Lyrics on iTunes - "Loading lyrics..." message, but no text
I like entering lyrics in on my music files. So, I do it the normal way - open iTunes, get info on a music track, then highlight the Lyrics part of the long bar that also has "Video," "Sorting," "Options," etc.
After I'm finished syncing and launching my Touch, I can play my music - with lyrics on the screen. But with some text-intensive tunes, I get a "Loading lyrics..." message. But the lyrics never come.
Is there a limit to the amount of text in a music file? How can I handle this "error"?
I have the same problem.
It seems that the amount of text is not a factor.
I've found this (rather rigorous) work-around to work:
1. Command-click the song in iTunes and select the option "Convert ID3 Tags..."
2. Select ID tag version 1.1 and click OK.
The unfortunate side-effect is that, with the lyrics, you also lose the album art, so you may want to copy that out first.
3. repeat step 1
4. Now select ID tag version 2.4
5. Add the lyrics (I use Doug Adams' 'Lyrics via LyricWiki') and re-add the artwork.
6. Sync your iPod
I suspect that the root-cause may be some obscure characters being pasted into the lyrics that you can't see, but that causes the iPod to fail loading the lyrics.

It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other. -
Itunes loads main page but will not open anything else
the main page for itunes opens but if i click on something like a song that is under the most downladed category or a movie under the rental category it says it loads but never goes to it no matter how long i leave it.
Hello crawford1968, your efforts are appreciated! Was there any physical or water damage on the phone? The factory reset is the last resort option. Have you tried letting the phone's battery drain and then charge the device to see if the power on will respond? We can definitely look into replacement options since the device is not responding. I have itunes loaded...but can't pull it up. HELP!!!!
I can't get itunes to pull up on my computer. From what I can tell it downloaded fine...but when I click on the icon it pulls up this: "itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close".
What can I do to fix this?????????
I've had a brand new ipod for 24 hours and it still has zero songs on it.......Help!!!!!!I figured that my problems were from a virus.....so I have spent all of the day cleaning up and getting rid of any virus problems or cookies that could be messing things up.
I did try re-install the program and I did notice something this time around. When it was loading the Quicktime portion of the program it stopped and a box came up saying: "Quicktime installation failed. Error Code: -3"
The only thing I could do is click OK. Well after that it actted like it loaded just fine and the desktop icon came up. But when I click on it I get the "....problem and needs to close."
What's the deal Apple? Help us out here. -
My iphone says "load new messages" but they wont download
my phone says i have 47 new messages and starts to download but then stops. it is driving me mad.

"No Camera Found" Message when iTunes Loads
I have a new iPhone 3Gs and when I connect to my Macbook and iTunes loads, this message always pops up. "No Camera Found" When I load iPhoto, however, the images on the phone appear and can be imported with no problem. Doesn't present a problem, but am curious what is going on.
I had the same issue. Try opening Image Capture in Applications, go to preferences and then change the program that opens when a camera is connected to no application.

Activesync not letting me "load more messages"
I have an active sync account setup with my gmail account that's not showing more than about 20 or so emails in my inbox. I should be able to scroll down to the bottom of the list and click a line that says "load more messages" but that button does not appear. If I set the account inactive in settings and view the same email using IMAP I get the link and I can see more message over and over.
This is frustrating because I'd rather use active sync for push email like I do on my iPhone using this same account. Anyone else seen this? If it makes a difference, my gmail is actually my own domain email using google apps.kensei, I looked at my sync settings and I was only setup for 3 days on mail, but after setting this to no limit, mail seemed to download and download and I could scroll and scroll through the emails.
It's a half fix. While I can now see more email messages, if I had let it go, it might well have downloaded several thousand messages. I stopped and set the sync to 1 month. This result differs from the iPhone in that on the iPhone, it shows me a certain number and at the bottom get the "Load More Messages". Here, I only get that if I use imap.
Finally, as far as the Exchange settings go, it's google gmail, so although they use active sync, I really doubt they are using an exchange server. Either way, this same account behaves differently than it does on my iPhone. -
Cant see the indication "load more messages"
hi everyone! when i read my mail, i cant load any more by scrolling down. i remember that before, when i scrolled down, i could see "load more messages", but cant see it any more.
any help pls?It could be that your internet is lagging. Try to disconnect and connect to the internet again. Then open a browser to make sure the internet is working.

Yahoo mail will not, "Load More Messages" on iPhone 3gs
When I go into my Yahoo mail account using the iPhone's mail app, scroll down to the bottom of my list in my inbox, and press the, "Load More Messages" button it will not load more. It's really making me upset. Anyone else having this problem? I have more messages to load but it just refuses to load them. Please help!

On my Yahoo account there is still and option to load more messages, but when I push it, it sadly still fails to load anymore messages. Question? Do the messages have to be unread for them to load? This is really starting to bug me because I can't go back and look at my old emails.
Also with my hotmail account it still will not even give me the option to load more messages. It's really frustrating.
And a final note: I tried to add my yahoo account on my wife's iPhone and it behaved exactly the same way (meaning it would give me the option to load more messages but when I asked it to, none would load)

Issue with load more messages feature
Hi, I'm new to the Iphone 3Gs and I have notice a strange behavior the the "load more messages" feature.
I've setup my mail account with Gmail and everythings works fine. My mail setting is set to show the 25 more recent messages.
When I go to my inbox and press "load more messages", it loads 25 more messages so thats makes it 50. I've notice that my inbox will now show 50 messages until a power off/on cycle, than it shows the 25 more recent messages again as stated in the mail settings.
Here's my problem. The imap folder "All Mail" from Gmail does not work like this. Everytime I hit "load more messages" in that folder it loads more messages but never reset to 25 after power off. Now that folder shows over 100 messages.
Is there a way to reapply the show settings to that folder ? Only thing that works that I found is to delete the account.
thanks for your help.Hey man, your problem sounds similar to the one I'm having. I can't load more messages on both of my email accounts. But I think I might have figured out the problem. I recently re-installed my hotmail account and when I was looking through my,"Unread" inbox the, "Load more messages" command was working just fine. So I was continuing to go through my messages to make them read (because if your like me, I don't like to have any messages, "Unread." So when all my messages were read there was about 80 in total, and my setting was set to show the 25 most recent. So I backed out of the mail app, did a few more things and came back hoping that there would only be 25 showing with 0 unread and the ability to load more if i wished. Well, there was 25 showing but the box with the load more messages command was gone and no matter how many times I tried to refresh it would not come back.
So my theory is this; there always has to be an unread message in your inbox for the load more messages to work. Sorry about the long post. I'm going to test this theory out, knowing my luck, it won't work at all. Good luck bro!

I am trying to down load a movie from Itunes on my ipad but as the download is complete an error msg appears stating download error. I've tried downloading 4 times and the same message. What could be wrong?

I have a 4s iPhone which I loaded the new Os on last night. Now I can not connect to iTunes. A message comes up saying i need 10.6.3 or later but I am running 10.6.1 as I have an older Mac. Anyone have ideas how to get this to work?
Its not telling you to update your iPad, its telling you you need to download a recent version itunes on your computer.

I turned on iTunes Match, and subscribed; but it did not load all of my library. How can this be corrected?

iTunes fails to load. Message is "Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services." Never had this problem before trying to install this upgrade. How do I fix this?
Dave, same problem here. And I did go in as admin to Administrative Tools, Services, Apple Mobile Devices and tried restarting the service. It seems there is a bug with the newest update, period. All of the normal "easy" steps don't work. Before I remove all of Apple's programs, including Bonjour....I'm running a full system scan.
But the answer will be to remove all of the Apple stuff, then reboot, then use whatever utility you have to remove all temp files...then go download and install it again. This has worked for several people (I read the thread before posting). Win 7 64bit. It just seems that Apple did not thoroughly test this new version. Period.
If Apple reads this...I have many computers...and whenever Apple wants to update something...it just about stops everything else that is going on. Total memory hog, even with 16G RAM and dual quad core processors. It has to learn to play nice with others.
After the scan and I'm sure an hour or two of work...I'll re-post.
Of course if you do image back-ups, as I do, you can simply restore your drive to its previous state and run the previous version of iTunes, declining the update, until Apple gets it right. Depending on the size of your drive, this could take hours. It is a matter of choice, of course.
