Mac CS6 AAMEE and Deploystudio
Hi all
I am getting packages ready to deploy for the next semester and am having a problem with CS6. I am using the latest version of AAMEE to package up the various different versions I need. I am disabling the Adobe Air components and all seems to build OK. When it comes to deployment I am using Deploystudio to image and am adding the package to a workflow. The install fails and just sits seemingly forever saying "installer:PHASE:Running package scripts …installer%38.903333" (Picture athttp://www.flickr.com/photos/mikmac1/9266286395/). I have tried this as a postponed install, and not but it fails either way. I had the same problem last year but did not have time to troubleshoot it and ended up installing the package after install with ARD. I have seen a few people around various forums (fora) but no solution. I would like to resolve this issue before I have to move to AdobeCC.

Just re-installed a fresh copy of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and therefore cannot verify my copy. What should I do?
I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and that I should install a new version of AAM. But after downloading a fresh copy of AAM and doing the install, the program (AAM) still will not install. It is like an infinite loop!

I'm sorry but I am not on Creative Cloud. I'm still on CS6 and it was the Adobe Application Manager that wasn't working and I could not install the update to this application. My AAM version is: 8.0.0160
The link you provided was the update that I wanted to install but it does not work. A window shows up during that install that says:
We've encountered the following issues.
Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
and then the link to the Adobe Support Advisor which leads to a "Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" page.

but the dvd only got set-up.exe (only for windows)??? how can i install it to mac?
Student and Teacher Edition InformationBakz did you just purchase CS6? If so you may want to work with your reseller to obtain a Mac version of the license.

I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and did a migration of the content of the old laptop (also a Mac Book Pro) to the new one. Now I cannot start Photoshop CS6. When I am starting it I have a window "Adobe photoshop CS6 extended" opening requesting a connexion. When I am entering my password for the connexion the software crashes. How can I fix the problem?

Mac Pro FirePro D700 running CS6 OnLocation and Encore. Any Issues?
Hey everyone,
I'm attempting to help someone out with a purchase of a new Mac Pro. They do alot of video work and currently are using Adobe CC2014 as well as CS6 for OnLocation and Encore.
They would like to get a new Mac Pro running OS 10.10.2, the dual FirePro D700 6GB video cards, 1 TB SSD and the 64GB ram.
Doing some reading, it looks like the CC 2014 apps should work just fine, but what about the older CS6 OnLocation and Encore? are there any performance issues or stability issues with theses program with the FirePro D700?
Just like to hear some experiences before he takes the plunge and spends the money on the MacPro

I recently upgraded my Mac to Yosemite and I can't use the custom function (grayed out) in Image Trace Illustrator CS6 (physical version). Anyone else having this issue?
Custom will show automatically as soon as you just edit some options. So just go ahead, you don't need to select "custom"

A Cloud subscription SHOULD always show you the most recent updates, so you may then choose to do the install

I have purchased a new mac book pro and I'm trying to install CS6 from old mac. I have installed cs6 upgrade but, software is asking for cs4 number which is not being accepted.
I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

From Adobe: "If you have an older version of a product, you must order an upgrade instead of a swap." Because you have a CS6 suite your only option may be to subscribe to Creative Cloud in order to get current cross-platform versions of all their applications. CS6 updates and Mac write permissions
I have CS6 on a 2008 MacBook Pro and a 2010 iMac. I went to retrieve the recent update today and all went well on the MacBook Pro. However, on the iMac, I keep getting an error message that says that write permission needs to be given to the file path shown. I have checked the file path and all permissions are in order. I have checked the same file path on the Mac Book Pro and the two files paths contain the same permissions. So I am at a loss to solve this problem. Any suggestions?
Please note that the file path noted in the error does not exist. There is no library file under the user file denmaudes. To get to Application Support, I follow the route Mac/Library/ Application Support/Adobe. Once there, the permissions have been changed to read and write and the Apply to enclosed has been done. The result is the same. No update is possible.
If the file path name is correct, then I cannot find it.
At this point, should I just de-install CS6 and re-install? -

I don't know if you are on a personal PC/Mac or on a large environment. On my case I'm trying to use AAMEE to package and SCCM 2012 to deploy it over a considerable number of 64bits machines.
So, I have created a Deployment using AAMEE and one of the Exceptions was AdobeHelp. The command line that was provided on the Exceptionsinfo.txt after building the package is:

With the normal AAMEE package I will not be able to install all the Exceptions so I created a CMD file with a sequence to install the main MSI and then the Exceptions. To the provided command before mentioned I included the following:

My sequence goes well but then when trying to install AdobeHelp it sends an error that it can't find -silent and seems that it got frozen as it's still runing the installation as I'm writing.
If someone has any idea please share it with us as this could be an error on AAMEE with the command that it was provided to me after creating the deployment package.

Right to Left glitch in illustrator CS6, CC2014 and NO Text direction button.
On a MAC OSX machine and in my laptop (Windows 8 (64 bit) I am having issues with Illustrator CS6. The Text direction button that is supposed to be in the Paragraphs palette is missing. Is there something special I have to download in order to get it or something?
Thanks.I am now thinking it might be a license thing, but I would like someone from Adobe to confirm this (and possible explain why this is). I am a student, and I use the student license, furthermore the Windows 7 PC I was using was a school computer which is using an educational liscense(all of the computers at school which use and Educational Volumne License are missing this Text Direction button). However another student has the full version and has the Text direction, and when he makes files and brings them school, sometimes his files gives an error when he opens it and it says this photohosp file was made with a different text engine, and then procedes to get stuck in RTL. He has Windows 8 PC and the full version of PS CS6, that is the only reason I think of that is different.

Why are files not displaying in Files tab of DW Mac CS6?

I am a long time user of DW CS6 on Windows and recently have migrated to DW CS6 on the Mac. In my site, I have dozens of .htm files instead of .html files. When I look in the Files tab of DW Mac, none of the .htm files appear there. In fact, when I re-save an .htm file as an .html file, that does not appear in the Files tab either! They all appear fine in the Mac's Finder and can be opened there, but I like the convenience of the Files tab feature. Why is it not showing individual .htm and .html files?

If that doesn't do it, the only thing I can think of is a corrupt user account on your Mac.
That Reveal in Finder not matching the contents of a browsed to folder is something I've never seen before. From what I understand of the function, it's not a DW generated folder, but a function of your OS, just like browsing to it manually. If there is no duplicate, they should be identical. I'm wondering what happens if you open the Reveal In Finder version side by side with a browsed to version, then try dragging test files back and forth.
