Mac: Adobe Application Manager pops up every time I use any Application

I have a problem using Applications of Adobe Creative Cloud: Every time I click on any icon (Photoshop, Indesign) or on any file (pdf) the Adobe Application Manager pops up and asks me to extend my membership with Adobe Creative Cloud. The selected application does not start with that!
I click "Try again" and the window dissappears - only to show up again. I tried with the Adobe Chat and they told me to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud and to re-install it afterwards. After this it worked only for one launch of Photoshop, after that again the Application Mananger pops up.
What can I do to re-normalize my Adobe Applications?
Thanks for any help (and please excuse my awful English!)
Martin

Hi olgademi,
Looks like the Adobe Application Manager has gone corrupt. We might need to re-install AAM.
Please uninstall the existing version and download AAM from : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774

Rave

  • Registration Prompt Every Time I Launch Any Application

Almost every time I launch any application, and every time I launch Acrobat XI Pro, I get either a window telling me that I have so many days left in my trial or I get a notification that I need to complete my registration of my product. I have been a CC subscriber for at least a year, or longer. I am always connected to the internet and signed in to my CC account when this happens. I have to repeat the sign in to cancel the window. When I follow the link to the registration page, the resulting page has all of my correct information and there's nothing to update.
I know this seems like a fairly minor annoyance, but it is an annoyance nonetheless. Any suggestions?

    Hi Anthony,
Please rename or delete SLcache and SLstore folders.
    For Windows: C:\ProgramData\Adobe For Slstore
                          C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe  For SLcache
For Mac: Open the finder window click on go and choose computer and navigate to
    MacHD>Library>ApplicationSupport>Adobe
and delete the SL store and SL cache folders.
Then try to re-launch and reactivate your product.
    Thanks

  • Apple ID password login every time I used an application

    Hello,
I'm getting an Apple ID Password Login every time I used an application, phone (Verizon, iPhone 4), or any other programs.  I login correctly and it still ask me to login again.  I don't think my phone needs to get any updates, becasue I update my phone and applications when I get home at night.
Anyone having this problem?  This is annoying!
    Thanks

Are you logged into your account in Settings/Store?

  • Macbook froze every time I use an application.

Okay here is the problem. I have a Macbook Pro 15 inch laptop that freezes every time I use or click any application. The problem seems to be continuing for about 3 days now. I have no clue if there is a corrupted file, but should I reinstall the Mac OS X Install DVD to fix the problem?

Start by checking how much free space you have on your HD; open a Finder window and read the "xxGB available" message at the bottom. (may be at the top if you have the sidebar collapsed).

  • "Renew your subscription" Every time I open any application

Every time I open any of the CS6 products which I am using with a student subscription, I get a "Renew Your Subscription" message, even though my subscription is up to date. Clicking "try again" gives a message that it was successful, followed by the same message.
When I click license this software, and input my password, the software works normally.

Hi Mylenium, thanks for the reply.
I've already looked at that page, and there is everything checks.
I've read about a few cases with this happening in earlier releases of Creative Cloud. There seems to be a few documented cases using CS5.5 with subscriptions, which seemed to be misconfiguration on Adobe's end.

  • I think my mac is infected with a virus, every time I use the internet pop up pages appear constantly what should I do?

I think I may have accidentally opened an email attachment which was fake.  Ever since I did this my mac constantly opens pop up pages with ads every time I click the mouse.  I have checked in preferences and it says pop up pages are blocked but still they keep appearing.  How do I stop this?

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
    Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
    Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.daemon.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.helper.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/Jack.plist
Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Then delete the following items in the same way:
    /Library/Application Support/VSearch
    /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/Jack
    /System/Library/Frameworks/VSearch.framework
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin
Some of these items may be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • Error 10 every time I build any application on OS X

Even if a create a simple VI with nothing but a while loop, a stop button and a timer inside, I get error 10 while building the application. I have tried several combinations fo the inclusions/exclusion selection, enable/disable debugging, etc. Always get the same error. I know other people can build applications with os x so it must be something about my installation, but I don't know where to start. I'd rather not reinstall everything. Hope someone has seen this before.

    Thanks for your reponse.
It happened no matter how simple or complex my application. I have now made the problem go away. I'll tell you what I did.
First I re-started the computer. Then I tried to build a very simple application and it worked. But when I tried again, it failed with Error 10. So I restarted labview and it stll failed with error 10. The only way I could get it to build the app was to restart the computer and then it would only build it the once.
Then I started looking at some of the VI's that are part of the app builder and I got a little suspicious because some seemed to be linked to the LabVIEW 8.0 folder, not the 8.2. I had LabVIEW version 7.0, 7.1, 8.0 and 8.2 on my computer.
I removed all but version 8.2 and now the build works every time. So I think somehow the app builder VI's got crosslinked between versions after the first time I built and app in 8.2. I don't know how this happened since I actually rarely, if ever, have tried to use the app builder on my mac. I can't imagine a case in which I had Labview 8.0 and 8.2 open at the same time and built an application with one of them.

  • Office 2007 Configuration wizard runs every time I start any Application (word, excel, etc)

    Hi!
I've installed Office 2007 Enterprise on my Vista x64 system, but when I'm
starting any of the Office apps, Office runs a setup/configuration prog
(Office is collecting/gathering setup information or something like that).
    My event log has produced
numerous warnings, on of the more significant is :
    Detection of product '{90120000-0030-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}', feature
    'ProductFiles', component '{6252B847-BADA-43D4-9252-E39767FA40A1}'
failed.  The resource 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pip\' does not exist.
I tried to access the HCR\.pip\ key in Regedit and receive the
    following message:
    "Error Opening Key
    ..pip can not be opened.
An error is preventing this key from being opened.
    Details: Access is denied."
I have tried the Windows Installer Clean up utility to remove all
traces of Office, cleaned the registry, reinstalled Office 2007
4 times and still have the install/configuring messages popping up
    upon loading the Office programs..
ANY information would be appreciated !!!
    Thanx a lot @lby

    MAZENS's WAY SOLVED IT
Thanks Mazen, nice move, it has worked out,
[The rest is for 'still-learners' like me, please follow the following :)]
Start Menu->Control Panel->AdministrativeTools->EventViewer (Hurray, we have the so called found event viewer)
    Then hit 'Application', which brings
Type , Date, time, source bla bla window in which the events are listed.
I started reading them one by one. Once you hit a line (information), 'event properties ' window opens. You can see that there are arrow buttons to scroll down and up among the events. And there is the 'description' part in the same window. While scrolling thru all messages (information lines), I came across the follwing messages in the 'description' section:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ServiceLayer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Service started.
    Another event's description was:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( gupdate1c99657ceb0c142 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Service stopped.
As you may have recognized message mentions about 'Event ID ( 0 )'.
So I followed Mazen's directions and replicated ID_00030.DPC and renamed the replica as ID_00000.DPC
Now it is working without any configuration pop up. By the way, before creating ID_00000.DPC, I had already tried  ID_00011.DPC and ID_00051.DPC. Now I have four .dpc files (0,30,11,51) in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
As Office2007 application is starting fast now, I don't bother about them (i guess/hope it is ok).
    Best wishes,

  • How can I stop App Store pop-ups every time I use my iPhone?

It seems like every time I turn on my iPhone 4S lately, there is a window asking me if I would like to go to the App Store.  I have to click "OK" or "Cancel" before I can use the iPhone.  Extremely annoying.

Actually, now that it's happened again (several times) I see that it actually says "iTunes store", not "App Store".

  • 'Java Script Application' box pops up every time double click on FF6.0 icon.

1)In the box: "TypeError.Components.classes [cid] is undefined", appears. There is a yellow triangle w/! mark. Below that is small box with "OK" inside. I click it and FF opens.
2)FF 6 seems to be running slower than usual. Almost as if each update eliminates my 'adons' and runs a little slower.
    Any fixes for #1?

Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Add-ons
On the left side, click Extensions
Then disable as many as possible and restart Firefox.
    Any luck?
