If your phone is now disabled, you've already lost all of the data on the phone. That's the whole point of the passcode. Your only choice now is to force the phone into recovery mode and restore it, as described here:

My ipad has been disabled and now I'm trying to get it to work again. However, when I plug it into my computer it says that i need to type in the passcode, but i can't until it connects to itunes...also, my ipad has only been plugged into my friend's computer. it has never been plugged into a computer since then. Would this have anything to do with my problem?
This probably has nothing to do with plugging into your friends computer, but unless you have a backup, everything on the iPad will be lost.
You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Dear Sirs,when i use the computer updating my iphone to ios 7.1,suddenly black out.The computer has no power and my iphone does not work and keep display the screen saying the iphone need to connect to itunes. hopelessIf you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

I have an iPad Mini which after charging has now frozen with the iCloud Backup text box in the middle of the screen and OK 'button' registers when tapped but remain locked with nothing operating. It is fully charged.
Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

When I follow the directions about deleting bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark, then clicking on the blue star and then clicking on delete bookmark, it will work with some but not all my bookmarks. I have noticed that the ones that won't work appear to be marked in unsorted bookmarks rather than bookmarks menu.
I have tried many different ways to delete these bookmarks but nothing works. Some of these bookmarked pages need to be signed in and I no longer have a way to sign in or want to sign in.
I just want to delete the bookmark. Please help.This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). My phone is disabled after too many password attempts. I have tried to disconnect the USB from the phone, turned the device off, held the home button and reconnected the USB to the phone . I held the button until I got the connect to iTunes screen and clicked ok to restore the device however I receive the msg that it cannot connect to iTunes because it is locked with a passcode???
