Lync 2013 Attendant Response Group - Long Delay - Error ID 45019 LS Inbound Routing

Hello,
We have a customer who's using Lync Server 2013 with Response Groups and the SamRoxx Attendant Client. They are getting an error whereby calls made directly to users come through instantly, however attendants who take a call via the Response Group
get a 10 second delay. We are seeing
Error ID 45019 LS Inbound Routing
User ***@***.com provided a routing document with errors.
Default call handling was applied instead. Merge conflict. Wait total present in both preambles.
Problems with this user's routing documents will not be reported again for another hour.
Cause: A new or experimental user agent my have published a routing document with errors.
Resolution:
Replace the user agent that published the defective configuration.
Has anyone seen this before??
Thanks

Hi tomcotton,
You can try steps below to troubleshoot the problem.
1. Remove the affected Lync user from the Response Group and test whether the error persists.
2. I’m not aware of
the SamRoxx Attendant Client, can you use Lync 2013 client to test and check ?
Best regards,
Eric

  • Lync 2013 Client takes a long time to "restore" from taskbar

On many Windows 8 & 8.1 systems in our environment the Lync client will take anywhere from 2-10 seconds to pop up when clicked on in the taskbar.  The application is running, logged in, and active.  This is very frustrating to our userbase
as they will click on it multiple times and have it then act like a jackrabbit when it finally processes the requested actions.
The computers we have are brand new systems.  Happens on freshly installed & updated versions of Lync 2013.  Seems to be after the Lync client hasn't been clicked on, or utilized in a while.  Other applications pop up instantly (zero delay)
and without any problems, it only affects Lync.  I tried disabling UI animations such as fade, slide etc, which did nothing to help the issue.
This has me a bit stumped, and I'm wondering if this is a known issue or not?  Hopefully there is a solution?

I wouldn't say it's dismissive, I was asking for more information.  I wanted to know if it was potentially an overactive endpoint protection application or something similar, if it can't be reproduced on fresh build of Windows then something is interfering
and it's difficult to work out not knowing what all is installed.  Most people don't experience the issue so I imagine another piece of software may likely be conflicting.
I do agree that it's not an answer, at the least not very useful answer.  Occasionally items get marked as answer but they're more of a "closed" as the original poster never responds.
I'd suggest posting your issue in the Lync 2013 forums instead as people are less likely to watch this post now that it's already marked "answered".  Work through it and see what can be found, hopefully you'll find some good information which will be
    more helpful to others.

Outgoing traffic for 10.10.10.10 (LyncEDGE) on TCP 5061 need for federation
    4. DNS setup
We have split domain and DNS like this:
Company.local (Internal DNS) and Company.com (External DNS)
DNS Records in our External DNS:
    LyncEDGE.company.com record A 10.10.10.10
    LyncFE.company.com record A 10.10.10.11
    sip.comapny.com TLS --> LyncEDGE.copmany.com

    _sipinternaltls._tcp.company.com --> -> LyncEDGE.copmany.com
    lyncdiscover.company.com --> 10.10.10.10
In this setup works for now: Lync Audio Video, Mobile access. And now we trying setup Federation and Push notyfication and when we testing we get 504 form serwer.

  • Lync 2013 Step 3 - Prepare Current Forest Error

    Hello All;
We are trying to upgrade with a side by side migration but Both in Server 2012R2 and Server 2008R2 SP1 - I'm getting stuck at the same error.
    Our current environment;
    Domain.net
       company.domain.net
       farm.domain.net
Lync 2010 installed & running with user interaction on farm.domain.net.  "Lync2010.farm.domain.net"
Lync 2013 is trying to install on farm.domain.net as well "Lync2013.farm.domain.net"
I get to Step 3 running the setup on "Lync2013.farm.domain.net" and get the error:
Error: Computer is not a member of the root domain. For security reasons, this action must be run on a root domain computer.

Now I've tried the "Enable-CsAdForest -GroupDomain weblynx.net" in both admin powershell and admin lync powershell.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2549544/en-us
Googling is basically telling me the same thing but getting the same error.
    Any Ideas?

Are you running this part of the deployment from the root domain (domain.net) or just farm?  You'll need to run this step separately in the root, even if you're not deploying Lync servers there.

  • Lync 2013 Simple URLs Configuration (HTTP 404 Error in Browser)

    Hello All,
We have have many SIP domains, and want them to have separate Meet simple URLs and also want to minimize the DNS record and certificate requirements for these simple URLs.
So i have changed the default simple urls configuration as defined in below link:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398287.aspx
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg425874.aspx
    Simple URL Naming Option 3
    Simple URL
    Example
    Meet
    https://lync.contoso.com/contosoSIPdomain/Meet
    https://lync.contoso.com/fabrikamSIPdomain/Meet
    Dial-in
    https://lync.contoso.com/Dialin
    Admin
    https://lync.contoso.com/Admin
After changing the configuration now i getting below error on all URLs:
HTTP Error 404.0 - Not FoundThe resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable
Topology is properly published and Enable-CSComputer
    is also run on SHELL.
Get-CsSimpleUrlConfiguration is also showing new Simple URLs and I have also generated a new certificate.
But still new simple URLs (dialin, meet , admin)are giving HTTP Error 404 in browser.
Also default old urls https://meet.domain.xx.xx are still working.

I have restart the server and also restart IIS service. DNS has A record entry for lync.contoso.com.
But still all three below Urls are giving HTTP 404 error.
    Meet
    https://lync.contoso.com/contosoSIPdomain/Meet
    https://lync.contoso.com/fabrikamSIPdomain/Meet
    Dial-in
    https://lync.contoso.com/Dialin
    Admin
    https://lync.contoso.com/Admin
And old default urls  are still opening. CNAME for meet, Dailin and admin is still in DNS.
    meet : https://meet.contoso.com
    <label class="errorbold" id="errorTextLabel15" style="display:block;">We're having trouble getting you into the meeting.</label>
<label class="errorregular" id="checkUrlLabel15" style="display:block;">It's possible you're using a bad URL. Try calling into the meeting using the phone number on the invite, or ask the organizer to drag you into the meeting from the Contacts list.</label>

  • Delay in the Response Group Rining / Call Pickup from another Extension

    Dear All,
We have just finished a deployment of Lync 2013 with Sonus 1000 as the Mediation Gateway, we have deloyed polycom VVX 600 phones,
We have two lines E1 and 5 Fxo lines (with same Pilot Number)
I would like the Receptionist to have both E1 DID number and FXO number and her phone to ring when the calls comes from DID line as well as FXO,
    I have the below scenario
    1) Currently the setup is that Receptionist is configured with the E.164 DID number : (Line URI is Tel:+971XXXX500;ext=500), which work perfectly fine
    2) We have added receptionist in Response Group , and setting are (Formal,10 sec , Attendant)
    The issue :
    1) Call forwarding does not work on Response Group (which is by design it self)
    2) When a call comes from the outside to FXO it goes to response group , (there is Music played and the ring on reception is delayed by 2-3 secs) ,
Customer does not want this delay , it should ring immediately with no music,
    3) If the receptionist moves from one location to any other location to another , she should have the ability to remotely perform call forward to that extension by simply dialing few codes on the phone ( I already told customer
about PIN based authentication, by customer does like the idea of signing in or signing out)
    In DIRE NEED OF HELP,
    Regards,
    Hasan Reza,

    Hi,
Did the issue only happen for IP Phone in Response Group or also happen for Lync client in Response Group?
If the issue only happen for IP Phone, it seems to be an known issue. Please Make sure Lync Server update to the latest version and then test again.

  • Response Group: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server.

    Hi all,
I have three central sites with each having a Front End server pool (standard).
Site A and Site B are paired for resiliency. Site C is on its own.
On two of my Front Ends (Site A and Site B), when I click on response group tab i get the following warning on the top of the page:
"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
(provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)"
I have check out the following articles about dont think they apply to me:
    http://unifiedme.co.uk/2014/01/network-related-instance-specific-error-occurred-accessing-lync-control-panel-response-group-tab/
I dont see any Event logs that would direct me to a cause.
Which database it is complaining about? RGSDYN and RGSCONFIG are local databases as it is an standard installation. What could be the possible cause for this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

My latest change was the addition of Site C.
Going through logs (i must have missed it the first time, with all the noisy EWS errors), i found event ID 31147. I am investigating network issues although I have MPLS running to that location.
Does Lync set up open correct ports on the machine itself?

  • Precision for Capacity Planning for Response Group Lync 2010

    Hi,
    does anyone have
    information on the following points:
Concurrent calls connected to IVR or MoH
    480
60 --> I think that each FE can support 60 simultaneous calls on the MOH
    Concurrent anonymous sessions (without IM)
    224
28 --> I think that each FE can support 28 simultaneous calls on different RGS/agents
    Active agents (formal and informal)
    1200
1200 - -> It's the maximum of actives agents for RGS. But does I have to count 3 connections if a person is active for 3 RGS?
    Thanks for your help
    Marc

Concurrent calls connected to IVR or MoH > 480 that mean per enterprise pool it support 480 simultaneous call to IVR but enterprise pool must contain at least 8 Front End.
Concurrent anonymous sessions (without IM) > 224 same as previous, that mean enterprise pool support 224 simultaneous call on different agent.
Active agents (formal and informal) > 1200, It's the maximum of actives agents for RGS and yes, you will have 3 connection for 3 RGS.
Each hunt group is associated with a different Response Group application queue, but each queue is associated with the same agent group comprised of three agents. The total number of possible active agents on this Enterprise Edition pool is three (1 agent
group x 3 unique agents in that group).

  • Inbound calls to response group - failed

    Hi!
I have a problem with inbound calls to Response group from external phones. But calls from Lync client to Response Group are working without problem. And calls from external phones to Lync users perfectly working too.
I found this alert in event viewer
Event 31172 LS response group service
The workflow runtime encountered an error while connecting the call.
The workflow runtime encountered a critical error.
    Failure occurrences: 2, since 27/06/2013 9:20:18 PM.
The last encountered error was from a workflow having the display name: Group2, the URI: sip:[email protected], and
    the GUID: 12ee27bf-15ab-4cc9-8265-57a08f17ac5b.
Exception: Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.OperationTimeoutException - This operation has timed out.
    Inner Exception: -
I hope for your help!!! Thanks!!

    Hi,
Here is a similar case for your reference. Try to remove NAT and have the SIP line connect direct to Lync Server.

  • Migrating Response Groups

    Hi everyone,
Migrating from lync 2010 to lync 2013 using this guide http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj204854.aspx
Now i have run the Move-CsRgsConfiguration
command and now i can see the response group created in lync 2013 and still exist in lync 2010 for roll back purposes as the guide specified.
Now i want to turn of the lync 2010 sql, so how can i decommission the
old lync response groups in lync 2010 before i remove the whole lync 2010
    ammarhasayen

I would not remove the Workflows from 2010. The article states "If any Lync Server 2010 response groups have been migrated to a Lync Server 2013 deployment, do not remove the contact objects of the migrated response groups. If you remove the contact object
of a migrated response group, the new response group will stop working. The response groups that remained in Lync Server 2010 after the migration will be removed when the Lync Server 2010 deployment is decommissioned."
If you remove the Service Contact Object, it will be removed from AD and the workflow will no longer be valid. When you decomision 2010 server, the duplicates will no longer appear.

  • Kicked Out of Response Group When Status is Away

    Lync 2010:
When switchboard staff enable the Response Group for Main-Line incoming calls and their Lync status changes to "Away," they do not receive the incoming calls.  Sometimes the switchboard staff are at their desks but not active on their
computers; so, how do we change the setting so that they receive incoming main-line calls no matter what their Lync status is?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Please check the Routing method in the Agent Group setting:
To offer a new call to each agent in turn, click Round robin.
To always offer a new call to the agents in the order in which they are listed in the Agent list, click Serial.
To offer a new call to all agents who are signed into Lync Server 2010 and the Response Group application at the same time, regardless of their current presence, click Attendant. Lync 2010 Attendant users who are configured as agents can see all the calls
that are waiting and answer waiting calls in any order. The call is sent to the first agent who accepts it, and the other Lync 2010 Attendant users no longer see the call.

the lync server is also already on 2013.
with the old 2010 lync client, it was possible to click on a name from a lync contact card and this directed to the users mysite, which was great. to archieve this, we updates the wwwHomepage attribute in AD with the corresponding link for each user to the

now with lync 2013 it is no longer possible.

Lync 2013 on Android devices is giving error after every 5 minute "your server configuration has changed. Please restart Lync".
Calls gets dropped when this error occurs.
we are using server 2012 R2 as reverse proxy and have changed the Proxy time out for External web service URL to 960 secs with no luck.

    Hi M.Irfan84,
I would like to confirm the following information.
    1. Do we have run “iisreset /noforce” to apply the change?
    2. And does this issue only impact on Android device?
    Best regards,
