Lumia 925 dispaly problem

I have a problem with my lumia 925.
When the phone warms, or the battery is low, the display colors no longer see properly. (google translate)

Not sure if this is what you are encountering, but when the battery is low and battery saver option is turned ON the phone adjusts/reduces the brightness of the display.

I was playing on pc when i saw that the screen on my lumia 925 just broke kind of i will put some pictures and i try to restore it but it didnt work is the same .... i never drop it in any place or put it near water or st dangerous it was in case all the time plz can you tell me is a display issu or a soft problem ??

That looks like display issue. You need to take it to Nokia care center and get the display replaced.

hi mate, have you tried resetting the Nokia Camera settings to default, and also checking that you are fully up to date with the latest firmware for your device, along with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store?

Lumia 925 Display Problem ! !

I have lumia 925 , while playing mid-range game like (Subway Surfers or Traffic Racer) the 925 become heater within 5 minutes , then the Display starts brightness errors ( like Light Flashes on it at loading times ).
I have the 925 from just 30 days ago .
at the first week this problem was occur within 20 minutes of use > but now just 5 > !!
what can i do ?!

strange mate, it is normal for a handset to heat up a little during processor intensive tasks such as gaming or heavy web browsing. have you checked that you are up to date with the latest firwmare for your device along with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store.

Nokia lumia 925 display problem

Hi everyone,
I have owned Lumia 925 and having trouble with its display as it gets low in din light. It gets lie even greater than the phone's default low level.

It's the same on my 920 and 1020. When brightness is set to automatic the screen does dim down to a level below the phones low brightness level when in a dark or dimly lit room.
There isn't anything that can be done about this other than setting the brightness level to one of the manual settings and disabling automatic brightness.

Lumia 925 speech problem on hands free

My phone connects fine and I can make outgoing calls ok, its when I receive incoming calls that the speech doesn't transfer to the cars system.

Have you been able to receive calls via BT connection to your car kit before? Aside from your carkit, have you tried pairing your Lumia 925 with other BT devices like headsets that are capable of receiving calls? BT devices have specific Hands Free Profile (HFP) versions which allow receiving calls through car kits via Bluetooth connectivity. Your Lumia 925 uses HFP version 1.6. Have you verified from the manufacturer of your car system if they fully support this version?
Make sure that your phone's SW is updated. To check, you can just go to Settings > phone update > check for updates. Keeping the phone's SW up-to-date helps maintain the full functionality of your Lumia 925's features.

Lumia 925 Unlock Problem

Hi everyone. I bought a Lumia 925 off ebay a few months back. The phone looks new but was locked to the AT&T network. Anyway, I tried a few unlocking services but none of them could find the unlock code for my lumia even if the phone has a clean ESN. Do you know of any way to unlock the phone or have any idea why no one has found the unlock code in any database. Thank you.

This would need to be taken up with AT&T But the original owner can only do it.

Nokia lumia 925 Batt problems, hardware problems, ...

I have replaced 3 Nokia 925 phones within 3 weeks for the same problems listed on this board... This is unacceptable for any cell phone manufacture. There is clearly quality issues with these ticking time bombs. How can a product this good be so bad? We as Nokia Windows phone lovers should demand that they make this right. Nokia should be more proactive by having a recall on these devices. I switched to the HTC One and was not impressed. Although i prefer a Nokia i will not return until they fix this problem....

I just can't agree with you more! I have been experienced with the same issues with overheated battery. I just received the 3rd one now getting ready to try! . My 2nd one lasted for 2 days when the overheating issue happened and then battery drained to nothing within 2 hours with light use!!! It got to the point that I couldnt even make a call or send/receiving texts!!! PLEASE CORRECT THIS!!!!!! ASAP!

Nokia Lumia 925 Storage problem

Asphalt 8's update was stuck on 'installing' for too long so I rebooted the phone. On starting up again, I saw that the update was restarting and was about to download those 820MBs again. I cancelled the update. Doing this somehow removed the whole game from my phone as it was not in the Games hub anymore. I went into the store to download it but couldn't because I was out of storage space!
I looked into the 'storage check' in settings and this is what I see:

Settings as an app is 2.8GB?
I can't clear this bloat. Any help?

"Settings" on my 925 is only 100mb. Looks to be like the Asphalt installation is stuck as a swap file in "Settings". Are you getting the option to uninstall? Have you tried clearing "Temp files" in Storage Check and in Phone Storage?
Otherwise, a reset might be required.

Lumia 925 photo problem

Hi.
Photos are saved with a noticeable distortion of the color balance towards green/yellow. Annex Nokia Pro Cam is clearly seen at what point there is distortion. If you click on the browse button of the last photo, then in the first second the picture can be seen with normal color balance, but then turns into distorted.
How to fix it?

Lumia 925 headphones problem

I've had my phone since the end of April. This problem occurred the day after I bought it, but a reset solved it. It has now returned with a vengeance.
When I plug in my headphones, 40% of the time the phone doesn't detect them, so the sound plays out of the speakers. The other 60% of the time the volume glitches out. It wil either rush to 0, or 30. Holding down the opposite volume button just stalls it. These factors make the phone useless for playing music.
I have tried multiple sets of earphones, and the problem persists.
I have tries turning it off and on again, a soft reset, a hard reset and a factory reset, so I'd rather not be advised to do any of these things, thanks. Do I need to take it in for repairs?

I am also having this exact problem.
The issue for me only started a couple of weeks ago. I have had the phone for about a year now. When listening to music through my earphones the audio often just stops for no apparent reason - it's as if it is pausing the player on my phone, because all I need to do is hit play again.
Often when I hit play, the sound doesn't come out of the earphones, but out of the loud speaker instead - like the OP said. I have to unplug and re-plug the earphones to get it to work. I have also noticed that sometimes unplugging the earphones no longer stops the audio (if it's playing) and in that situation the audio doesn't come out of the speakers, but the audio is still playing.
I have had issues very similar to this before, but up until now that has simply been because of the build up of "fluff" in the headphone socket. On this occasion though I have given the socket a good clean, but this problem is still ongoing and it's becoming very frustrating!
I thought that maybe it is earphones causing the problem - again I have had similar problems before, but a tug on the earphone cable would always reproduce the issue. However, on this occasion, I can't find a pattern like that. Although in fairness, I won't know for sure until I try another set of earphones.
I have soft, hard and factory reset my phone - still the same problem.
What then does "resetting your phone software using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool" do that is different to a factory reset?

Lumia 925 Mapping problem

I'm using the feature where I select an address from a calendar entry and let they system find the location using the Maps feature. The address is in this format: 4040 S 188th St Suite 300, Seatle, WA. When it resolves the address, it fails to resolve anything beyond Seattle. However, if I modify the entered address and remove the WA (the state), the address gets resolved correctly.
Any suggestions?

Lumia 925 volume problem playing music

when playing music the volume decreases after 15-20 minutes, I have to keep increasing volume so i can hear anything. Using headphones I have to increase volume to 30 for reasonable sound, but only happens after 15-20 minutes...soft reset does not help. Hardware issue or software? Anyone had this problem? It did happen once after a warning on screen about hearing damage at high volume...

It is not a software or hardware fault/bug. It is a generic warning. I hear music at volume 15-18 and it very audible, as I use a noise cancelling ear-phones I don't have to increase the volume higher when I'm outside.

Problem with Nokia Lumia 925

This is what i encountered with my nokia Lumia 925 after 3 days of usage, i am not sure anyone besides me, facing the same problem.
- Overheating, after taking few photos, the phone feel a sudden of heat near the camera.
- Freeze, the phone freeze sometimes, and auto turn off the wifi, when you open it, it says you need to restart the phone, before can turn on the wifi.
- Music + videos apps, when you swipe your music in the apps, the apps freezes, but music still playing. Frustrated when you trying to change tracks.
- Video, i transfer some of my video via windows 8 to the phone, some of it lagging while playing the video. i have try numerous video format, it is still the same. I think it is a software problem. It works fine on my old lumia.
- Auto reboot, my phone has been reboot for 2 times, one time is after a called,another one is after i finish using my wechat application.
Lastly, i love lumia 925, i think the design and the pictures capability are what i really in love with, but i hope someone from nokia could tell me how to solve the above problems.

Hi, Di_vico. Does this mean you are not using the case anymore? Do you have a Lumia 925 as well?
As the concern is present with a case on, try doing the below steps. Let's check if these will correct it.
1. Press and hold the volume down and the power buttons at the same time until you feel a vibration (about 10-15 seconds). Your phone will restart automatically.

2. Check that your device is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > phone update.

Lumia 925 noise cancelling mic problems

I have two problem, questions:
First, I lived in Kuwait and there I bought a Nokia lumia 925 with 12 months Nokia warranty, however I moved back to my home country, is the warranty valid here too?
-the real problem- :
Unfortunately I need it since the noise cancelling Mic does not work on it. The other microphone at the bottom of the phone works great, because during a phone call there is no problem, they hear me.
However I expected today, when I recorded a video and played it back, it was not mute, but it was like the phone would be in water, I only heard strange muffled sounds. I looked after it, I had been cleaning it for an hour: I blew air into the top microphone with a pump, with my mouth... It did not succeed, it got a little bit better, since now that strange sound is more quiet, and when I shout in it , I can hear it.
Anyway it does not even work while I am recording in the OneNote app.
It is not a solution, it is still terrible.
Please help me!
