Lumia 800 The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition is...

I received my Nokia Lumia TDKR Edition today and I am shocked and extremely disappointed.
Its a Lumia 800 phone with a black plastic wrapup.(shockingly: the Mfg Date was Dec, 2011)
The Bat symbol doesnt look the way they showed in the adds. It was quite big and spreaded from one end to other end of the phone. (Actual reason for opting this phone is bat symbol...now, i regret and it looks disguisting on the phone). And there is a TM engraved below the Bat and there is a three digit number also engraved which ruined the look of the phone. In addition to that, i think the person who did the engraving messed it up and there were couple of unwanted engravings.
With much of disappointed of the outer look, I switched on the phone and realized there is no TDKR explicit content. I thought i ahve to connect to PC to get updates from Zune and installed ZUne and checked. No luck.
Nokia just lost one of loyal customers trust by selling their old stock by mocking it up with a batman symbol. Its pure and i wasted my money. I am going to approach consumer court. Lets see what they got to say.
note: I didnt buy this product from some local shop. I submitted my details on the website and booked it through nokia india times shopping. It took 2 weeks to deliver the product and its a great disappointment. My lil sis whom i am going to gift this may not understand that Nokia fooled us but i cant forgive. I ll post the pics soon.

Bro i am with you and also another sad dissapointed owner of this **bleep**...i was so excited about it but when i recieved it today on my bday it was utter disappointment it's clearly not as it was shown and described in the images...has no content from the movie....and yeah any lumia can get app from qr code...whats the sense of releasing a limited edition...and as for pics of the phone here are they...

If you look at the limitations of the game in BlackBerry World (http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/20082872/) you can find out that the game is only available in some countries. Is your country one of the mentioned ? If not, that is the reason why it is not available.
If you want to know more on why only few countries are available, you can contact the developer (Gameloft inc.) for more information.

Hi, I had the same question and I just asked the "iTunes Store/Mac App Store Customer Support" this question. They basically said that if I purchased "The Dark Knight Trilogy" I would be charged for all three movies, even though I have previously bought the two of the three movies.
It appears that movie bundles doesn't work like "complete my album" for music. If you purchased recently, you could try explaining the situation to the iTunes Support staff and seeing if they will remove "the Dark Knife Rises" by giving you store credit, then you can purchase the Trilogy instead. It could be worth a try.

Try deleting iTunes from your computer. Do not delete your iTunes library. Then download and install a fresh copy if iTunes. Reboot your computer after installation of iTunes.
Then reboot your phone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
Reconnect the phone to your computer running iTunes and see if the sync process will go through.

Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises for BlackBerry PlayBook

I've experienced a ton of random crashes and controls disappearing in both games. I finally became fed up and deleted them. I'm a huge fan and would love to play them. I've contacted Gameloft and haven't received a response. I was wondering if Anyone knew of any fixes or know a better way to contact Gameloft?

You will need to contact gameloft and other game makers and ask if they plan on releasing any further games.
With symbian reaching the end of it's life many developers have already abandoned it and moved on to other platforms. There is nothing that this forum or Nokia can do to help you with this as Nokia cannot force developers to release games for an end of life platform.

How do I play The Dark Knight Rises extras on itunes?

I open up the extras. it brings me to the home menu just like on a DVD. when i click features it brings me to the bonus material. when i click the bonus features nothing plays. i clicked all three of them and nothing. can anyone tell me how to watch the extras on my computer?

Same thing is happening to me. After the file finished downloading it stayed in the "Downloads" folder instead of moving to the "Movies" folder, so for some reason because of that the extras aren't playing. I emailed customer support and the person I was talking to let me redownload just the iTunes Extras file but the same thing happened. Then he said that was all he could do and he hopes he helped me. So if you decide to email support and get more help than I did please respond to this.

Dark Knight Rises Lumia 800 - lost content, please...

Hi guys, I was wondering if any one could help me out.
I've got a Nokia Lumia 800 Dark Knight Rises edition device and had to reset it. This meant that I lost all of the exclusive ringtones, videos, wallpapers and downloadable content that was present with the device, and in the settings and about phone section it lists the phone as a standard Nokia Lumia 800, as opposed to a DKR edition one.
I thought that these extras would be baked into the ROM, so I didn't think that a full reset would wipe any of it.
Is there any chance at all that I could get this stuff back, either through flashing a Dark Knight Rises ROM onto the device, or if anyone can share the content with me on here, that would be great.
I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask any way.

As this is a movie promotion "The Dark Knight Rises" will appear in Windows Marketplace > Nokia Collection in your region in due course. In the USA & UK it was released for the Lumia 900 last week and is now available upon 800 and 710 in UK at time of this post being tied to release of film as you can see upon this screenshot:
AFAIK this will replicate the material that was pre-loaded upon your device.

Anyone having problems with "The Dark Knight" digital copy?

I downloaded the digital copy of "The Dark Knight" onto itunes by using a redeem code that came with the dvd set. The movie downloaded, but when I try to watch it there is no picture or sound even though the timer is activated. I emailed itunes support and they told me to uninstall then reinstall itunes, quicktime, and other apple software. I followed their instructions, but the movie still plays with no picture or sound. Anyone have similar problems? Or a solution?

im having the same trouble with a digital copy of star trek i just keep getting a grey screen no audio or visual.
ive just had a good scroll through some off the answered questions one thing you could try is deauthorizing your computer form itunes and then reauthorizing it. hopefully this should work for u.

Digital Copy, The Dark Knight

I bought the dark knight on bluray which came with a digital copy but it won't sync to my ipod even tho I downloaded it via itunes. It says unable to copy to ipod cause format is not supported by ipod. I have ipod nano 3rd gen and never had this problem before.

I had the same problem with mine and I copied the Dark Knight file from iTunes to my desktop, deleted it from iTunes and then put it back in and it copied fine.
