Mac 10.5.7 update has made golive 9 stop rendering css in layout view

Has any one else on Mac with the mac 10.5.7 update have new issues with golive 9 not rendering css in layout view. It works still in pdf preview and if I boot to 10.5.6 all is normal again. Also in the live rendering engine it works as well...just not in layout view- its very disconcerting. Any workarounds? anyone else with this issue?

I have been using an external CSS file simply for defining font styles
site wide. The rendering of them on screen in layout view is now just
the plain default font prior to showing the CSS altered version of it.
Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. You mean it shows your text in the default and *then* renders it correctly using the CSS after a delay?
I tried torching the prefs...perhaps I did the wrong file...what file is to be deleted?

Move them out to, say, the Desktop. If they are not the cause of the problem, put them back replacing the newly-created versions.
I cloned my os prior to the update and all was fine. Rebooting to clone
css renders normal...but in 10.5.7 its not rendering in layout view.
I'm not seeing the same thing here with GL9/OS X 10.5.7, so it may be its something specific to your particular update. You might also want to consider doing a re-import of the site to recreate the site file and see if that helps.

3.1.3 software update has made my iPod stop working correctly

I have a 2nd generation 16 GB iPod touch. I purchased the 3.1 update when it came out. I had some problems with my iPod after that update, but these problems were resolved when the next update came out (3.1.2 I think). Last week I did the next iPod update-3.1.3. Now my iPod is worse than before. My movies and podcasts won't download from my iTunes library, sometimes when I sync my iPod, it appears there is no music or anything on it (which was what happened after the first update). However when I go into "Settings", it says it has no songs, but all the capacity is all used up. I have to go back in to sync again, but i might have to do this 3 or 4 times before it puts my songs back on my iPod. Just plug it into your computer and restore it through iTunes. You can try restore from backup first and, if the problems go away, then you are done. If not, restore again and select restore as new. You can resync all of your content when done.

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

After updating to IOS 7 update. It has made my key board not work very well when typing a message.

Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.

HT5624 I was prompted to update to ios7 so I did as usual. But this update has made my ipad a piece of junk. I am unable to access Siri, I can't read the faint print particularly those tiny letters on the top row which show the visited websites, etc.

I updated to iOS 7 last might after being prompted by Apple. This caused me to lose many useful features of my iPad2. First I find that Siri has disappeared. When I contacted Apple support, the guy who took my serial # and model # verified things on his end and said emphatically that I should have Siri, but could't help me find it. After wasting hours with these people and waiting several minutes for their promised supervisor to come online, I was again disconnected by them. My second major problem I wanted solved was the hard to read fine and faint print. I don't have good eyes and with iOS 7 on my iPad2 I am now unable to read the top row which has the list of websites in avery faint and fine print. I could read everything on my iPad until yesterday evening when I made the mistake of updating to iOS7. Till yesterday evening I loved my iPad but after that update to iOS 7 last night it is a piece of junk for me. Hope there is help somewhere out there to restore Siri and other useful features of iOS 6 or get iOS6 back on my ipad So I can use it again. Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device

11.2 iTunes update has made me unable to open iTunes. It says "The procedure entry point ADiAdID_AquireMatchSlotIfNecessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll" I have done everything imaginable! Please help?!

I deleted, reinstalled, searched, enabled, disabled--EVERYTHING and yet iTunes will not open! This is exactly why I hate updates rom Apple because they do this time and time again. I deleted multiple .dll files and nothing has worked. This is a glitch from the newest update 11.2. Hi, Did you strip out all components, delete the named folders and reboot as in the second box of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates?

ISO 4 update has made my album artwork blurred.

Since updating my 3gS with the new software, the album artwork has become very blurred. I have been through my entire library and deleted all artwork and re copied them back in. Synced my iphone once complete, but this has not fixed the problem, Any ideas?

Huge improvement for me. If this didn't fix my issues I was demanding either a 4th unit or my money back. Proximity fixed, reception issues-much better,snappiness now, camera much better pictures. I think I like this phone now.

2.2 update has made my texting all wonky!

Now that the fabulous update is here, my texting has become a major pain. It likes to enter three or more characters for one, change words even when I spell them correctly, add a period and a new sentence.... not helpful at all.

Wifi and Data running simultaneously. Data was being charged to my account even though I was on WIFI. No one can fix the issue. I have wasted 8 hours of my life and went and returned my phone and got a new one yet after the last update I now have WIFI and Data showing that they are running simultaneously. I have looked at numerous message boards and turned off Caller ID don't have Volte on my phone but do get an error with Visual Voice Mail. I don't want any of these services, you are not helping your customers Verizon or Samsung with forcing us to update. I tried not to update my NEW phone that I had to get from Costco because of this exact same stupid issue happen on my last one. But every time I said NO to update the next time I did anything on the phone the UPDATE would pop up again. I would say NO it would come back. I was doing a text and it came up and I hit update not wanting to and then my phone began updating on a low battery. I had to rush to put on charge and then my WIFI and Data came back on together with arrows on all going up and down. I HATE the lack of support I get from SAMSUNG and VERIZON... Verizon washes their hands and say these are not Updates even though these are the features we have on all our phones like Visual Voice Mail and Volte...

I did look at the Settings/Cellular to check the applications. This is one of the steps I did with the person from Verizon who was an "iPhone Specialist". And he didn't see anything unusual. And I can honestly tell you they have very minimal number of apps on their phones.
When I went to the Apple Store the first time with this problem, they had me update the phones iOS systems to see if this would correct the problem. They were each running older versions but different versions. One son had one update to do and the other had a couple of updates needed. So, the problem started before they were updated and they weren't even on the same update. And nothing changed after we did the updates.
I didn't reboot the router and modem, because I'm not having any other issues with my phone, my husband's phone, our iPad, xbox, PS3, or laptops. Would the wifi only affect their phones?

New iTunes Update Has Made it Impossible to Load to My Ipod

I just downloaded and installed the new update for iTunes. When I next attached my ipod to load things on to it I couldn't. I shows up on iTunes, no problem. But when I right click on things to add them to the ipod it doesn't show up under the 'Add to Playlist' category as it used to. I've found that if I select 'Autofil' that will put music onto the ipod, but I have no control over what order they are in. Any rearranging of the order after they load won't take. Also, none of my Audio Books from Audible.com will load onto it at all.
I tried restarting the system, restoring my ipod to factory settings, uninstalling iTunes and then installing it again. I even downloaded and used the Ipod Reset Utility. Nothing works. So, all I can have is random music but none of the Audio Books which were my REASON for getting an ipod in the first place.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening and what I should do about it?

I'm having a lot of problems with the new iTunes update. I only use the Shuffle for podcasts, while exercising. With the new iTunes, I cannot even load podcast on the Shuffle.
The Autofill features never worked for podcasts, even before the recent update, but at least it was a convenient way to clear my Shuffle. I was able to highlight podcasts, then add them to the Shuffle manually.
Now, the Shuffle does not even show up as an option, just as Georgia Millet described.
Is there a way to roll back iTunes to the older version, until this can be fixed???? This is extremely frustrating.
I may just switch to a different software, if these problems continue...

We need details such as what version of Reader you have, what email client, are these links to a pdf from your email or are they attached pdf documents, what troubleshooting suggestions did you try (there could be many you missed)...etc.

OS X Yosemite has made my MacBook very slow

Hello all.
The new OS X Yosemite update has made my MacBook (13-inch 2006-2010) really slow. Has anyone else had this problem and how do you resolve it? I would have thought Apple would bring out another update by now to help the slowness it has bought to my Mac but I am still waiting and to be honest, getting very fed up with how slow it is.
It is a MacBook 13-inch late 2009 (I believe).

I can’t move the whole down or to the right.
I only can pull on the right corner beneath, but the top and the left stays on top and left.

What do you mean? Can you explain in more detail or post a screenshot? Do you mean the top of the window is caught under the menubar at the very top of the screen or that you can't see the one with File, Edit, etc?

Hi my late 2008 model Mac Book Pro has gotten really slow and has made a loud noise twice in the last month.

My Macbook is not acting right it has gotten very sluggish online and has made a really loud buzz or screaching sound twice in the last month. The first time I was just on the internet and it wouldn't quit making the loud noise until I turned it off and back on. This last time it made it while restarting it or was in the process of restarting from updating and while it was still a black screen it made that noise but stoped on its own this time. I have no idea what to check in Macs or where to looks for errors or problems. If someone could please direct me in what I can check to see if there is any info on what may be problemactic on my computer. Thank you. Laurie

Also the link you profided is this what the update to 10.6 will provide? I really didn't understand the tech language so I didn't understand what it was telling me. I am sorry to be so inept on this. I just had to have the battery replaced about a month ago and while in the store I was asking the tech to check all the error messages and make sure everything was OK because I had no clue what they meant or if I had any problems. I just use it I guess you would say. The tech said I didn't need to worry about any of that stuff that Mac's don't get viruses and I was fine. Well that didn't answer checking for hardware problems or anything like that but he didn't have anything else to say about it.

I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 and did a complete removal and reinstallation of iTunes. You MUST follow the directions here exactly...it's more than just iTunes that must be removed, and it MUST be done in the order in which the support article says. I followed the exact instructions, and iTunes is back on my machine (no more C runtime error) and you do NOT lose your music...it's all in my library, as it was before.
