Mac Book Send more then 300 Copies of Print command to Network Printer
Dear Experts,
I am Using Mac Book with OS X.
I configured the Macbook to a Laserjet Printer 4250 via Printer server (DPU300). It has been working fine for few months.
Now the problem is, when i send a print command from my mac book, it prints more then 300 copies. From other windows Box it works fine. I could not figure out the problem, please advice me.
I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

As the others have stated, you're on Mountain Lion with 10.8, anything. But you can check your version of the software by going to the apple in the upper left corner of the screen and clicking it and selecting "About This Mac". That will open a box that shows your software version. Once there you can click on "More Info" that will tell you everything about your specific mac configuration.

You have quite muddied up the waters, I'm afraid. Assuming you now have a single GUID partition formatted Mac OS Extended, Journaled, you should try reinstalling Lion:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
I had a windows laptop, and I save files like photos,documents, videos and other things on an external hard drive, and now I want tomove those files to the Mac book Pro, and then move those files again toanother external hard drive 1T. My question is: Is it possible? Doing this willnot affect the files that I had in windows? No information is lost? or how cani do it?
Connect the external drive to your Mac and drag the files from it to your Mac's internal drive. Then dismount and disconnect the external drive, connect the 1TB external drive, and drag the files from the internal drive onto the external. Nothing will have been deleted from any of the drives up to this point; the files will only have been copied. Verify that the files are readable. There's no reason they shouldn't be; this is just a precaution.
Now if you wish to delete the files from any of the drives, drag them to the Trash, and Empty the Trash while the drive from which they came is still connected. If you disconnect the drive before emptying the Trash, the files you were trying to remove from it won't be deleted. They'll remain in the Trash and continue to take up space on the drive.
Note that if your external drives are in NTFS format, you won't be able to write anything to them or delete anything from them, though you will be able to read and copy the files they contain. The NTFS disk format is read-only to the Mac OS, unless you have a third-party NTFS driver installed. To make your drives cross-platform readable and writable, you must reformat them in the FAT32 or ExFAT format. -

We receiving data from source (SAP CRM) systems to SAP BW, Characteristic description is more then 300 Characters we want to report this in BEX.
Description of a characteristic from source system to BW will come more then 600 and may be more then 1000 characters it is not fixed.
Our problem is how to pull data into BW?
How to take Report on this pulled data?
Please suggest or give me idea how to resolve this Issue.

You need multiple file upload form controls in your HTML and
the PHP
script has to loop through the array that holds the
informations about
all received files.
The script might also need some additional security checks.
Currently it
seems to be possible to upload any arbitrary files, even
other scripts.
With some more tweaking the server might be tricked into
executing them,
which would be a huge security hole.
The receiving script has to check the actual file content,
not just the
file extension or content type, which can both be faked.

MAIL / Address Book..... sending more then 20 on BCC ....???

I have created a Group on my Mac Book for all my Media contacts, which are more than 100.
When I create a mail, click on group "MEDIA" and drag it over to BCC, it only takes 20 at the time.
Also, my friend has created a group "Clients" on her MacAir, and is trying to send about a monthly Newsletter. She has more than 200 clients, but each time she drags over the Group to BCC, it only takes 20 at the time.

Can you try Select all in the Group then drag all the names to BCC?
Most ISPs have a limit of 50 to 100 BCCs anyway, so even if you do gwt them all in the field, it may not send btw. -
I want to upload my photos to my mac book to delete them on my phone to create more space. I am concerned that if I then re sync my phone after I deleted to photos, they will erase from my computer...is this true?
No. ONce it is save to your MAC it won't delete until you delete it off your Mac.

Mac book pro rebooting then shutting down
Everytime I turn my MAC book pro 13 inch laptop on, it takes me to the white screen with the grey apple logo and then starts to reboot. I'm not entirely sure of it's rebooting but something is loading and the background colour is white if that helps.
Once it's about a quarter of the way through loading it starts showing a loading sign and the bar that's only a quarter of the way filled disappears. Then the screen turns black and it shuts down. Every time I turn my laptop on this happens. Please help.Megan.west,
if you have Mac OS X 10.7 or newer installed, you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, select the First Aid tab if it’s not already selected, then press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it get past the white screen and progress bar now? -
Just synced to mac book pro and then after that my apps will not open what to do?
I synced to my Mac book pro which is only six months old and then once i finshed that and exited i tried to open my apps on iphone4 and none of the apps i have downloaded work the original apple ones do but none of my other ones...

Is there a way to attach more then one picture at a time in one email?
I use gmail as my default email on my phone.Since you have to email from the photos application and have to email from a single picture, you can only send one picture at a time.

I have set up sharing in W-7 and have identified folders to share.
