Lumia 800 Freezes Again

Hi,
My lumia 800 froze again.
On it's exact 2th month I brought my phone to Nokia Care for screen freeze issue, got it back after a week 20th July. I ask the one who handed me as to what fix they have applied, she said they have bring it to head office and changed its motherboard?..For 2 weeks it worked fine as brand new so my frustration was bit lifted.
Saturday last week 5th of August I updated my phone to:
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware: 1750.0805.8773.12220
For a week it worked fine, just today it freezes again. I was listening to MP3 music with headset on while reading mails then a FB message push notification appears so I go over it by tapping on the notification. It directed me to messaging app read the message and replied. I stayed on the app waiting for the reply then BOOM!!..screen freeze.
Before the screen freeze I set my Wifi on gone to Marketplace and download the app updates and been switching between apps.
Before update to 8773 I was on 8107 OS version. With 8107 I am doing above routine with no problem or screen freeze.
Additional details on my phone:
Hardware revision # : 112.1402.2.4
Radio software ver. : 1.7.50.08
Radio hardware ver. : 8225
Bootloader version : 7.41.0.0
Chip SOC ver. : 0.74.2.1

  • Freezed Lumia 800 Tango while listening music

    Hi
Since I updated my lumia 800 to Tango It has freezed 5 times while I am listening to music plugged to 2.1 speakers while it is charging.
    Lumia 800 + charging + 2.1 speakers wired = Annoying to me
I have to press long time the power button, restart it and play again music praying it won't happen again.
    Anyone with the same bug?
    Any solution?

    Hi,
Just don't use your phone while charging!
Mine was not updated yet to Tango so I cannot check or replicate it on my device. By the way my  phone freeze even on 8107 OS version.
Screen freeze when I listen to music(MP3) and let music+videos app run on background and try to read mails for more than 3 mins. Same happens when I suspend or pause music  and tries to read mails.
It's either the native music app eating all the RAM or my phone is a faulty one so I have presented it to Nokia Care with some other major issues.

As updating the software is the most recommended thing to do, can you wait a little bit more, my friend? Microsoft has announced that the 7.8 update will be available early this year (Q1). Read more here: An update on Windows Phone 7.8.

  • Freezing issue with Lumia 800

    Hi,
I bought a new Lumia at the Ambience Mall in Gurgoan 2 days ago and since the time I began using it, it suddenly and randomly freezes with no display and totally unresponsive. There seems to be tactile vibration on pressing the Windows or search buttons, but the phone is also unreachable. The only option is to reboot the phone and this is really irritating as I dont know when it freezes up. I have to keep switching on and checking.
I am told there is a replacement for these phones if any issues happen, even the Nokia care repair shop was unable to help. Now since I am located in Bangalore, is there any other retailer I can have this phone exchanged?

I had the same issue with the screen freezing. I've been reading other threads on this and some say it could be cold weather. I remember I had a Nokia 5800 and the screen would scramble when it was cold out. The only way to fix the screen to use a magnet on a certain part of the screen or heat the phone up with a blow dryer and use the unlock switch. I don't know if it's the same deal with the lumia 800. I remember  rubbing the screen with my thumbs on the screen in opposite directions and pressing the unlock button to try to unlock the screen. That worked a few times.

  • Wipe on Lumia 800 generate recurrent reset

    Hi,
I wrongly did wipe my Lumia 800 (059M359).
From there, everytime I configure my device, and begin to transfer more data to it (like 2, or 3 GB data), it freezes... and when I restart it (just pressing power button), it comes back totally empty (like a hard reset).
Not surprising, I found another guy who has exalt the same problem. The only difference is that he has initiated the wipe on Windowsphone website, and me at OWA website.
I took the device to the Nokia Care Point last Saturday, got it today, where they have updated firmware and OS version. But, again, when I started uploading data to it, it stopped working again, and I lost all my daily configuration.
    What should I do next?
    Thank you,
    Alessandro

    Hi Mineirinh0,
Thanks for your posts and welcome to the forum.
I would like to advise you to return to the Nokia Care point and ask for them to flash your Lumia, not just update the software. This will however wipe it clean and remove all personal data so make sure your have a backup by syncing media files using Zune and your contacts and calendar(s) to their respective accounts.
If you want to contact Nokia directly on this please contact Nokia Care through phone, mail or chat (where available). Contact information for both Nokia Care and a Nokia Care Point can be found using this link. These forums are mainly a user to user support forum, please see the forum guidelines if you have any questions on using the forum.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

  • Nokia Lumia 800. Battery and start up problems

    Hi there,
I have been having quite a lot of problems with my nokia lumia 800.
Firstly: When the battery dies it takes a long time to get it charged back up. I have tried cycling the charger power between the laptop and power outlet. I have to play around with the power supply for a long time before the unit actually starts charging. And even then when it has just enough charge, it tries to start up but seems to run out of power half way through the start up and I end up back playing with the charging again.
It seems that there is no battery protection in the phone and the battery can completely discharge. Which would account for the problem with getting it to charge back up.
Secondly: Yesterday the phone went dead for no reason. It had about a quarter charge in the battery. I tried to turn it back on but nothing. I tried charging it and nothing.
Again after cycling the power many times between the power outlet and the laptop, I got some response. It vibrated and displayed the low battery screen. So I thought ok, it's charging. But no.
Once it has enough battery it tries to start up and then freezes on the provider logo and does not go any further. The screen stays like this. Illuminated and with the logo.
I have tried reseting the unit by holding the power button down for 10seconds and it vibrates and tries to start up again. But again freezes.
I have noticed that when I leave it charging, the unit gets quite warm. But no matter what I do the startup proceedure stops on the provider logo and no more.
I tried starting it with the charger connected and it just seems to be powering the screen because when I unplug it the unit goes dead again within a matter of minutes.
I am at a total loss as to what happened to my phone.
    Can someone help please?

From the sound of it I think it needs a Nokia Care Point. Could be faulty battery or faulty charging.  You can locate your nearest care point using the link below

  • Nokia Lumia 800 won't charge, stuck on loading scr...

My Nokia Lumia 800 ran out  of battery while I was at work (not the first time) I take it home and plug it in, after 20 mins of the red battery screen it vibrates and springs to life, but it never got past the white 'Three' welcome screen (one of three screens that flash up when the phone is first turned on, others are Nokia screen and Windows screen).
It's been charging for over 10 hours and it's still stuck on that white screen. The phone feels cold (not stone cold, but not warm either) so clearly it's not charging. I've tried a different charger, different plug, and plugging it in to the computer. When I unplug it, it dies after 20-30 mins and I go through the whole process again the next time I charge it.
When I plugged it into the computer it behaved very strangely. It rapidly connected/diconncted itself, not giving Windows time to recognoise the device was plugged in and install the driver software. Before evneutally diconnecting itself and going back to that white screen.
What's wrong with it? It's not the first time it's totally ran out of battery (although I don't let it happen very often).
The phone is only 4 months old!
    What do I do?
Nokia Care on Twitter was useless, asked me to do soft resets (already tried, many times, the phone turns off briefly, vibrates, then back to that white screen).
If I have to send it in for repiars how do I do that? I live in South West England, my nearest Nokia Care store is in central London, several hours away.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
The white screen it's stuck on looks just like this: http://www.techwatch.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Three-Logo-235x276.jpg

You should contact the nokia care point and they will organise the device to be collected.
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Issues on the Lumia 800 with "WIFI" and "Mobile ne...

I keep my Lumia 800 on 2G/E at all times usually to conserve battery life, and because i'm at work with a wifi connection all day..occasionally when i go out i like to turn on the 3G and use the map functions etc.
The problem occurs after a while that i notice the 3G draining my battery quite quickly, so i decide i want to turn off the 3G, i go to the "Mobile network" entry under "settings" and when i tap it, nothing happens at all, i also notice my WIFI is turned off, so i tap the "WIFI" entry, and again nothing happens!
So, to solve this problem i have to turn the phone off...but then it takes maybe 10 mins or so till i can turn it back on, it will not turn on straight away!! I have to either wait ten mins or keep pressing the power button and holding it down untilt he phone eventually vibrates to tell me its turning on..whats going on??
If anyone can shed some light on this matter i'd be very grateful!

This is still happening, can anyone shed some light on this?

  • Nokia Lumia 800 - Stuck on 'Connect to PC' screen

Connected the Lumia 800 to my macbook air using the proper Windows Phone app on the mac. Phone connected no problem, backed up all my photo's and videos onto my macbook. Noticed there was an update available for the phone so I updated.
Towards the end of the update, the phone reset itself as expected and then failed to reconnect to the macbook. The phone was never physically disconnected at any point throughout this process.
The Windows Phone app asked me to connect my device and my device had the 'Connect to PC' image on the screen. Both were connected to each other. I left it sit for approximately 20 minutes and nothing changed so I restarted my macbook and again, nothing changed.
I disconnected the phone and tried a different USB port and the Windows Phone app appeared to attempt to connect for a split second but then stopped, no errors or anything.
I've tried a hard reset on the phone (wolume down, camera, power button) and again, nothing. I've let the phone battery go completely flat, again, no difference. I try plugging it into a direct power source to charge, guess what, no difference.
Right now the phone is sitting here, 'Connect to PC' image stuck on the screen, not connecting to anything. If I hold the power button for a few seconds, the phone vibrates, the screen goes black and after about 20 seconds the 'Connect to PC' screen reappears.
I have honestly tried every combination possible. At this point I don't care if I lose all my contacts and messages, I just don't want to be left with a brick.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
PS: I don't have access to a PC so I'm afraid that option is out. MacBook Air (less than 6 months old) and an ancient Ubuntu laptop but that's it.
Picture of "Connect to PC" screen attached.

  • The most systematic analysis of Lumia 800 battery ...

Hi, don’t mean to be arrogant, but I’ve read many threads, forums, posts etc.  There are tons of info, someone tried a table, etc. but no one has attempted to summarise the relevant parameters.  So here goes:
    1.     I have a Cyan 800, bought locked at “3” UK, then unlocked.  It’s beautiful and makes iApple UI look, well, jurassic or geriatric in comparison.  The screen is so beautiful that I switched the thing on just to marvel at the ease of reading the glorious white on black (real black, not grey) and I am smitten by the ascetic aesthetics of the UI that put function over form (I simply can't stomach the saccharine animation of Apple, it is an eye candy for a while, then becomes bothersome, at least to me.
    2.     Initially, I noticed that the battery life was not great, but it did not seem disastrous, and I read all the gleeful Apple worshipping media trying to fan the battery issue, but I thought that it was a storm in a tea cup and just the usual attempt to put-down any competition to Apple.
    3.     Until a couple of days ago I noticed that I have less than ½ charge after only a few hours off the charger without really doing almost anything.
    4.     I panicked, read as much I could the forums, etc. (including probably the most technical – XDA-Forums) but got there only one real advice, the “diagnostics” mode (dial ##634# - I also downloaded an App (called Diagnostics) that does bring you straight to the relevant page without the need to “dial” the ##634#).
    5.     I then tried to see what was draining the battery, I stopped 3G connection and “presto”, the drainage stopped and I thought that I resolved the problem (at least for me, there were clearly problems with a certain hardware code, see below).
    6.     For one day, the battery was very durable.  Even though I had some reasonable With-Fi browsing and calls (GSM, not 3G), there was more than a 1/3rd of the battery left after about 20 hours of the last charge.
    7.     Then, today, the morning began very well (in terms of the battery), it was losing less than a few percentage points every hour.  I used it for light browsing and a bit of Bluetooth listening.  Them my 7-yr old played some X-Box games for a bit, but the battery was way above 2/3rds.  I then noticed that the phone was warm even though it was not on.  Initially, I thought that it was warm because it was on my body, but then I noticed very fast fall in the battery level.  Check:
    a.      the 3G again, no it is still off
    b.     wi-fi and Bluetooth off
    c.      I even checked what Apps were in the background (though I know that it is NOT draining)
    d.      - nothing helps, the drainage was high, even when the phone was closed (i.e., not used).
    8.     There was nothing I could do, until I shut the phone down completely and switched it on again.  Then, the drainage returned to the “good” level, i.e., a few percentage points per hour.
    9.     So bottom line, I think that there was something going-on “in the background (that is why the device was warm even when closed) – the problem is that this seems to be intermittent/random and very difficult to put the finger on what causes this problem.  I hope that Nokia resolves this problem and not only the “low” battery capacity (see below) that Nokia acknowledged.
So after this long intro, what do I see as the “hard-points” here? The most important parameters for the story seem to be in the following screens:
    1.     “Diagnostics” (##634#) “Battery Status” screen;
    2.     “Settings”/”Systems”/”about” screen, have to press the “more information” button;
    3.     “Settings”/”Systems”/”battery saver” screen;
    4.     The battery icon and its remaining capacity representation on the main screen.
The “Diagnostics” (##634#) “Battery Status” screen:
It seems to contain the following info:
    ·       “Charged” – seems to display ALWAYS the figure “65535%”;
    ·       “Voltage” – seems to show figures of between 3.700 V (i.e., volts) to 4.1 or 4.2 volts
    ·       “Current”, followed by “charging” or “discharging” and the current, usually between 130 mA (i.e., milliamp) and 500 mA.
    ·       “Full Charge Capacity” – showing different figures for different people, usually between slightly above 900 mAh (i.e., milli-Amper-hours) and slightly above 1,500 mAh.  Although in this should logically be a fixed-for-ever, or at least in the short term level, the figure seems to fluctuate slightly, see below for more detail.
    ·       “Remaining Charge Capacity” – clearly the most important parameter, showing the remaining mAh in the battery.  Although in theory, the level immediately after long charge should be equal or very near the “Full Charge Capacity”, in practice, it almost never is (remember, I take this not only from my case, but also from numerous reports that I got from the various forums), see below for more detail.
The “Settings”/”Systems”/”about” screen, the relevant info items:
    ·       OS version – it seems that the latest one (as of late dec 2011) should include “7740” in it.  apparently, Nokia promised some respite from the battery bugs in this “7740” update, but from what I read in the forums, there was absolutely no difference.
    ·       Firmware revision number – interestingly, the firmware revision number includes “7720”, though I am not sure what it means.
    ·       Hardware revision number – this ends up with “xxx.3” or “xxx.4” – as below, I wonder if this is a different OEM factories designation, but it seems to me that it is the “xxx.4” that has one type of problem (low “Full Charge Capacity” of under 1,000 mAh).
The “Settings”/”Systems”/”battery saver” screen – what is relevant for us is under the “battery information” – you must unplug the phone from charger to see three lines:
    ·       “Remaining battery life”: supposed to be between 0 and 100% of course (though in this context, calling it “remaining battery life” is misleading, or at least inconsistent with the “remaining charge capacity” of “Battery Status” screen.  Perhaps it would be better to call this “remaining charge”
    ·       “Estimated time remaining” – measured in hours, in my case, it is always under 15 houts.  There is no explanation what it means, I would guess that this is “how many hours will your phone work in stand-by mode”, but then it is way way below what Nokia said – measured in hundreds of hours.
    ·       “Time since last charge – measured in hours.
So below I summarise my findings, but first, my unit parameters:
    Color: Cyan (does not seem to make any difference to people out there – problems “cross” colours;
    OS: “7.10.7740.16”
    Firmware: 1600.2475.7720.11414
    Hardware: 112.1402.2.3
    So, in MY case:
    1.     “Battery Status” screen:
    ·       “Charged” – seems to ALWAYS display the figure “65535%”, like all others on the forums.  This must be some kind of mistake because it does not change or update and makes no sense, now that we are in this so deep, I hope that Nokia explains what the hell this means, if at all;
    ·       “Voltage” – seems to show figures of between 3.700 V (i.e., volts) to 4.1 or 4.2 volts.  When the battery is low, the voltage seems also to fall below 4.0;
    ·       “Current”, followed by “charging” or “discharging” and the current, usually between 130 mA (i.e., milliamp) and 500 mA.  When the battery “plays nice”, i.e., there is no “problem”, this figure is under 150 ma, usually going seesaw between 140 and 155.  When 3G is on, it is above 250 towards 270 mA
    ·       “Full Charge Capacity” – showing for me usually above 1,500, constantly changes, though less frequently then other figures in this screen.  Strangely I noticed that when it is cold (I was jogging and it was in an external pocket with about 7C outside), this number went lower, under 1,500.  Perhaps the battery when colder can hold less charge?  Nokia should explain.  I think that in case of Hadware versions that end in “x.4” the maximum in this parameter is reported under 1,000.
    ·       “Remaining Charge Capacity” – in my unit this never reaches the “Full Charge Capacity” (which is usually slightly above 1,500 mAh), it stops below 1,350 mAh.
    2.     “Battery Saver Screen” and the battery icon on the main screen:
In my case, because the “Remaining” charge never reaches close to the “Full Charge”, when I disconnect the phone from charger, I get straight that “Remaining Battery Life” is “94%” (1350/1500 or so) – and the icon is never 100% “full”, rather “almost” full.  “Estimated time remaining” never really above 15 hrs.
So, there seem to be (at least) two major issues/problems in relation to battery/working-time:
    1.     Firmware revision (probably) “x.4” may have a faulty battery that would not charge above 1,000 mAh (950 mAh is mentioned by many, or about 1/3rd less than intended by Nokia (unless it is a software bug, which will be huge relief for all, especially for nokia);
    2.     Firmware revision “x.3” may have escaped the “crippled” battery of revision “x.4” guys, but from time to time it can lose battery charge at least 2 times faster than otherwise, most likely due to some background processes that can be felt as the device becomes warm even when not switched on (i.e., in stand-by mode).  This seems to be intermittent or random and can be stopped by powering-down the phone and then powering-up again.
    3.     In all cases, the claim that the phone can be several days in sand-by mode, must be wrong and Nokia must address and explain this.
So in summary, at least in respect of battery, there is a mess.  Will be interesting if some people with other WP7 devices can chip-in and say whether it is similar in their cases, but Nokia should be open and explain and even admit mistakes, I hope that this can be rectified by software, or at least it is not a “terminal” complication for Lumia 800, which is a beautiful device.

I would like to thank all the people here who have taken the time to put all this info together for us all and hope it is of help to the folks who are having trouble with battery life. I'm not doing to bad on battery life myself as it always last me though the working part of the day when I don’t have access to a charger and I will soon be updating my car cradle to take the Lumia so will have access to a charger though the day to. Personally I have come from the N900 and that phone also had some battery issues when it first came out which where pretty much sorted over time, as for manufactures claims on battery life, I always read these figures the same way I would read expected miles per gallon that car manufactures put out, meaning that there would only be a very select few that would ever get what the manufactures say you can get the rest of us will all get a very wide variation on these figures. I know that Nokia have acknowledged that there is an issue with battery life and not all of us have this issue, at this moment in time I'm not to unhappy with the battery life, but if it improves then I will be pleased. From all the posts I have read on this site it does seem that some people do read manufactures specifications as if there are set in stone, I'm not criticizing anyone here would just like to say that they are trying to sell you something so have a good look at the figures and maybe check them with other independent sources if at all possible. My only disappointment really is that we have to rely on other people and not Nokia themselves to let us know what’s going on, I wish the manufacture would be more open and quicker to let us know what’s going on and what they are doing to sort out problems and some sort of time frame that we could expect something to come out to fix a problem. I know bugs can me very difficult to find and ever more difficult to fix sometimes but if Nokia put out a weekly report about how things where going on bug fixes or forth coming updates it would help everyone in deciding where they are going with their chosen product.
Again many thanks to all the people helping us all out and wish you all a happy bug free new year.

  • Lumia 800 Wifi crashes

I have the Lumia 800 purchased from Phonehouse, France with Orange as the provider.
My Wifi seem to crash (gets automatically turned off) after 4-5 hours. If I then goto Settings - Wifi, it becomes unresponsive and shows a black screen. I have to restart the phone to get the Wifi working again (it actually resarts with the Wifi turned on.).
I have already applied the available update, but it doesn't solve the problem.
    TIA

There seems to be a problem with the energy-safe-mode: Sometimes the Lumia thinks you are still @energy-safe (although there is no checkbox activated) and therefore wont let you toggle Wifi.
Some people reported that switching the lumia and/or the energy-safe-mode off/on solved these issues... a hard reset surely did it for me.
personally, I experienced the bug two times, since i deactivated energy-safe-mode afterwards, i havent experienced again.

  • Nokia Lumia 820 - freezing / crashing frequently -...

It seems that this is a recurring problem to some Lumias - more the 820 and 920.
I am happy with the phone generaly and the OS.
What I am not happy at all is the recurring crash / freeze. it happens at least once every day, and worst it happens out of nothing. It freezes during the night when it is on charging plate - thankfully I don't have to rely on my phone's alarm clock.
I turned off bluetooth as a lot seem to be saying it may be the cause, but surely it is not. A lot don't seem to have this problem, so basically could this phone be defective? should I return it or not. It is a good equipment but it needs to be reliable. I have never seen this happen on my iphones or on the several androids that I have owned. I would expect that it would not have happened on the NOKIA's new flagship models...

There is a little more to it than just pure speculation. Having seen others with similar issues here and issues that a few long term members of this forum have experienced, we have been able to trace a lot of problems to various apps.  Personally I experienced a freeze caused by an early version of the Nokia Transit app which has since been pulled and updated and re-released.
WP8 being so new means practically every app for it is "beta". Personally I have taken to installing apps one at a time and leaving it for a few days to monitor the new app before installing the next. What I also do before I install anything is to do a search here to see if anyone else is experience problems with the app.
There is nothing in the description which tells you if an app is converted from a WP7 version. I know from having seen it previously for my Lumia 800.

  • Annoying elementary problems with Lumia 800

Hello all from noKIA and microSoft...
Latest OS version upgraded 7.10.8773.98 but still elementary baby problems...
    1. First incoming phone  call ring tone seconds are at full volume 30/30 despite Your setting... **bleep**??? Why these first seconds should be at full volume? Can somebody from noKIA and microSoft explain that?
2 Impossible to swish off phone ring tone AND vibrating thing. It vibrates in any version. **bleep**??? Why it is impossible to switch off EVERYTING sound and vibrato?
    3. Where has gone so old but good thing of ring volume presets as older phones had Outside, Silence, Meeting etc? It was not so bad thing at all. Why it is thrown out?
    4. On the phone with English settings there is Office in Russian... **bleep**??? How can I use all helps, descriptions etc of this soft if I do not understand that language?
    5.  No possibility to download smaller world language keyboard layouts. Why it is so impossible if big brother Windows has it? Ok I understand that it is a "really huge problem" to have menus in world smaller languages (just copy the translations from older models - how hard it can be???)
    6. And why all updates are so difficult, so user involving? Can somebody learn user friendliness in any angle from Apple?
Seams that You do not learn on your mistakes and going deeper in them from phone to phone!
P.S. And after latest update - seamed to not working promissed flip over for silencing the incoming lall ring tone...
    Nokia 1611, 2210, 3110, 5110, 6210, 6310, 6310i (up to these models totally satisfied)
Then don't remember model, then E50 (mostly happy), then N97 mini - phone with briliant keyboard, but poor touchscreen, then business phone E07, phone that can not make a photo of contract, invoice or business card. poor design of usb port and 5 months at service did it - my nowadays phone is Apple. Company gave me Asha 300, so frustrating, that I use my old E50 instead...
    Solved!

About ringtones - it was very useful profile option in "old and dead" Symbian. Please put Yourself in average life - You are in office - want to have very silent ringtones, not disturbing Your collegues, then You go out - again - not a few cilks, but holding the volume **bleep**...
Then You go into theater - want to swich off sound and vibro - again - not so easy few clicks... You have to go to phone settings find sound controls etc... and do this stuff... Very convinient... Why newer phone has worse solutions???
I'm from Latvia, so it is quite strange, that phone itself has only few menu languages in 21st century - except of course Latvian. How hard it can be to emit a phone already with regional language???
But about settings - regional settings are available in Latvia - few things are shown in Latvian, but no keyboard layout in this language - i've checked.... Seams strange. The windows for PC itself already for years is in Latvia and has Latvia keyboard layouts etc.. Why for the Phone OS it is so impossible?
And what for in Latvia Office is in Russian? For Russian office there is huge another country called - Russia... Why it is in Russian - the explanation is still not enough understandable... Russians even have another letters - totally different from Latin. Why we need in our country Russian office??? Think about that somefinnish guy in Finland buys phone and also have on phone Russian office... Efvery finn is just happy and says - this is what he is looking for - Russian office on phone that is sold in Finland for Finns... At leat phone could ack - what Office user wants - and change it while one of annoying long updates is proceeded...
About phone firmware... Do You think it is a normal thing that phone starts to work as it should only after long, annoying and at least three updates? For My country - Latvia - this firmware update is still not available... I've checked on Nokia page... there are 30 countries in Europe and Latvia is not listed...
The third question - I tried to copy phone book from old phone using contacts transfer - but I had to face a problem - BT does not work for that purposes despite that only this option is offered... Is it normal? Only possibility os offered through not supported data conection... Cool!
Isn't it a special thing to introduce in market not finished "beta" phones? So unfinished, not enough tested etc?
And you have to admit - Lumia 800 is not a cheep phone. Why people for that money do not have phone usable right from the box, but it means long updating, configuratinga and problems for big money???
