LWAPP 1130AG constantly associating and disassociating

Hi,
I have inherited a LWAPP system with around 40 1130AGs and a single 4400 WLC which all work fine.
I attempted to upgrade a 1130 Autonomous to LWAPP and it said it worked using the upgrade tool and c1130-rcvk9w8-tar.123-11JX1 image.
I checked the WLC and initially could see that the WAP was downloading the image from the WLC, but since then it constantly says this on the WLC:
AP Disassociated. Base Radio MAC:*************
AP Associated. Base Radio MAC: *****************
I have done debug lwapp events enable on the WLC and all it says regarding the WAP is:
Tue Jul 14 13:22:20 2009: ************* Received LWAPP DISCOVERY REQUEST from AP ************** to ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff on port '2'
And that's it. Nothing else.
I've added the Mac address into the WLC AP Authorization list as a MIC.
I'm trying to get the public key hash using debug pm pki enable using Putty, but when I put in this command, it logs a huge amount of stuff and then Putty simply closes, without logging the needed info. Is there any other way to get this, or stop the session from closing?
Any ideas on getting the 1130AG working?

Sounds like you have a duplicate IP address issue. If the AP is associating to the WLC and then a duplicate address is dicovered the AP will temporarily lose IP connectivity, pick up the same IP address again and keep going round in circles.
How is the AP obtaining its IP address? If you are using a server check the leases and exclude any static addresses issued. If you are using the WLC DHCP server be careful as they aren't intelligent enough to discover conflicts.
If all else fails do a port span of the WLC uplink and post the trace. If you see the AP transmitting LWAPP traffic to the AP manager, then after a minute it is doing a DHCP Discover then it is defintely IP conflicts.
You can also configure the AP with a known unused static IP address with the command 'lwapp ap ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x'

What's going on, and how should I iron it out?

It looks like an issue with the Wii. You could try altering the settings on the Wii, to give it a static IP address.

It should not keep disassociating with the home hub.Try changing the home hub encryption to WPA only.

Automate or Script to complete PG user association and Disassociation

Customer is facing this problem again and again . LCP and RCP ports needs to be disassociate and associate.
Is there any way we can automate if we know the ports so that only one script can be run and finish the task instead of doing one by one.

Access Points keep associating and disassociating from WLC

I have numerous access points, both 3502 and 3602's that are connected to Cisco 2960s POE switches that will disassociate and then reassociate themselves with the WLC. The WLC and access points are running 7.4.110.0. The particaular Cisco 2960s POE switch in this case is running 12.2(55)SE3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1). This is becoming a widespread issue.

When the AP recovers, what is the physical up time and WLC association time.
Now if your AP(s) regularly reboots then I'd consider you test the cable runs using the on-board TDR feature of your switch.

Ap constantly upgrading and rebooting

Hi,
I have an issue where my new Ap's out of the box in that they are registering with the master controller, upgrading the Lwapp software then rebooting and going through the same upgrade process again and again.
Constantly upgrading!!
Other AP's that are already registered with the controller some time ago are working fine upon power cycle.
The DHCP option is working as I can see the controller address's being obtained and of course its getting the software from the controller.
Any thoughts??

I am curious to hear from Scott to know if any of these things resolved the issue. I am having the exact problem. I received a batch of LAPs and most worked just fine but others have this same problem right out of the box. Seems like they incorrectly mixed a batch of America region LAps with forien reg domains. Just my opinion.... I verified all of the things suggested by the posters with no hits or resolution.

Upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 for Mac, constantly freezes and crashes, have to force quit, bad bugs. Switching to Safari.

I upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1, and it now constantly freezes, won't respond at all, and has to be force quit and restarted. Within less than 5 minutes of use, over and over and over... I'm assuming it is a bug in the Mac version.... Am switching to Safari as I can't waste this much time constantly quitting and restarting and getting my tabs all back up. Any suggestions on ways to let Firefox know about the bug would be greatly appreciated. It worked fine until I upgraded :( Am running Mac OS X 10.6.7

Associations and Links does not load when creating Business Components

Hi guys,
I am having a problem when I create my business components from table. Let's say that I start a new fusion web application. I then create my business components, enter the proper database connection settings. After everything is done, I am only getting my entities and my views, without any associations and links.
The thing is that it worked the first time. Everything loaded as it should. I then asked a collegue of mine to try on his computer. Surprise, everything loads perfectly just like it did the first time I did it.
I then tried on one of my linux virtual machine, via the same PC that I am having the problem. Again, the same problem, even if this is another JDeveloper instance (vm).
I have read the thread 2187263 that mentions to re-create the DB connection. Again, it is not working.

Yes. In SQL Developer, when I click "Modify" on one of my tables, and then on "Foreign Keys", I can see them all.

Do you have current backups?
Those symptoms could indicate a failing Hard drive. If it dies, all your documents go with it unless you have Backups.
I have had very good luck with physical and battery problem diagnosis at the Genius Bar. Those guys put their hands (and their ears) to these machines, all day every day, and they know immediately what all those sounds mean.

Problem in file association and main-class in JWS

I have a problem in JWS with file association and main-class. I have a java application that has two entry classes, one is appmain.class that is required to launch from web, and the other is player.class that is required to launch when user double-click the .abc extension file.
In JWS 5.0+, there is a association element in JNLP syntax that can be used to make the file association with .abc extension. But how can I declare the main-class in JNLP file?
If I declare the application-desc element as <application-desc main-class="player">, the player.class will be launched from web. But if I declare it as <application-desc main-class="appmain">, the .abc extension wil be associated to the appmain.class.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you for your kindly help.

[ADF-11.1.2] Non Sense Associations and View Links while using Mysql as DB

Hello,
I recently started using Oracle ADF with MySQL at design time.

With Jdeveloper, I created following tables with Mysql Database connection:
1. Company : (CompanyID, Name)
2. People : (PeopleID, FirstName, LastName, CompanyID [referencing CompanyID from Company Table])
Problem 1 : Everytime when I click OK button to create a "new Table" in mysql database, Jdeveloper throws error "Table Doesn't not exists". and when I refresh database connection, it shows me the new table. I don't understand why Jdeveloper is throwing error !
Once the table and linking between them is done, I can see 1-to-many relation between COmpany and People table on Database diagram ...
In Model Layer, I go for "Business Components from Tables" from 'New Gallery' where in I select both tables from mysql database to create EO & VOs of respective Table.
At the end, along of EOs and VOs, it also create following two associations and VL:
1. PeopleCompanyFkAssoc and PeopleCompanyFkLink >> 0..1 to * Cardinality Between People.PeopleID and People.CompanyID
2. PeopleCompanyFkAssoc1 and PeopleCompanyFkAsoc1Link >> 0..1 to * Cardinality Between Company.CompanyID and People.CompanyID
Problem 2 : 1st Association and VL doesn't make any sense at all !!! If Jdeveloper recongnize relationship correctly between tables on Database diagram and why can't it recongnize correct relationship while creating associations ? This problem is occuring for every table I create in Mysql database.
Also, http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/mysql-and-bc-howto-082060.html indicates following:
"+ADF BC does not automatically find the primary keys on your MySQL tables. That has two side effects. You'll see some errors when creating and modifying BC objects, and you'll have to define your BC primary keys manually. However, these errors should not affect your project.+"
But when my EO was created, it was already having Primary Key selected for correct attributes.
Anyways, please help in resolving Problem 2 ...

Computer to router constantly sending and receiving packets

I have two separate computers, one wireless and one connected direct to my router. One running XP home and the other running XP pro, both will all current updates. Both computers running ZoneAlarm Pro firewall and Kaspersky antivirus and should be virus free. Both computers are constantly sending and receiving several packets to the router every second (even with internet unplugged, this is just computer to router traffic). It is svchost.exe that is doing the work. It is TCP traffic with around 200-7000 bytes of data. Sometimes when redoing the connection (power down router, unplug cable, ect…) it will quit doing it. I had the same issue with my past USRobotics router. What could be causing this? It is interfering with my ability to monitor my internet bandwidth speed and usage.

Since no one has any idea, I did some things on my own. The first thing I did was to use my computers firewall to block the destination port to each router (they were both different). The second thing I did was to update my linksys router firmware with DD-WRT. That seems to have solved it for good, as I have disabled the the firewall blocks and all is good. Freeware hacks rule.

IMac windows constantly moving and changing by themselves

My iMac is possessed. Windows are constantly opening and closing and changing size by them selves. Brightness goes up and down by itself. iTunes opens by itself. I can't select individual files in finder on the rare moments everything does stop moving. I updated software, plugged the computer, router, disconnected peripherals. I disabled the iPad from automatically connecting with the iMac. I changed to a wired mouse and turned off the key pad, still does it. Our iPad was doing it too, a few months ago and would play random music at odd times, really loud. Disconnecting everything worked at that time, but not now. Help!!

To be clear, when I say 'save', I mean select the 'Move To' Message menu pick. Further, the issue in question is the appearance (or not ) of an additional pick on the Message menu, to wit, Move to {folder name} Again ... And in all cases, in all tests, the folder named in the Move To process was the same one.
There is only one other user - my wife, who is afraid to even empty the trash. I did the test in that account as well, and it functioned the same as on my own account. On to the suggested Safe mode test.
Prior to shutting down, I had sent myself a test message, retrieved the mail, selected that message in the Inbox, pulled down the Message menu, and noted that the 'again' message pick was not there. I left that message in the Inbox and restarted in Safe mode. Then I selected the leftover message, pulled down the Message menu, and the 'again' pick was not there. I left the message in the Inbox.
Then I restarted normally, did the same sequence, and the 'again' pick was still missing. Hmmm. I sent myself a second test message, went through the process again, saving first the leftover message (no 'again' pick showed), and then the new second message (the 'again' pick had returned). So one thing I discovered was that the 'again' pick does not survive a restart, for whatever that's worth.
Then, realizing that there was another case, I started all over again. In Safe mode I created, sent, retrieved, and saved two messages in that one session. The behavior was as I have described - no 'again' pick while saving the first, 'again' reappeared for the second save.

Associations and extended objects

I'm just beginning to look at bc4j so bear with me if I ask a stupid question :-)
The thing is that I'm experimenting with simple inheritance and I cant seem to get the associations to work like I would expect. I have 3 classes (business components). Customer, Account (which in my model is an abstract superclass) and SavingsAccount. And there is an association between Account and Customer in my model implying of cause that there is an assosiation between all subclasses of Account (SavingsAccount) and Customer.
Account and SavingsAccount are in seperate tables - mabye thats where my problems lie ?
But no such associations are created automatically by the 'create database objects' command.
Is this also the experience of others here ? What it means is that my model gets 'abused' when I create the associations and I'm not too happy about that.

Your last piece of code shows what I will probably end up doing, as this just can't seem to work, i.e. getting each Object1 and casting it to an Object2.
What I need, is to initially build an ArrayList containing Object1s. Then my Object2 class is an extension of Object1, and therefore I else want to have that ArrayList returned, but the info I need now are Object2s. So basically build an ArrayList of Object1s, needed in that particular class, make a method that returns it, invoke that method in another class, but have that ArrayList contain Object2s instead.
While I could iterate through the elements, I will also need to return the ArrayList with Object2 elements in it from the other class, so I prefer being able to do it in one swoop, using generics, if at all possible. Which it seems not to be.

Just what are you doing? What is the wording of the error message?

APs showing 'not associated' and 'not registered' in PI 2.1

I have got a weird issue in PI 2.1.0.0.87.
WiSM2, running on version 7.4.121.21, shows reachable and managed/synchronized in PI. However, the APs managed by it show 'controller IP->not associated' and 'not registered'. It is been confirmed that the SNMP/TELNET/HTTP creds are correct and all the APs in question are showing fully operational in WLC. When the user trying to delete the entry in PI, it always failed without any messages.
Any ideas why it happens?

Remove the controller and add again, see if the APs are reflected then
