im not sure how to view my lyrics on my ipod i know how to put them on my ipod but when im listing to music i dont know how to see them

Music Editing Lyrics help !

Hello everyone..
So i have figured out how to import my mp3 files.. im trying to clean up the language in some of the songs so i can play them at a few dances im dj;ing.... if figured out how to cut out the bad words... but i need a sound effect to play so its just not a blank.....
most of the songs are hip hop or rap or dance kind of stuff... so im looking for some sounds that are dj scratches or whatever, so it sounds like ive edited it right on the spot and sounds cool...
im sure garage band has some of these, but i have no idea where they are... ive found the sound effect list by clicking the "eye button" at the bottom it brings up all the sound loops, but i have no idea where the dj tools would be... or those kidns of sounds....
please help ASAP thanks! much apreaciated

IPhone Lyrics help please~

Been trying to put some lyrics on my Iphone 4, and it's totally not working. Read several threads and made sure I went through the appropriate processes as well as having the 'Lyrics and Podcast Info' slide to ON. Tapped the album cover, still not nothing.
What do you guys suggest it might be?
NOTE: I am trying to put some Japanese lyrics, but that REALLY shouldn't matter right?..I mean apart from English music listeners I'm sure other people would want to see lyrics to their songs time to time??

Seems like I pasted the lyrics to the ringtone version, Itunes didn't recognize them as being the same thing so it didn't work.
But it's all good now!

Bigger lyrics display in ipod / ipad please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a singer. I sing with backing tracks using an ipod. I was excited to find you can enter the lyrics in the song information and have it displayed. I got an ipad thinking, with a bigger display, I could do away with my lyrics folder, and have the lyrics come up at the same time as I play the backing track. I am so disappointed with how small the font is displayed, and there seems no way to zoom it or increase the font. I have been searching apps to see if there is anything to fix this issue. I can only find apps for downloading lyrics. I already have the lyrics!! I just want them to be displayed bigger!
There must be a solution for this! Can somebody please help me?!

Flash is required for most YouTube content.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Now open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, go back to System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced then click Check Now. There may be a Flash update available.

It is not possible to scroll any Lyrics in Mainstage.
You could possibly use one 'page' of lyrics per patch, and change Patches for the next lot of lyrics?

X6 Help! Music Lyrics & File Transfers

Hello,
I would like to know how to view the lyrics of a song.
I currently use Ovi Player to add lyrics to my songs then transfer the songs to my mobile, can I view the lyrics of these songs???
Or do I have to save the lyrics in my PC's notepad and then transfer the note to my mobile?
I tried transferred the notes but I can't see them in my mobile...

I have a smiliar problem. Sometimes my iPod just gets "stuck" on the upload of certain songs (always different songs). It will just stay uploading the same song forever! so I have to unplug my iPod (even though it says "do not disconnect") and force quit iTunes. A few times I have had to force a shut down of my computer and twice when I did that all of my Favorite on FireFox dissapeared, my desktop was the default blue, my tool bar was defalut and my iTunes library was missing! I got all the songs back, but had to spend HOURS re-doing all of the playlists and then re-uploading everthiing to my iPod.
I avoided this the latest time by only uploading one playlist at a time, but it was very time consuming and still got "stuck" twice!
Any suggestions?? I have the extended protection plan on my computer and ipod...

I'm not sure if the right click will work. I instead will click on a song and select "get info", then choose the lyric tab.
-Isn't that exactly what she said she did?
Does the lyrics pane come up empty on the iPod, or does it go straight from artwork to ratings and completely skip the lyics?

I Need Help Using Lyrics

I have ipod classic. I put just a couple lyrics on it. They loaded fine for a while, but then they would stay for just a couple seconds, then go back to the now playing screen. What am I doing wrong and is there a way to fix it, so I can veiw the lyrics. Thanks!

In your *iTunes Library* , select the song to which you want to add lyrics. Then either, click on *File/Get Info* or right click (the song) and click on *Get Info* . In the window that appears you will see several tabs (Summary, Info, Sorting, Options, Lyrics and Artwork), click on the Lyrics tab. You can then paste or type in the lyrics to the lyrics box.
If you are syncing your iPod, the lyrics will transfer the next time you sync. If you manually manage your iPod, you probably need to remove the song from the iPod, then add the lyrics and put the song back on to the iPod.
Once the lyrics are on the iPod, play the song and then press the select button (the centre one) several times to cycle through the options until you get to lyrics. Note that the lyrics option will not show up unless you have lyrics for that song.

Help for Lyrics in Score problems.

Words will not stay in alignment with notes above them, when the next word is added. If I try to correct or adjust the position the notes will then move away. If I ignore the movement I can finish up with some measures two or three times the required size. Also the cursor disappears after "tabbing" the entries, forcing re-use of the lyric box quite often and it is completely impossible to insert words with more than one syllable which would need to be hyphenated. What am I doing wrong? or is it the program at fault? I used to have no problem with Notator on an Atari, and other programs on a PC.
At least I don't have hackers with my Mac Pro.

I'm afraid you're going about this all wrong. And you're missing the entire point of the lyric entry function, which is to apply/assign/connect each word or syllable to individual notes. I dunno, but I sense a lot of frustration in your posts, and I think it has to do with not having read the manual. Short of that, I've already explained to you in my several posts how lyric entry works, and how you can make it work.
But just to be a bit more complete about it, you don't have to drag drag drag drag drag the lyric entry 'symbol' to the score each time. You drag it ONCE, and then hit TAB after you type in the first lyric/syllable. TAB advances the lyric entry function to the next note. And so on.
OR, if you mess up and lyric entry stops, either:
• drag the lyric symbol again and continue, OR...
• assign the pencil tool to the CMD key. Hold CMD and select "lyric". If you mess up, simply hold CMD and pencil in a new lyric entry start point.
Basic techniques. RTFM. But if you're not willing to accept these simple paradigms then you should probably look to some other software.

Need help with a lyrics video

Ok so I am having a problem with a lyrics video I am making, my very first. I have looked up camera tutorials on youtube and still can not solve the problem. It is very hard for me to explain it in text so I made this short video in which I explain the problem, please if you have the time watch it and maybe you can tell me what is the problem

Your video shows the problem but not much of how you are rigging your camera. I think you have made the camera moves much too complicated. It's always best to think of the AE camera as if it were a real camera on a stage. Think of your 3D layers as actors. If it is easier to move the actors than the camera then move the actors. You have created a very complex 3D set where the camera must fly up and over and around in a large arc. I would have just put a 3D null in the center of the text layers, made it the parent, then animated the null. Any camera moves would have been a simple dolly in and out or a short truck right and left.
If you want to keep the current setup and figure out what is going on with the camera then open up multiple views so you can see what is going on with the camera moves. I've never used SureTarget so I don't know how it functions but I suspect that something like gimbal lock is happening or your orientation is being fouled up because the camera is going over the top and then ending up upside down on the other side of the text layers.

Lyrics look fine on iTunes, but funny on iPod. Please help

So I've been taking the time to put lyrics to my songs in iTunes. It's fulfilling, but tedious all at the same time. Anyway, I'm having an issue with the way the lyrics appear on the iPod (its a 5G Video, by the way). Here's an example. In iTunes, the lyrics appear like this:
"Brother will kill brother
Spilling blood across the land
Killing for religion
Something I don't understand
Fools like me, who cross the sea
And come to foreign lands
Ask the sheep, for their beliefs
Do you kill on God's command?"
However, on the iPod itself, the lyrics appear continuously like so:
"Brother will kill brother Spilling blood across the land Killing for religion Something I don't understand Fools like me, who cross the sea And come to foreign lands Ask the sheep, for their beliefs Do you kill on God's command?"
I am somewhat OCD, and this issue is absolutely driving me crazy. I've searched Google and these forums (they're a bit difficult to navigate) and I've found nothing on this specific topic. Sorry if I've missed it. But if anyone has any answers, can you please send them my way.

Phil, thanks for the input. I originally used a lyrics importer program to get the lyrics, so I'm not sure the exactly how it decided to format the imported lyrics. As you mentioned, I went to manually edit the lyrics of the songs. I went to the end of each verse, hit delete twice to get rid of one empty space and then pull the next verse up, and then hit return immediately afterwards to put the next verse back where it should normally go. After I synced the iPod, it came up normally as it should.

Widgets-- help me find the iTunes lyrics widget

hello, .. i used to have a great iTunes widget where when a song that was playing on my iMac from iTunes, and i was wondering about the lyrics as the song was playing, i could push the center button on the mouse and the widgets would come on the screen and the one widget i just loved was that i could see the lyrics of the song that was loaded as the song was playing. It was pretty cool but for some reason the widget wasn't loading songs being played anymore so i got rid of it. But i want it back again, ... or a better one... can anyone suggest a good iTunes widget in terms of lyrics? (...but i don't mean a lyrics search widget.....i also have looked at the available widgets in this regard and nothing seems to fit the bill.....)

OK wise guys... the person is asking for advice. I have been through several of these lyrics widgets and none of them are as good as "Sing that iTunes" which doesn't seem to be working anymore (I assume thats the same one the OP had). I was looking for a replacement and am stumped.. yes, even after a search on Google.
Does anyone have experience with a widget that automatically finds the songs and puts the lyrics automatically into iTunes?
