M78 second displayport not working

I have a M78 thinkcentre machine type 1662 model 1A0 that has a second optional DisplayPort. The VGA and one display port work fine but i cannot get the second display port to work. I have downloaded the drivers for the AMD A75 chipset and still no luck. The system is on the US government network running Windows 7 64 bit so I am unable to run the diagnostic software for auto detect. Any help would be appreciated.

Indeed I've tried to get the DP running both via the Windows 7 Control Panel and the "Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel", but the results stayed the same. So when I connect any of my three adapters to the DP, nothing happens.
Unfotrtunately, I don't have any dock at hand to try if the the connection between the dock's DP and the monitors would work (and I hesitate to spend more than 100€ just for a test run :-) )
I also do not have a monitor with a nativ DP input, just several others with VGA and DVI. And none of them worked.
However, since the DP connection does not show up in the display's option even after forcing to detect display (as does VGA and the FlexView display), I somewhat doubt that a nativ DP monitor will work.
Nevertheless, I will look around at the desktops of my colleagues, maybe there is a monitor with a DP input.

Henrik, when you detach all of your monitors (and your dock of course) and force to detect displays within the display's option of the Windows Control Panel? Does both VGA and DP appear under "multiple displays"? I just get a pull-down menu with the option: "Ty to connect anyway: VGA" and "Try to connect anyway: Composite"

What TC do you have? Model number direct from the base is a big help, it will be A1 followed by 3 numbers.. eg
A1409 Gen 4.. The new AC is A1470

I need the whole network setup. what modem/router, how is the TC connected etc??
I also need to know what IP the ipod gets, so I can see what mode the TC or network router is working in.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

Search using second categorization schema not working

We're currently using SolMan 7.1 for quite some time now and we've successfully set up 2 categorization schemas. However, we recently noticed that the second categorization schema doesn't seem to work when we try to search for transactions using categories from this schema. Can you pls. give us an idea on what configurations we could be missing out on? Will greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

Second DVI Port not working?

Hi,
I just purchased a HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1224 (windows 7 home premium) and an having problems hooking up 2 monitors via the built-in DVI outputs.
I have a monitor plugged into each of the DVI ports. The computer doesn't seem to detect any monitor plugged into the lower DVI port. I've tried switching a number of times; if a monitor is plugged into the top port, it works fine; if it's plugged into the bottom port, the computer doesn't detect it. I've tried going to the "screen resolution" menu to manually detect the second monitor, but hitting the "detect" button doesn't find the second monitor.
Is there some sort of trick to get dual-monitors working with this computer?

Please provide the brand and complete model numbers for the monitors you are trying to connect to your computer. Also indicate the exact methods you are using to connect the monitors.
As your HP Pavilion p6-2310 Desktop Computer has one DVI-D (digital only) output and one VGA (analog only) output, one monitor must support VGA input and the other monitor must support DVI-D input.
(#1) - DVI-D (digital) output (#2) - VGA (analog) output
The computer and monitors will need to be connected as follows;
Computer > DVI-D cable > Monitor #1
Computer > VGA cable > Monitor #2

Lenvo M81 Displayport not work

Hi,
The computers we are using are M81 7518-B1U. When the monitors switched to NEC E223W with the displayport connected. No video. I switched it back to VGA monitor. I updated the BIOS and the video. Then I switched back to the new NEC monitor with the displayport. No POST No video. Please help!

Nvidia Quadro 2000: DisplayPort not working

Hello,
I have a brand new S30 with a Nvidia Quadro 2000 card (latest drivers from Nvidia installed). Output to one display (LT2452p) through the DVI port is ok, but the display stays blank when connected via any of the the DisplayPort outputs. Since I want to attach 2 displays, I need to use the DisplayPort connectors...
Any hint on how I could check whether the graphic card itself is faulty?

Hello pierrech,
Can you use another Display Port cable and another Monitor with a Display Port input to make sure it's not the monitor or the cable? If that doesn't work, the graphics card (possibly the system board if the graphics card is welded onto it), will need to be replaced. I hope that helps.

Link to second portlet page not working.

I am trying the sample jsp portlet "multipage" that comes with the PDK. When I click the link the page refreshes and displays the new URL, but does nor display the second page's(second.jsp) content. I'm am using Oracle Portal version 3.0.7 and have heard that this is a bug. Any suggestions? The code I'm using is below.

I've got the current PDK(JPDK1.3) and second.jsp is in the same directory.

IChat second Host Domain not working

I'm running ichat server with a local network hostname, and it works great. We have some people outside our network that want to access it too, so the server has a public ip and dns name. I added the outside dns name to the iChat Host Domains list hoping it would just work, but to no avail.
I see these log message when I try to connect to the other domain:

Why is the second procedure in my package not working??

Hi I have a package that I want to run every 15 minutes. When I try to run the procedures manually and each one seperately they work. But when I put together these procedures in a package, the second procedure does not work or not updating the table. Any idea why this is creating a problem??

You have create global variables CSREWORK and CSTRACKOUT
in your package.
Your have then selected the
max(cstrackout) ,max(csrework) which would probably pick these variables up.
Rename your variables to v_CSREWORK and v_CSTRACKOUT or remove altogether as no sign they are being used which should fix that problem. The normal naming standard for oracle is to name variables with a v_ and parameters with a p_ to prevent problems with naming.

This is a guess, but I suspect that ords_services.add_parameter() is not required at all.
Also, your URL /demo_product_info/10/ should not have the trailing slash (according to your template URI).

The migration package will show what is usually done for templates that already exist within APEX 4.2. I checked my templates and the ones with URI variables {in-curly-brackets} contain no records in apex_040200.wwv_flow_rt$parameters.

Mail receiver adapter: THeaderREPLY-TO not working on ASMA

I'm trying to set some adapter specific message attributes (ASMA) in a mail receiver adapter.
Two properties I'm trying to set: THeaderFROM e THeaderREPLY-TO.
The first one is working great, the second one does not work.
My scenario is Soap to Mail. I send a soap message, in the message mapping a user defined function get the mail address (to and reply-to) and set it with DinamicConfiguration like this (hard coded to be simple):

As in the documentation, it should work. But the mail message reaches the mailbox with mime header Return-Path = from at teste.com.
Reading all the notes related to mail adapter (and adapter module processing) I found the tool TCPGateway to monitor what is going from adapter engine to the mail server. So I changed a little the scenario to test it and now the scenario is Soap->TCPGateway->MailServer. In the TCPGateway I got this:

With this information, I found that something is not right in the mail adapter, because it is not writing the relevant reply-to attributes to the mail message.
Some of you has any idea about it?

Actually (for testing purposes) I have the email roberti at mycompany.com set in all fields of receiver mail adapter mail attributes (from, to, cc and bcc). I turned all of them on and of and analysed the result. It seems that the information whe put on ASMA overloads the information on these mail attributes. But, in mail attributes, we don't have a field for REPLY-TO, just on ASMA we have this field.
So... the problem is in REPLY-TO. It has not been set in mail adapter, even if I set it with dinamic configuration.

Package with 2 procedures not working; Please help

When I try to run the procedures that are in this package manually, each one seperately works. But when I put together these procedures in a package, the second procedure does not work or not updating the table. Any idea why this is creating a problem??
PROCEDURE UPDATE_CS_ACTIVITY is the one in the below package that does not seems working .. but when i run the procedure manually it works fine.
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated...

How do you know the procedure is not working?
You have created a package that has two sub-programs (procedures).
In order for the sub-programs to execute they must be called, individually.
You just don't put sub-programs in a package and call the package expecting it to execute all of the sub-programs.
