Mac Contacts changes are not updated on iCloud

My Mac and iPad are both linked to iCloud. Almost everything syncs perfectly. In Contacts I can make changes/additions on the iPad or in iCloud on the web, and the changes propagate to the others, including the Mac.
HOWEVER, if I make changes to Contacts on the Mac, they do NOT appear in iCloud or the iPad.
What do I need to check to find the problem?

This user tip might help you understand how accounts work with Contacts (Address Book).
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

After transport, changes are not updating

We are configured two clients as master client(009) and test client(008) in one DEV machine.
i performed one transport from 009 to 008.( i released through scc1 and imported in 008 through scc1) it's transported successfully.
but our consultant saying that, those changes is not updating in client 008.
i performed so many transports to 008 and also to prd. before and after.
then why the changes were not updating in 008, to that particular request?he created another request with the same issue and i transported it.again same problem. is there any thing to check from basis side?
(4.7E,mssql,widows 2003 server)

Hello,
Check the transport log. Even it is saying Sucessfully Imported, just open it, read it.
And check the size of the transport request also.
And another option is add this particular request with another request and transport it. Check for anything is happening....
I don't think anything balance has left from basis side....

Changes are not updating :(

Hi-
For the past few days, after I save changes (and these are simple text changes) they are not showing up on my webpage. The upload seems to be a little slow lately, but I'm not getting any error messages......it says it has uploaded. But....my changes are not there
Is anyone else experiencing this??? Any advice???

yes, empty your cache as kabing said!
a cache saves files from your website when you visit it often - therefore it loads faster. yet when you make changes to your website - they are then not recongnized and the old page is still showing!
so my advice, empty your cache everytime you publish!

and it publishing the same bid invitation its showing the same partner ie the prevoius requester

Actually we cloned standard bid process (bus2200) to PP process and when we r working with
standard bid process with stragic purchaser role and making changes to published bid , the changes r updating but in pp proceess the changes r not updating

I am puting new conacts on my phone and ipad but they are not being updated through to my mac any ideas?

Please try the following…

My website changes are not updated in my folder

I make changes to my website in IWeb, and when I save it to my folder, it is not updating. Nothing happens. I cannot figure out how to get it to properly save the new changes so I can update the actual website.

When you publish to a local folder, are you testing the site by double clicking the index.html file to launch it in the browser?
Make sure you empty the browser cache, hit the refresh button or add a ? to the end of the URL to get the latest version.

ICloud playlist are not updated correctly, iCloud playlist are not updated correctly

I have configured multiple iTunes playlists on my iMac (which is using iTunes Match).
Some of these are not properly updated on my iPhone 4S.
For example I had a playlist folder Genre and in there a Sports (just a simple playlist, not even a smart one).
I decided to move the Sports playlist to the toplevel so that I can more quickly access it when running.
Well this playlist just remains in the Genre folder on my iPhone... I tried killing the Music.app, rebooting the iPhone.
Nothing works.
I renamed the folder from Genre to Test on my iMac and now I see the Sports list in the Test folder on my iPhone.
What is going on ? How can I properly organize my playlists/smartplaylists so that they sync correctly (including re-arranging or renaming playlists) ?

When I disable iTunes match on my iPhone4S, quit the Music.app and then re-enable the iTunes Match on my iPhone4S it suddenly starts working. I don't want to do that everytime I changed my playlist on my iMac!!!

Changes are not updating in infotype 588

In 0001 subtype of infotype 0588 , when i try to copy the record into another or change the record,
i am changing the ESI Number ,but this new number is not updating. It is updating with same old number.
What may be the problem?
This problem is coming when i try to create the new record by copying the existing one.
If i create new record normally then it is working fine.

Changes are not updated in Vistex BSP application

Hi Friends,
Iam working on VIstex BSP Applications. I have a problem with data update.
I create a new Agreement Request using existing Agreement in BSP. In the Agreement Request I have different Rules and each Rule has some records in it. When I click on Save, initially all the records are alloted a temporary variable $$000000XX (XX is some number). After Save, from the Number Range object, these records are alloted permanent numbers. Up to here it works fine. When I go to any of the Rules tab and add a new record to that then this record is not saved properly. I mean when i go to the ECC (backend), it shows the newly added record, but when i click on the same tab again in BSP i could see in debugging, that
the record still has a temporary number to it. So it always inserts a duplicate record in ECC.
The issue is after i add a new record in BSP, Save the Agreement Request and come out of the transaction, then it saves properly. But when i add the record, Save and go the same tab again and change something to the newly added record, it is creating duplicates. And this is because it is not saving the record properly.
Also if I just come out of the BSP page and load it again after clicking on save, the save is done properly and no duplicates are created if i modify the newly created record.
Any suggestions to solve the issue will be appreciated.

InCopy changes are not updating assignments in InDesign?

I work for a magazine and have been having trouble with InCopy and InDesign. When the editor changes any text in InCopy, it sometimes does not appear on my end in the InDesign file. When I open the document and the message: "This document contains links to sources that have been modified. You can updated the modified links now, or update them later using the Links Panel." , I hit "update links" and either it just doesn't or everything disappears. How and why would this be happening? Is there some kind of setting I'm missing?
Has anyone come across to a similar situation?

What version of InCopy and InDesign are you using? Are they both the same version? Also, this sounds a bit like a server-related issue. How is your network speed? There's a lot of moving parts here so we need to try to isolate the issue. Can you provide some more details regarding your setup and if this problem started occurring all of a sudden or if you've been experiencing this issue from day 1.

Changes are not updated from ECC to CRM How to debug

QCs 1140049726 and 1140047459 were updated in P20 system to remove the WBS. This was done per normal P20 process and instructions. P20 system correctly reflects that QCs have no WBS value and the contracts are BOX - all is correct in P20.
CSP still shows these QCs as having a WBS assigned to them. This is incorrect. It has been over 24 hours since the P20 QCs were changed to reflect no WBS, but CSP still has not been replicated with the correct data.
How to proceed with it. How to debug from ECC to CRM.

Changes are not updating in Poplist

Hi All,
I have a poplist item in advanced table (table action). For the first time it displays correct data from database. I am updating the table which is associated with the poplist item. After save the data, poplist is not displaying saved data. But it is displaying previous data.
when i execute VO query i am getting saved data, but in poplist its displays previous data.
I need to display saved data.
Can any one tell me how to solve this?

Changes to BI web templates are not updated

Hello BI Experts,
I need to find a way to advise my portal resource on how to resolve a problem we are experiencing.
When we make a change to a web template, the changes are not updated and it appears that the old version is cached. The only way we can get the new template to show is to bounce EP.
Does anyone have suggestions where we can find the appropriate global settings to set the cache so that EP will retrieve new BI content as it is modified?

Hi Tom,
If there is some incorrect setting in the portal, the WAD templates does not get saved after the first Save action.
I am not sure of the setting which needs to be done. But I can provide you an alternate solution. If there is no other issue than the templates not getting saved, you can use this.
You can save your changed template using 'Save As' in a different name and then you can delete the original template. Afterwards, you can save this template with the actual name.
I hope this would solve your problem.
