LWE - Problems to see the service working to the users

Hi to all,
Im trying to implement LWE on ESS1.0, EP7, ERP2005 ECC6.0.

I released all the objects, after I went to GP Design View and went to see the instantiation id (LWE Events in ESS). This is different from the backend but I have a problem:
When I change the Resource ID in the backend to be the same like in the portal, the process to the user disappear, If I dont change the resource ID I get the error Cannot retrieve process template: No active version of the given development object exists
In the default roles I inserted the user in the Overseer and my user on the Administrator
If I test directly in the Design View the process work properly.
Im missing something!!
Can anyone help me?

If you go to bpel console host:port/BPELConsole (in a dev install, localhost:9700), click on your process, we will generate, based on the describing wsdl a UI for you ..

Couple of things - you can open the interface for any instrument or plug-in by double-clicking its insert slot on the channel strip. You can configure Logic to automatically open the interface for a plug-in when you first instantiate it in the preferences. Go to Logic Pro > Preferences > Display > Mixer, and check the box for "Open plug-in window on insertion".

Hi,
YES, you can see in SU01 and select the user . ANd check for the Roles assigned to that particular User.
By seeing the Roles itself we can be able to say the Authorized or not

Problem in seeing the .xls and .pps file content

hi all
i have uploaded files to my server using jsp and i am giving the link to see the uploaded files to user
it is working fine for .doc,.jpg ,.html ,.txt ,.ppt files
but not for .xls and .pps files
thought when on save traget as.... (on user's computer )it is working
but on simple left click on the link (of .xls file)
the bytecode data is opened in the browser window
plz help

Problem in seeing the details in Monitor of Infopackage......

Hi,
I am doing INIT without data transfer.
When I go in monitor and try to see the details I not able to see any thing , its not displaying any of the TABS of monitor like Hedear , Status and Details.
When I go to data target and try to open from again it dont displays anything.
Can anybody let me know if have faced similar problem?

Hi Jeetu,
Please can U check the Scheduling options inthe Infopackage screen, plz ensure that the job has been scheduled either immediately or to a specific time period.
If it was a immediate run, plz check the job status in SM37 for both source system and BW. If the job has ran successfully then you should get some logs for that, U will not find logs unless until the job hasn't ran (or) started.

Problem in seeing the periods in the cube output list

Hi Gurus,
I have done generic custom extraction for Z totals table into BW . There is one Balance field in totals table which i need to bring in BW as beg balance period 0. so i mapped balance field in Z totals to the beg balance object in BW3.5. Also mapped the fiscper,fiscyer field inthe extract structure to the 0fiscper and 0fiscyear in transfer rules.
Strangely after my full load, am able to see the fiscper(mmm,yyyy) for 000.2005 after locking in the infopackage in the PSA. But when i update it to the data target (infocube) am NOT able to see the period column.
Also tried checking the update rules, locked the fiscper time characteristic tab to 000/2005 and tried. still the same problem.
Could any one help me in getting this period column inthe cube output list.

Problem to see the Room Extension

to create Room Extension. I can see as everything has upload correctly, but when i the Room Template Administration in the part Extension i don't see the Extension created.

WEIRD PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED WITH THE USER IN PRODUCTION

Hi All,
I have a bit weird issue out here to share with you guys also with the interest on the feedback.
In production & the specific user ID:
1. When User logs on with his/her credentials the output expected for the customised object is different with that of Q & D. Version comparison done no issues.
2. When user logs on & click on the display of program in SE38 or duble clicks the program to display in SE80 the entire SAP session logs off.
2. When user logs on with the same credentials on the other machine its OK & merry christmas.
3. When some other user logson the affected users machine its alrite.
4. The transaction which exists for other user throws the status message that it doesn't exists for the effected user on his/her machine.
any feedback/inputs on this?

I had this problem before, and the only way to fix it is, uninstall the entry SAPLogon and try to install it back. Try to install the same version that is working in the other computer.

Problem while calling the user exit

Hi All,
In one of the program one user exit is called. Before this user exit ther is one FM . If I copy the same function module with a new name Z* , this user exit is not getting triggered. The program is going till the point where CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '001' IS written but after that it's not going inside the user exit. But if I put back the original FM , this suer exit is getting triggered and it's gong inside the exit. I've activated the Project for this user exit also. As per our requirement I've to copy the original FM into Z* FM.But my doubt is when I put back the original FM , this User Exit is getting triggered whereas when I copied this FM it's not working .
Anybody could helpme out why it's happening ?

Yes it's related to the other post where I had to copy one standard Function Pool.While copying the function pool I copied the FMs also.This problem is coming out of one FM ,when I changed this to Z* at the place where it is called, the user exit which is written inside that FM is not getting triggered even though program is reaching till the point where this user exit is called .
Any clue ?

Not able to see the users in Authorization Policy Manager

I have configured a OID provider in the myrealm of weblogic for OES Server. I also added the following lines to jps-config.xml

Even then I cannot see any of the users from the OID through application policy manager.
Anybody aware of any other settings that need to be done ?
oes server version is 11.1.1.6. and OID is 11.1.1.5.

Where to see the user maintenance activity log (creation,deletion..)?

This should be a Basis question. But I only able to find this category (Netweaver AS) to write this post.
Our current user management engine is taken the user data source from the ABAP System (CRM system).
I know that I can do the user maintenance tasks through TCode: SU01.
I just wonder where I can see the log for all the user management activities, i.e. 1) User account creation; 2) user account deletion; 3) user profile modification and etc for particular period.
Another question, can I see this activity through portal too? Assuming I am having Super Admin role portal.

Hi Kent,
You can view the information in SU01-->Information----> change documents for the user your 1,2, and 3 can be viewed here.
This information you can't see in the portal even you had super user access.

See the user's hostname when doing transactions at any given time.

Hi SAP Experts,
I want to see the hostname it used the user when the user is executing a transaction at a particular date and month. And current condition Security Audit not active. Can I see this? I can see on tCode ST03N (1 month ago), but I can't see detail the hostname.
Do I need to enable Security Audit (SM19) if I want to track user activity? Is it necessary for security reasons?
Please advice for active strategy schedule Security Audit because if it is activated storage will fill up quickly.

Hi Marjan,
Without enabling the Security Audit, You can't find the required details like hostname/Terminal, User, Tcode/Report... Use SM19 to enable the Audit functionality and check for information in SM20.
Yes, Definitely storage will fill up if you activate this functionality but it will helps you alot.
If you are using Production Server, you must enable for security and audit purpose.
You can activate for Development, Quality and Test purpose systems, if required otherwise no need..
