Lorsque je clique sur la vignette "mail" dans le dock, rien ne se passe. Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà rencontré ce problème ?
J'ai vérifié la configuration de mon mail, tout est OK. 9a marchait bien avant.

Impossible à fermer correctement, il y a toujours un processus en cours impossible à supprimer et firefox ne veut plus démarrer. Reboot obligatoire !

I am trying to use Mail with my Yahoo Mail Plus account. I setup the account without any problems and transfered my Inbox email into Mail.
Here is my problem: I have Folders (in my Yahoo Mail) that I have created to store certain emails. I haven't found a way to transfer those email into Mail. Has anyone done this before?
I know that I have to create a SmartMailbox in Mail but how do it get those email be sent to Mail.

Mac Mail with yahoo plus account difficultly with account reconditions and outgoing serving sending problems

I'm not exactly a techy. I have been having real trouble using YAHOO and now YAHOO PLUS with service useing the MAC MAIL application. This problem started a few weeks back in LION OS and I had apple support and the guys at the genuess bar give it shot and they always improved things but the problem persisted. I had apple care as recently as last night. After I got of the phone with the gentlemen I started having problems with the outgoing servier again. We even looked into the keychain for problems. This morning I downloaded OS 10.8 and MAIL is running better but yahoo is still buggy. Often either the password is not reconized or the outgoing mail can not be sent from the yahoo server. If I directly to yahoo.com and use their site I don't have this problem so it must be either a compadablity problem.

It can't be a software conflict, because Mail is only connecting to a mail server for Yahoo!, so there's no software conflict to be had.
Your profile says you're running 10.4.1, and the latest release of Tiger is 10.4.11; is there some reason you haven't updated to that version yet? By doing so, it will also update Mail to correct any bugs or security flaws that could be causing this problem.
Even if that's not the problem, you should try opening Mail while holding down the Shift key. Then Control-click in an empty area of your mailbox list pane and select Get Info from the contextual menu. A window will open and you should use the popup menu to select that Yahoo! Mail account and see if it will connect and tell you how many messages are there, and you should be able to download them from that window.
If that doesn't work, post back with your Yahoo! account settings for the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

Hi, apologies if this has been asked but can anyone help with details of yahoo mail, yahoo mail plus and Bt yahoo etc.
I have used BT yahoo as my mail provider since signing up for broadband 2 years ago. I now have thousands of important work related emails on there and only just realised that they do not back up.
Reading forums i can see that you need yahoo plus to enable you to backup your emails.
I just joined yahoo plus, well I paid £11.99 for it but not had confirmation yet and suddenly thought as I pressed the OK button is this the same as BT yahoo or have I paid for yahoo mail plus that has nothing to do with BT yahoo ???

1.Will I simply now go over to yahoo plus and all will work ok including backing up or am I in limbo with no backup.
2. how do i back up, or will thgis become obvious

I've been using Windows Live Mail for BT Yahoo mail ever since I bought a Win7 PC several months ago. Prior to that, it was Outlook Express on Windows XP.
There is an intermittent flakiness about Yahoo's mail servers. At the moment, they seem to be working OK. However, they do go through patches where mail downloads will randomly fail, or will fail when you first connect. This usually sorts itself out as WLM attempts to poll the servers for new mail every few minutes anyway.
