  • How to adjust Lyrics Font Size

I have been using ipod nano and the small font sizes for lyrics are just fine for that small screen. Now I am using ipod video 60GB and find the font sizes on menus and song lists are larger and much easier to read on the larger screen.
The font size of English lyrics are larger than nano and is much more comfortable to view. However the Chinese lyrics no matter "Traditional" or "Simplified" are just way too small to look at and always wasted much of the screen with empty space.
Is there any way that we can adjust the font size of the Chinese lyrics or we just hope that Apple will improve that on their next firmware upgrade.

  • Cambodia (Khmer) font on iPod nano?

Hi everybody here, i would like to know if it is possible to add a additional font into an iPod? Since there is no official Khmer font for Mac, iPod and iPhone. In iPhone and iPod touch, in order to display this font we have to install a package.
Windows 7 officially able to display Khmer font without the need of third party software.

i would like to know if it is possible to add a additional font into an iPod?
No, you cannot add anything at all to an iPod except what you find in the iTunes app store, and no fonts are available there.
Tell Apple you want it here:

I pasted Arabic lyrics onto the Lyrics tab of a song.  However, the font is too small to read easily.
Can someone please tell me how to change lyrics font size?

See if either of these provide help:

  • Ipod font size?

Which current version of the iPod (Classic, Touch, or Nano) has the largest font size? Also, do any of them have adjustable font sizes? I would like to know because I am looking to buy a gift. Sorry if this is the wrong board, and thanks for your help.

Which current version of the iPod (Classic, Touch, or Nano) has the largest font size?
It depends. In some instances, the Touch has larger (and bolder) fonts. In the artist/song menu for instance, the font is larger than the Classic or nano, but in the albums menu of the Touch, the font is slightly smaller.
Overall, the fonts on the Touch are slightly larger and bolder and probably more suitable for someone with impaired vision (if this is your thinking).
do any of them have adjustable font sizes?
    No.

  • File size of Notes on iPod nano?

    Hello,
my question is about the file size of notes to be handled by the iPod nano.
I have copied several ASCII text-files into the Notes folder of my iPod nano. Each has a size of approx. 20 kByte. Windows Explorer shows them in the iPod Notes folder with their original size.
However, when opening one of the text files on the iPod nano, text is only displayed until approx. 700 words (approx. 4000 characters), which corresponds to approx. 4 kByte. The larger rest of the file is not displayed, as if it was cut.
    Is this an error?
Or is 4 kByte the max. size of text files which can be displayed as notes on the iPod nano?
I have updated the iPod nano firmware recently with release 1.1.
Thanks in advance for any help!

There is an online utility for doing this - will save you tons of time AND adds links so you go from one section of the larger file to the next:
    http://www.ambience.sk/ipod-ebook-creator/ipod-book-notes-text-conversion.php
Until they inprove the file size that the iPods can read, this is your only real way to use your iPod as an ebook reader.

  • Can I change iTunes & iPod display font (not font size) for selected files only?

I loaded a Russian classical music CD into iTunes and iPod. On the original CD, titles, names etc. are written in cyrillic alphabet.  Once I loaded the CD into iTunes and on iPod this info was displayed unreadably in western alphabet.  Example:  "Èæå õåðóâèìû..." (Í. Ãîëîâàíîâ)Õîð È.
I have cyrillic font on my Windows 7 computer.  Can I change the display font--for only these selected iTunes music files--to the cyrillic font?  Thanks!

Does any one know how you can adjust the font size (point size) for the file
    names.
Sadly enough you can't chance that, feel free to add a feature request for
that, the more there ask for the bigger chance it will be realized.
It would be great if the colors for the image name (background and font color)
could be changed so the contrast could also be increased so it is also easier
    to read.
And this the cheerful part, go to Bridge preferences General tap and play
with the sliders for user interface and Image Backdrop until your satisfied.
BTW using the slider for thumbnail size bottom right of the Bridge window to
increase the thumbs does not increase the font but makes it nevertheless a
    little clearer.

  • How do I set up minimum font size for mail messages in iPod touch 5G?

According to the iPod touch User Guide for iOS 6:
Set the minimum mail message font size: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Minimum Font Size
But in "Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars" I don't see the "Minimum Font Size" option.

  • How to increase font size in Contacts on ipod Touch?

My aging eyes are having a hard time reading the contact info on my ipod Touch 2G. Is there a way to increase the font size in Contacts?

This answer definitely isn't as neat as the Large Type option in OS X Address Book but if you connect to iTunes then choose Configure Universal Access on the Summary tab, then on then iPod touch go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > On. You can then double tap with three fingers on the screen to zoom in. Use three fingers touching the screen to pan around and double-tap with three fingers touching to zoom out again.
The other way would be to tap Edit in the top right in Contacts and the number appears a little bigger.

  • IPod Nano Disk Drive Size

I'd like to buy an iPod Nano or mini with speakers for everyday use and riding on a horse. What's the largest size hard drive available on the Nano? Also, how well will it work on my horse. What am I getting into here? He's being taught Classical Dressage to Music. Horse riding is the major reason I'm buying an iPod.

Maybe it's just that the black shows the scratches much more than the white of a standard iPod. I don't have one to compare - this is my first ever Apple purchase. Needless to say I am NOT impressed. It's a very elegant design, but a poor build.
I spent my lunchtime cruising around all the CD stores in town trying to find one that sold the special solution you can buy to hard-coat CD's so that they are scratch-resistant. (CD's are made of polycarbonate too.) Didn't find one yet, but I'll keep looking.

  • I can't change the lyrics of songs in my iPod nano 6th gen

I'm using a 6th generation iPod, and I can't seem to change the lyrics in my iPod.
When I download my music files from melon.com (a legal korean music download site), it already has the lyrics uploaded in the melon site uploaded onto the music file. However, the lyrics uploaded onto the music file aren't accurate, so I go to 'get info'->'lyrics' and change the lyrics to a more accurate one. Then, I upload that to my iPod, but it doesn't show the change on my iPod. The change is made when I connect it to the computer, but it doesn't show on the iPod. Also, the lyrics has spaces between the lines when I never entered any.
Can you look into this problem?

Double check to make sure the headphones are plugged ALL the way in meaning the white part of the headphones is flush with the Nano and no silver from the plug can still be seen.
The new headphone jacks are a bit tigher than previous generations and require a little bit of extra force to get the headphones to fully connect.

  • Huge font in iTunes when syncing iPod nano

Whenever I try to sync my iPod nano 2nd gen. the font in iTunes gets huge, and I can't figure out how to get it normal. It does not do it with my iPhone. Anybody else experience this and figure out how to get the font back to normal? Oh, and it's not the font for the whole page, just the top and left side, and when I click on the device and go to my information everything is huge there, too.
I have the most updated version of iTunes also.
    Help! And thank you.

Have you tried restoring your iPod? Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes
