M305D-S4829 is automatically off

Hi All,
I have Toshiba M305D-S4829 model laptop, recently it is getting turnoff suddenly in the middle of the work. After that I have to wait for 10 to 15mins to start my laptop again. It seems to be problem with heet. I am not sure.
Can any body please suggest what would be the good solution for that.

OVERHEATING is the #1 cause of immediate shutdown to prevent damage to the unit. Not to say that hardware failure or sfotware conflicts do not rank high. Check the power adapter and wiring for any signs of fray aspect, then check the fan and exhaust ports for cleaning of dust mites, etc. Has there been any electricla spikes of late there, and is a quality surge protector in use? Remove the battery to see if unit runs without a rcharge action in progress. Make note of hat you were doing at the time of shutdown and let us know. Thanks

My iPhone shutted automatically off today with a battery of 12%. I only could start it again by recharging. It's the second time in two weeks that happened, the first time with iOS 5.1.1, now with iOS 6.
Otherwise I don't have any problems with my iPhone 4S and the battery, depending on the usage I can use it +/- one day and it shuts off by 1-4%.
Do you know if there is a problem with the battery or can it happen sometimes by software error? It's very bad when I coun't that I'm attainable for a few more hours (iPhone on stand-by) and then it shuts off very early.

P.S. There was no problem with the cold, it happened in heated rooms.

First step is a reset:
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Mail can only be deleted from the mail server, not from other devices. To delete the mail after you have read it on your iPad, go to Settings/Mail.../your account/advanced settings, set the option to delete incoming mail after moving them into the inbox.

I am going to take a guess here at what you are asking. If you are wondering why when you try to download another album of photos from the PC to the iPad why the other photos are being erased, it's because you can only sync from one main photos folder at a time.
Place all of your photos into one main syncing album and sync that one album. You can create one level and sub folders and place those sub folders in the main syncing photos album and select those albums to syn, but you can sync from one main folder only by selecting that album in the Sync Photos From heading of the photos tab of iTunes.

Where are the pictures coming from? I would more likely believe that your system has a virus than photoshop, but without more information, I could be misinterpreting your post.

Restoring Toshiba M305D-S4829??

I have the Toshiba M305D-S4829. It never came with a restore disk. I looked up online how to restore my laptop back to its original settings, and it did not work. Any suggestions? Mabye someone else knows how to restore it to its original settings?

Hello ! In my MSI GT780DX (I5, gtx570m 1.5GB, Windows 7 x64 pro, charger ON) P1 "TURBO MODE" automatically off in few seconds (aimation from s-bar)
Everything work fine, until install the new driver for GPU from nvidia, v320, and give me problem whit P1 mode.
I'm uninstall the driver, and instal old, no fix, I'm uninstall all driver MSI (nvidia overclok tool, s-bar, afterburner, nvidia drivers) ,and install it again, no fix problem, still P1 "TURBO MODE" automatically off in few seconds ;/
curiosity:
For more GPU clok (700MHZ)and memory (1700), I run "nvidia inspector",only open "show overcloking",and "Driver profile" , nothing change ! Then run afterburner , and set gpu clok to 700Mhz, memory clok 1700, aply, and in game it's run gpu to 700Mhz, no pressing P1 button !!
But I want to press only P1 button for more gpu clok...

For anyone that needs help setting the overclock tool to run at startup, just set a task to run the tool with admin priveleges at user login with the task scheduler.
Can confirm this works for me, I can now use my turbo button and change brightness without SCM crashing on the latest Nvidia drivers (331.65).

Using another compatible battery to the phone will help isolate the issue. Does the phone have enough power? How old the SIM you have in it?

Bluetooth automatic off after using

I hope that Nokia update the firmware of their S60 series phones. I really hate turning off the bluetooth manually after using it. Unlike my previous S40 handsets, after you have finished sending media files, the bluetooth connection is turned off. On S60 series phones, you had to manually visit the bluetooth menu and turn it off. Why can't they implement it to conserve power?

you don't say what model you have , but on touch screen, a litttle bluetooth icon appears on home screen in top right hand corner when BT is activated. If you tap it, the phone goes straight to bluetooth, tap off, exit and thats it. It's not automatic, but thats all it takes on my N97 when I get out of the car at work every morning, and it only takes a couple of seconds !

IPhone time when "set automatically" off by 2 minutes (AT&T?)

I've noticed that the time on my iPhone is about 2 minutes behind what actual time is. I am in Des Moines, Iowa, so perhaps there is some issue with the signal AT&T is sending, but my girlfriend's iPhone also is two minutes off.
Has anyone else noticed the the automatic time on their AT&T iPhone is not accurate?
(In my case, accurate time is the time I am seeing on Mac OS X when using the "Set date & time automatically" option in the Date & Time control panel; if I compare at www.time.gov I find the same time, so it sure looks like AT&T is sending the wrong time out.)

When time is set to automatic on the iPhone, the iPhone displays the time which is being fed to it by the tower to which it is connected at any given moment. Thus if the tower is not set correctly, the iPhone will display the wrong time. You can call AT&T to notify them of significant errors, but switching the iPhone to manual time setting is better in areas where there are significant irregularities, particularly if time stamps vary greatly between towers!

Click on the Apple () in the upper left corner.
Click on 'System Preferences'
Under System click on Desktop & Screensaver
There will be two tabs on the top of the window that opens Desktop and Screen Saver
Click on the Screen Saver tab.
Adjust the slider on the bottom of the window to choose how long your computer will wait before logging you out.
There is one other option that could have a factor in this issue.
Go into the System Preferences again
Click on Security & Privacy
There will be a padlock in the lower left corner of the window
If it is locked, click on it and type your password to unlock it.
Click on the Advanced... button in the lower right corner.
There is an option that says "Log out after xx minutes of inactivity.
You can adjust the minutes there as well or just disable the action altogether by unchecking the box.

I have the same issue after converting from MobileMe: the checkbox in the iCloud preference pane next to Mail is automatically turned of (and the one under MobileMe is automatically turned on). I am receiving mails properly though, but I am afraid that I am still sticking to MobileMe. Any suggestions?

My m305d s4829 will not full turn on
