The current SATA Hard Drive is having problems.  The message Hard Drive Failure is Imminent is appearing.  The drive is 320 GB.  What is the largest size this system can handle?

I would stick with 2TB or smaller. You have the oldest possible Intel chipset that can handle native SATA and I am not sure how it would perform with high-density (3TB and larger) SATA hard drives. The case can actually hold 2 x 3.5 inch drives so a couple of 2 TBs would give more storage than anybody can use in a lifetime. I would not be shocked if a 4 TB or 6 TB drive would work but those are awfully expensive for experimentation and not a lot of people have much experience trying to run them in 7 year old machines.
