Mac and Safari can't get on internet, but Chrome Can

I have been trying to upgrade since last Thursday. The first 3 upgrades I tried, failed, so I did a Clean Install last night. I used the settings migration assistant afterwards.
I saw this problem when I did an in-line upgrade as well, when I was finally able to get back to my desktop, Safari and Mac services (i.e. Time Sync, App Store, iTunes, etc) can not connect to the internet. On a whim, I went to Chrome, and surfing is faster then ever. I am not sure what to do now? I am thinking of restoring to Maverick and waiting for Apple to release an update. Anyone have any thoughts?

I am talking about the Ver 3 download link that came with the purchase email.
That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

I'm having the same issue. All my applications transferred over. Lightroom is working, but when I went to edit a picture in Photoshop, I got an error message. It told me to restart, but the program still won't open after restart. It says licensing has stopped working, but what does that mean? I can't tell whether it's unsupported/blocked, or if it's a malfunction. The error code is 150:30 See screen shot.

Dont buy a Western Digital, get a Hitachi or Seagate (Toshiba is made by Hitachi). These are the most reliable, and the HD used inside Macs.
ALL HD can be made compatible with your MAC (including a WD if you already bought same), ......they just need to be formatted for the Mac platform, format them in Disk Utility as Mac OSX extended journaled.

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again.
2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
