Agree with Anthony Caragol.
Base on my knowledge, Lync Server 2013 can't integration with Blackboard Learn naturally.
It may be achieved with Lync Server SDK. You can also post a case on MSDN forum and there are more developing experts will help to confirm it. Thanks for your understanding.

Does Adobe Connect 8 support all web browsers when integrated with Blackboard Learn?

When using Safari I get authenticated by Blackboard Learn, but when I attempt to create or enter a meeting, I'm continuously returned to the login screen to authenticate again.

I downloaded safari and tested to see wether I could log in and I had no problem. I created a virtual classroom and entered that too.... No problem. Is it not your firewall? If you can do everything else in AC (Adobe Connect) and the only problem is the virtual classroom can it not be the firewall? Do you use port 1935 for streaming the content in a virtual classroom? ... mmmm .... even if port 1935 were blocked it would not take you to the login page... mmm.. scrap that idea.
If anything I am able to connect to a virtual classroom via safari.

Lion OS incompatible with Blackboard Learning System - how do I revert to OS 10.6?

Hi, I've just found out that my newly downloaded Lion OS is incompatible with my school's learning system (Blackboard). They are only compatible with 10.6. Any way I can work around this, or do I need to revert to 10.6? Thanks!

We have been receiving many phone calls from Mac users not being able to view PDF, Word, and similar documents held within learning modules. This is a compatibility issue with the Adobe Reader plugin and the current MacOS browsers that Blackboard supports (FireFox, Safari). The only potential work around until the browsers catch up to this new plug-in is to make sure all instructors set these types of files open in a new tab. There is no known timeframe when this bug will be fixed.

First, thank you in advance for your patience. Is there someplace I can go to learn about how Creative Cloud may be used with BlackBoard?

I am interested in what I might accomplish via PDF documents uploaded to BlackBoard. I have tried other products, and they are unstable to the point of being frustrating. I want to know what can I put in to a self-contained PDF for my students. I love what I see in Creative Cloud. Before I invest, is it even possible to do what I am describing?

I haven't used Blackboard products myself so can't really speak to how well they work with Adobe products or products included with a Creative Cloud membership. These are the Blackboard products you're referencing right?

As far as the capabilities of a self contained PDF, I believe you can create interactive PDF files with some of the following features InDesign Help | Dynamic PDF documents

Another Adobe product that came to mind in relation to your question is Captivate, probably as part of the Technical Communications Suite (different offering than Creative Cloud) - Author, Enrich & Publish XML/DITA content| Technical Communication Suite 5
I'm not sure how these would integrate with Blackboard, so you might have to investigate further from their side too.

When publishing a course to Tin Can format, what should I enter in the 'Identifier' field?

Good way to start with the learning the 11g concepts

I have a work experience on the BEA weblogic server 8.1 sp4 on which i have worked for about 2 year now. My current assignment requires working with the Installation/ Development and deployment in the Fusion middleware 11g server. Could some body please suggest me a good way to start with the learning the 11g concepts.
I understand that all the documentations are available in the Oracle forum, but i want to understand where to start from.
my core tasks in the assignment would be
1. installation (OSB on top of WLS).
2. development/configuration on OSB.
3. Deployment and administrative tasks.

Hi thanks for the update. I have been going through the links and found them very useful.
I have few new doubts.
In all the tutorials for getting started with the Fusion middleware, the examples which are given use the Oracle JDeveloper extensively. This IDE is used for implementing the BEPL and other important aspects. I found this very similar to the Workshop IDE initially bundled with the BEA-Weblogic 8.1. Is JDeveloper enhanced to accomodate the features of the Weblogic Workshop IDE?
Also, i need some information regarding the Eclipse IDE which is bundled with the OSB installation. Are there any tutorials available which show how to use the Eclipse IDE with OSB.
Also, can the Eclipse IDE be used to implement the same set of components which are being developed using the JDeveloper in the tutorials.
My concern here is i want to know the best way to start with the training/development. I am already familiar with the Eclipse IDE and donot want to switch to the JDeveloped unless it is absolutely necessary. Can one of these IDE be used repeacebly in place of other.
Please inform me if in case my wuestion is not clear.

Anyone ever worked with the learning iview/BSP

I am having a difficult time with the learning iview, I am not able to get SSO working and it defaults to a client other than the one I want to use.
Error message: No authorization to log on as a trusted system (Trusted RC=2). ( type of termination: RABAX_STATE )
AND
Error message: Exception condition "SYSTEM_FAILURE" raised. ( type of termination: RABAX_STATE )

That's not too much to ask although I wouldn't think it makes any difference - but who knows.
So I disconnected the USB drive and trie3d the mouse via the keyboard - no go
Then connected the keyboard to the Mini directly without the extension cable - no go
So if I connect the mouse to a Mini USB port directly it works fine, if I connect it to a USB port on the keyboard it doesn't work at all - the pointer just sit there and doesn't move. Tried clicking with the left and right button and operating the scroll wheel, nothing works. It's an optical mouse, LED is on the way it should be.
The three mice that don't work are all brand new, I just bought them at two different places and they are all different brands - the Kensington mouse which I had used with my previous keyboard works via the keyboard USB hub but freezes occasionally which it never did with the previous Apple keyboard.
If the mouse work when connected to the Mini directly it should work when connected to a keyboard USB port, after all, that's what they are there for - to connect a mouse.

Disappointed: Safari 3 Still Lacks Functionality with Blackboard 6 Softwar

I was hoping the new version of Safari would fix a limited functionality issue with Blackboard 6 software. I teach online and my campus (plus hundreds of others across the U.S.) heavily use Blackboard software to disseminate course information. I believe they are now owned by WebCT.
I had to quit using Safari as my main web browser when the campus upgraded from Blackboard 5 to 6 because I could no longer use Blackboard's special font characteristic buttons or the button to insert a URL within an announcement or discussion board post.
I realize this may seem like a minor issue but it is an important one when teaching online. I have tested both Firefox and IE Explorer and both work fine with Blackboard. Because Safari 2.x.x (and now 3.x.x) doesn't not support this functionality within Blackboard, I'm forced to use Firefox for now.
Any idea when Apple might fix this issue?

I've tried to modify the example of "multiple geometric patterns matching" , and just use two patterns, but when I run the VI this error appear and I doon't know how to solve it! , the error appears in the "IMAQ Learn multiple geometric patterns" block.
Running on:
- labview 32 bits
- windows 7 64 bits
- usb camera 2.0
Any sugestion would be helpful..... ! Regards

thanks all for your replies, the problem was on my template images, I had to give them information about the pattern matching, and I did it with NI Vision Template Editor, within Vision utilities, and I chose template with Feature Based.

When will Firefox 6. be compatible with Blackboard?

Your newest version of Firefox will not allow me to login to Blackboard. I am an instructor using Blackboard to teach online. The previous version worked well with Blackboard.

1. Firefox 4.0 includes the Sync feature, not need for the Firefox Sync extension.
2. Check with Nokia for an update for whatever Ovi Suite uses to interface with Firefox, like an extension or plugin. Addon developers are responsible for keeping their stuff compatible with Firefox updates.

When will your latest & greatest version be compatible with Blackboard 9.1?

The only version of Firefox that is currently compatible with Blackboard 9.1 is Firefox 3.6

That is up to Blackboard to catch up with the Firefox releases.

Only a very small number of very expensive high-end gaming and engineeering workstation laptops have plug in video cards. Yours is not one of them. The video soldered to your motherboard is a type of video chip also delivered as a desktop video card and maybe as a plug in card for those few laptops. Again, not for yours.
