Lumia 920 on Black Amber - HERE Maps stops working

Hi,
After being trilled about updating and closing my applications using the X button on multi-tasking (finally!), I went into my Here Maps, or rather, I tried to open Here Maps, and it closed (probably an exception occurs and closes the app, just like when you develop WP apps).
So i've been searching the web.
Solutions that i've seen
1- Reset Phone (Done)
2- Soft Reset (Done)
3- Uninstall, Reinstall (Done)
4- Open while in Airplane/Removing SIM => still closes and crash
5- Uninstall Maps in Settings > Applications > Maps, I don't have Maps option (Even when I install/uninstall HERE Maps and/or HERE Drive+ and/or HERE Transit)
6- No updates available
7- Updated to latest version (I'm on black amber).
So after all that, i've been for 2 hours not able to solve my issue, which is (to recap):
Can't open HERE Maps on Lumia 920 (Black Amber), instantly crashes. I can still use Transit for getting my subway + bus infos, but can't use HERE Drive+ and Maps.
If there's anything more you need, please ask.

Dear Nokia support
All of my application which were integrated with maps are not working properly.
Unfortunatelly, there are no updates from Nokia on this issue.

Similar issue with Lumia 920 (WP8) heating up when using Here Drive. I've resorted to using it only for short amounts of time to avoid excessive heat buildup. When I use Here Drive, battery life is significantly shortened also which is another reason why I don't leave it running during long drives. If the phone does overheat, it tends to exit out of the Drive app and I sometimes I don't realize that Navigation has stopped working until I look at the phone!
And no, I do not use live traffic data as I do not have a data plan on my phone.

Lumia 920 with black not working Play to

I spent today in update Lumia 920 black and I can not download the Play To the version 3 tells me that is not available on my device
what's wrong what to do????

I to downloaded the update Lumia Black, although when i tried to use "Play to", a message appeared to say an update is required, downloaded that. Now when I try to turn the "play to" on the same message appears. Could someone help, or Microsoft, Nokia could fix this problem.!

HERE maps not working after update

I have a Lumia 822, and after installing the updates yesterday, HERE maps (formerly Nokia Maps) crashes immediately after finding my location. I literally can't do anything with the app.
This doesn't seem to be an isolated problem (Several users at WPCentral commented on it), but I haven't seen anything in the Nokia Support discussions yet, so figured I'd open up the floor.
Anyone else experiencing issues?

Do you have any suspicions as to what may have started it working again? Did you restart or reboot the phone or anyting like that?

Port mapping stopped working using Mavericks

Hi,
on Snow Leopard, I had iVPN using port mapping up-and-running.
Basically using this explanation (https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3415).
On Mavericks it stopped working.
I'm running AE 7.7.2, and Mavericks 10.9.1.
Tools I tried are iVPN together with a DynDNS setup (also the Personal Website).
I don't get non of these working anymore...
Any ideas?

OK solved, or at least the problem was not with the modem or router.
Oddly, enough the app I was using to test the port forwarding did not recognize that the ports were open. Nor did the internet via canyouseeme.org. However, when I tried a previous version of the same app, it worked fine.
I am still using 7.6.1, but I will upgrade the firmware and see if things are still ok.
Sorry to clog up the boards with what turned out to be a non-issue. I'd erase this post if I knew how.

Maps stopped working. How can I fix it?

I'm running Yosemite Version 10.10.1 on an iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011), Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3. Maps has stopped working. It launches, then then displays a grid with a pin in it, and a spinning beach ball. It responds to nothing. I have force quit it numerous times, I restarted the computer several times, I downloaded and reinstalled Yosemite, and I shut down the computer overnight. I also trashed the p-list. I really like this program. How can I make it work again?

Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the menu bar, select
           ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Date & Time ▹ Time Zone
Check the box marked
          Set time zone automatically using current location
if it's not already checked. If the box is checked, uncheck it and then check it again. Test.
If the correct location and time zone aren't shown in the preference pane, then either Wi-Fi is turned off, or you're not within range of a network in the Location Services database. Under those conditions, the computer can't determine your location.

Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Maps
Right-click or control-click the line and select
         Services ▹ Reveal in Finder
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.Maps" selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the folder to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Relaunch the application and test. If there's no change, quit again and put the item you moved back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Otherwise, delete the folder you moved. The list of recent places displayed in Maps will be lost.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Google Maps stopped working with recent iPhone update

Since updating my iPhone Google Maps has stopped working for me. When I try for driving directions I get a message that driving directions can not be received.
Anyone else? Any easy fix?

N95 Map stop working after firmware update

I have the N95, just update the firmware with the latest (04/25/09), the map App stop working today… it work after the update… it will not load and when I try to reload the map to the phone via Map loader it sees the phone the says it can’t read the license information…
Need help please.

have u tried reinstalling the maps application?
u can get the latest maps application update from http://www.nokia.com/maps
download the application associated with ur n95 and install it using the pc suite application

Maps Stop working after install new FW 20

I finish installed the new FW 20 all went smooth after I finish few things s top working:
Maps not working it start show the map and crash (back to the main screen). I total remove it and installed it again; I reload the latest maps as well but still same behavior.
Connectivity -> Destination when I select it does same like Maps return me to the main screen.
How to fix this problem?
I have no problem to make any full reset and reinstall all as I have nothing on the device and I got all backup as well.

How can I backup apps and maps/voice guidance before a hard reset process?? Making backup copies of photos/vidoes is simple... But I have some 8 GB of apps/maps/voice guidance and I really need most of them... Is there any way to back these up?

not sure why you want to back those up.
after you reformat, you can just reinstall them very easily.
that is, if you are talking about the nokia maps/drive
if it is another 3rd party application, then you may want to specify

Google maps stopped working, & won't re-install

My Goolge maps app suddenly decided to not open up. After restarting etc, I uninstalled it & try to re-install but I just get 'Online Certificate Check Failed'
Any ideas please?

Make sure not to disable Wi-Fi. If you disable Wi-Fi via the notification bar, Google Maps opens for a seconds and closes rigth away again. Google Maps uses the Wi-Fi API for detecting your location faster. Obviously, Google does not expect the Wi-Fi to be turned off.
