from a retailer in the Philippines and am using it in the same.
I downloaded Zune for Windows 7 on my dual boot mac. I downloaded all updates till Zune said there was no more available on the Windows 7 partition. It succesfully installed. I am up to date according to the latest firmware as noted on Nokia firmware and MS OS as of today.
I have not been able to download a single app since I got the phone. I use the marketplace app on the phone and have also tried "pushing" the app from the marketplace on Firefox/Chrome on my Mac and PC.
The phone goes to marketplace downloads, says "Pending" starts to says "Downloading 0%" till it says "Tap here" then I have to retry download. Been trying this all night, and have been reseting the phone by holding the button below the volume control till the phone says "Goodbye" then I boot it up and the same still happens.
I've also tried a hard reset, formatting to factory settings. That did not let me download a single app either. Since I needed the phone, I restored my data. I have been using a wifi connection with broadband at home. I can surf IE on the phone, check mail, but the marketplace has always been off for the few days I've owned the darn thing. I can open the marketplace app, I can see apps, I can browse them, and I can click install, reinstall (for some reason Windows Live thinks its already installed).  
Am I missing something? I tried cancelling all other downloads except Whatsapp and still no dice. I've cancelled all downloads, restarted and tried again and to this day, I have an app phone that can't get apps from it's own marketplace.
I tried setting my windows live ID to jive with my region and language, all the same, US or Philippine english, nothing.
I've tried writing emails to Nokia Philippines support and after typing all this they just told me to 1. open marketplace app, 2. Click Download (Arrgghhhh talk about canned STUPID RESPONSES, the guy obviously did not read my email that I did the same.)

Hi kosh, Yes I have done a hard reset even at the risk of losing all my contacts. I've also tried creating a new live ID to sign in after the hard reset was made. Sadly such did not work so I eventually just restored my contacts. I find it disappointing that groups does not sync so if ever I do need to change live IDs I'll have to remake all the groups again. Such is the loss of a loyal Nokia customer who has to pay for Symbian going and ms entering. I find it odd that I would even have to create a new live account as the one already designated as the primary account attached to the phone was created upon first boot of the phone. But I guess there's no loss trying one more time since accounts are free. I'll have to do it some other time as I am currently mobile and had to leave the phone cause the total lack of apps has rendered it insufficient for my needs. I will update the forum once Nokia and/or Microsoft contacts me. Really hoping they just replace the darn thing since I bought the phone open line out of carrier making this feel more of a waste, and I wouldn't want a phone like this sent for repair this fresh or given a refurb.

    It's not Apple's choice, they can only sell content where the content providers grant them licenses to sell it, so if the record company hasn't granted Apple a license to sell that song in South Africa then Apple can't sell it there. You can try requesting that it be added, but it won't be able to happen without the record company's agreement : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
    You can also only buy content from your own country's store, you won't be able to buy it from the US store unless you are in the US with a US billing address on your account.

    I had a problem way back in the olden days, i.e., FCPX 10.0.2, and finally gave up and called the Apple Store using a land-line phone.
    Anyway, (this was a couple years ago), if I remember right, they passed me off to someone in the FCPX group and I got the App. However, this was not a really goo way to go because for many updates afterward, everytime I wanted to update I had to go thorugh the same ritual.
    Finally, probably around 10.0.8, things got "fixed" and since then I've been able to go direct and download it from the App Store without having to make a phone call.
    My suggestion would be to try calling the App Store. Maybe, if there is a "global problem" and they get a lot of calls, they will fix it.
    Heck, maybe write a Knowlede Base (KB) article about it.

    I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
    When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
    "This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
    So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
    I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
    Can anyone help me please?

    Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
    If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

    Hello, I have downloaded the 'Download Multiple Documents App' from Solutions2Share and installed it on several existing site collections on my SharePoint online office 365 tenant. It works without any problems on all sites on all site collections apart
    from one....which is typically the site I need it to work most on.
    When I try to download multiple documents from a document library from this site I get directed to the download multiple documents page and I see the app trying to download the documents but then get message ''Could not retrieve list:Forbidden''
    This happens with every document library on the site. What is strange , when I do this on a document library on the top level site of the same site collection, i.e the default site that is created when creating a site collection - it works fine.
    I've gone through all the site settings and site features and cannot see what would be causing this! I am the Site Administrator and am in the Site Owner/Members permissions groups for this site. Tried it with different browser too.

    This is a common issue with second hand Macs. The iLife apps came bundled free on this Mac and they are registered to your dad's Apple ID. The only way for you to acept them into your Apple ID is for you and your dad to contact Apple Care, explain that he has passed the Mac to you and ask that the iLife apps be released from your dad's Apple ID so that you may accept them into your Apple ID.

Unfortunately, when I tried to download Adobe Reader app, it only works for the newer IPod Touch 5th Generation with an operating system of iOS 7.0 or higher. My question is that since I cannot download Adobe Reader app, is there a way for me to open PDF files on my IPod Touch by using Safari? There is no way I can find an Adobe Reader app that works for my operating system or an operating system that works for iOS 6.0 or lower. Is there another program similar to Adobe Reader where I can open PDF files that works for iOS 6.0 or lower?

    Please note that my instructions are intended for Adobe Reader for iOS, not for all iOS apps in general.
    Adobe Reader for iOS does offer earlier compatible versions for iOS 5 and 6 via the App Store.  Because the supported iOS version for Adobe Reader for iOS is 5 or later.

    However, I cannot speak for other apps, such as Costco app and NFL app that you have mentioned.  It is up to each individual app developer/company to decide whether to take advantage of Apple's App Store's features to offer earlier versions.
    Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X - Apple Support
    If a compatible version isn't available, you can try contacting the app developer. Look for contact information on the app's product page in the App Store or Mac App Store.

    Try resetting the phone. Push both the home and lock button at the same time until it goes off. Keep them pushed until the Apple logo come up...
    Also, try deleting the app and downloading it again.

    If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.
