Mac book air (2013) doesn't start

Hi,
my mac book air doesn't start anymore. I used it yesterday, put it on the macsafe charger and took it off when the chargerlight went green.
Than, when I wanted to start it. Nothing happenend.
I used all the tricks. SMC reboot, shaking it, push all the buttons, tried everything I could find on this apple forum.
nothing happens, no sound, nothing.
Currently i'm on a world trip, so no apple support close for the next months
I really hope somebody can give me some advices...
I hope it will work again in a couple off days like other MBA owners with the same problem.

Hello, After Effects want open in my Mac Book Air 2013, 1,7 Ghz Intel Core i7 - OS X 10.9.2. Anyone can help me please ?

i've tried to install the trial after effects from original adobe creative cloud, i've also installed the updates up to 12.2 and the program still won't open. I've got OS 10.9.2, 1,7 ghz intel core i7 / 8 gb ram.
Could you tell me how to proceed in order to install the program properly?
I would like to emphasize that the program is not starting at all, and I herewith give you the error details:
After Effects - Avvertenza: Impossibile creare il file /Users/sebi10/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.2/Aree di lavoro.xml.
The message reads: Warning: it's impossible to create the file /Users/sebi10 (my name)/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.2/Working areas.xml.
It also sais:
After Effects - Impossibile continuare: errore imprevisto durante l'avvio dell'applicazione
After Effects - Impossible to continue: sudden error during starting of application

2013 MAC Book Air I am unable to get the USB to network connector to work. I tried USB3 and USB2 adapters.

Youre using a very slow adaptor if you have a 2013, get a Gigabit adapter, far far faster.

Mac book air 2013 battery %

In my brand new mac book air it dosn't warn me when it has low battery %. It only shows me when my computer has 3% left or less.
What can I do?

perform a SMC reset, and in system preference check and uncheck the battery % indicator
SMC reset
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

My mac book air camera doesn't work

I know this has been answered probably thousands of times, ive been trying to get this thing to work for a while, ive tried everything, I followed steps from other sites, reinstalled adobe flash and tried messing around with the flash settings. My camera works perfectly fine on Skype, photobooth and ichat/facetime. When I'm on a site like tinychat it asks me if I'll allow access to my camera I click on allow ( The only 2 options are allow and deny, no options or anything ). Still the camera doesnt work my mic does but not my camera. If anybody had this same problem and found a fix, Id really appreciate it if you could tell me what to do. Thanks!

• If you have not already done so, restart Mac and use AndyO's
    good suggestion. If the iSight still does not work, continue.
• Use the suggestions for built-in iSight from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090
Be sure to test more than one Apple app in more than one user account.
• If these suggestions do not help you, (are you certain that you
   used the correct "reset" procedure?), yours is most likely a
   hardware problem that will require a professional fix.
   Unless you have a current backup, make one now.
Then use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion:
"... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."

My laptop is fine all working but the track pad and mouse work fine but when i click on a file or a pic it does not open and i end up have ing to do a ctrl click and selcting open this is so anyoying plz help!!!

You say click on a file but your do mean you are double clicking to open the file, right?

It sounds like you destroyed your boot partition and the recovery partition. Depending on it's age, your MacBook Air might be able to do a net boot. Plug and ethernet connection into it and attempt to boot. If it has the right firmware, it will find a net boot configuration on the net and boot that. Then it will give you a Recovery Partition like display and allow you to reinstall the OS X version that came with it.... assuming that it was Lion or ML. If your computer came with Snow Leopard, then even the net boot won't work.
At that point you need a bootable USB Key, or an external DVD drive AND a Snow Leopard installation DVD.
An Apple Store, if there is one nearby, MAY be able to get you going again. However, whatever is on the SSD now will be toast too.

Hi i want to know anybody who have upgrade mac book air on 2013 13 inch 256 gb....from 1.3 ghz to 1.7 ghz,from 4 to 8 sd ram,from 256 to 512 gb flash storage how this perform is that very fast,any problems upgrade pls can anybody give advice as i have consider to buy it or its a waste of money not fast enough

Instead of using Ethernet, both Macs have got Thunderbolt. I recommend you to get a Thunderbolt cable and use it to transfer your files. The transfer will be much faster.

Migration Assistant will ask you what you want to transfer, and one of the folders it will ask you to transfer is Applications. If you tick it, all your applications will be transferred, including Parallels, Pages, Numbers, Office for OS X, etc. You may need to reactivate them. Also, you may have to buy Office again depending on the license you have. Transfer the Documents folder because the Parallels virtual machine is saved there.

Are you hearing three beeps?
When plugged in does the green light come up showing a charged battery?
If you cannot get to recovery mode and can do nothing ....youll need to make an appt. with Apple for in shop full diagnosis and possible repair.

Mac Book Air, cannot exit Voice Over at initial start up

New Mac Book Air; initial power-up; selected English language; 'Welcome' screen defaults to 'United States'; cannot manually 'Continue' to register and set up; 'esc' results in starting the Voice Over tutorial; 'Command+F5' results in seeing/hearing 'Voice Over off'...can't get past this 'loop'.

I think your issue here is the combo of Lion on the air and the TC on latest firmware.
There is a longish thread here exploring the problem. Start from the end and work backwards.. as we become more intelligent as we try different solutions.

But you should ring apple support and get them working on it.. perhaps they already know of it and have a work around.. this is definitely a bug and lack of adequate testing to leave you in this situation.
I would say if you need to work through it yourself.. go back to 7.5.2 firmware if you are on 7.6.. just hold down the options key when you go to the top menu upload firmware, and the older versions will be listed.
Try with that, if not enough we might think through some more..
Your issue maybe more serious as most people are not losing internet just connection to the AFP share of the hard disk. Do you have another computer to plug into the TC by cable and see if you can check the logs and the TC wireless clients info?

unlikely your charger is bad, rather it sounds as if your IO BOARD may be defective, perform a SMC reset and re-verify same.
