Model: NOKIA Lumia 822
Carrier: Verizon Wireless
Software: Windows Phone 8.1 Update
At work, there are wireless access points all over the building. When I arrive in the morning, I am prompted for my enterprise password, and when I move from access point to access point, my phone drops my wireless connection and re-prompts me for my enterprise password even though the SSID is the same. This behavior started happening after I updated my phone from Windows Phone 8.0 to Windows Phone 8.1 AND after I subsquently changed my enterprise password.
It seems to NOT be storing my new password in the wireless connection profile. I have tried deleting the profile and recreating it, but that doesn't seem to fix it.
I do not have this problem at home--and I have multiple routers in my home with the same SSID configured in bridge mode--but then I haven't changed my wireless password at home in years.
I believe there is a bug in this update, but I can't put my finger on it--can someone explain what's going on and when it will be fixed? I'm former Microsoft--I'm wondering if they are experiencing this on campus in Redmond. I'm guessing not. I don't have specifics on what my current employer is running. But my wireless connection is configured for "WPA2 Enterprise EAP Method = PEAP MS-CHAP v2".

Hi, rmckenrick. Have you already tried resetting the phone? Note that files will be deleted, so backup is a must. BTW, any difference if you press and hold both the volume down and the power keys for 10-15 seconds? If that doesn't help, you may use the Windows Phone Recovery Tool to reset or recover the phone's software. Link is intended for the UK, but you can still change it to your local support page. Let us know the outcome.

Just login to Amazon, Netflix and other sites in Safari. For each site after I entered the username and password, then after I pressed the "Log In" button, a pop-up message box appears:

I have the same problem too on my iPad 3. One thing that sometimes works is if you go to the App Store and put your password in there after a few tries it may work.

No there is not an on-screen keyboard.
Why don't you use your keyboard to input the Wi-Fi password?
If your keyboard is an Apple wireless keyboard, then it is a Bluetooth keyboard. In the event the keyboard will not connect to your computer (you type and nothing happens!!) then simply follow these directions: Troubleshooting wireless mouse and keyboard issues - Apple Support
Once you have the keyboard connected and working then simply input the Wi-Fi password and you are done.

Why won't my I Phone 5 not remember my wifi password? I thought when you entered it the phone would remember it for future use automaticly.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi Fi password.
Hopfully it will retain the settings after that.

Ihave a new ipod touch with the latest software and it will not remember my wifi password. I have to reconnect and renter the password everyday when I come home. My router is a Linksys using WPA2-Personal security with AES encryption. I searched the net but usualy answers are only for iphone or ipad. I have powered on and off a few times and I did try what ipad and iphone suggestions were applicable but no luck. I was thinking that it was because the router security was changing things to keep unauthorized people out but my laptop never has an issue. I did change the password to an easy one so I could at least enter it everytime alot easier than the long digit one I originally had but it would be nice to have it work correctly....

You could unplug your router than plug it back in. You could turn the iPhone completely off and then back on.

Read the router's user manual on how to change your password.
If you are going to select another password, make sure it's one that you will NEVER forget AND no one else can figure it out. Print it out & keep in a safe place. A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Firefox won't remember username and password on a certain site. I have the option enabled to remember passwords, and the site is not listed in the exceptions. On my home computer, Firefox DOES remember the password for this specific site. Any suggestions?

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode Firefox won't fill names and passwords automatically.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

My itouch won't accept my wifi password...what do i do?

I just got my itouch a couple of days ago. I use a wifi connection at home and it works well with my macbook pro. I don't have any issues with that. The thing is my itouch wont accept the wifi password. I don't understand why. I've reset the modem and my itouch and still nothing. I'm not sure what's wrong nor how to fix it. Do other devices now connect?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Network manager won't store my WIFI password

hi everyone,
i seem to have a problem with my network manager (tried both the KDE network connection manager as well as the gnome nm-applet).
Whenever i want to connect to my wifi it asks for my WIFI password, although it's correctly stored in the network manager already and it won't accept it, the password prompt pops up over and over again.
I'm desperate, i don't know what else to do, or what's causing this problem.
I also started the nm-applet from the terminal and got this error message:
m-applet-Message: No keyring secrets found for SSID/802-11-wireless-security; asking user.
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.
does anyone have any ideas?

Try to connect manually, open the terminal and issue the following:
ip link set <interface's name> down
ip link set <interface's name> up
Select your AP:
iwlist <interface's name> scan | grep ESSID
Connect to it:
wpa_supplicant -B -i <interface's name> -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/test.conf
Then print the status:
systemctl status dhcpcd@<interface's name>.service
or
systemctl status dhcpcd.service
