Mac developer program

Hi,
Does membership to the Developer program give access to both Mac & iOS prerelease software or do you need to enrol in separate program's for each?
Thanks in advance

I want to create an app.  Can you tell me the difference between iOS developer program and the mac developer program?
Is the difference the device you're creating your app on, or for?

iOS Developer Program is only for those who wish to develop iDevice apps. Mac program is for those only developing Mac applications. If you wish to do both, then you need to enroll in both programs.

  • Enrolling Mac Developer Program Problem

    Hello,
I'm in the UK and tried to enrol for the Mac Developer Program via https://developer.apple.com/programs/
I selected "Mac Developer Program" for $99/year and came to https://developer.apple.com/programs/mac/
I pressed the "Enroll now" button and came to https://developer.apple.com/programs/start/standard/
I pressed "Continue" and came to https://developer.apple.com/programs/start/standard/create.php
I was already logged in with my existing Apple ID and
pressed "Continue" with Existing Apple ID which brought me to https://developer.apple.com/enroll/selectEnrollmentType.php?t=cm
Because we want to use our partnership business name, I pressed "Company" and came to https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage
I don't know why I'm here now. I see no reason to edit my account details.
    How do I continue?
    Thanks for any help!

    Please can anyone help?
    I think I've tried everything.
I don't know how to continue.
What might be the problem here?
    Thanks.

  • Does a subscription to the Mac Developer program include Lion or do I have to buy it separately?

I'm thinking about joining the Mac Developer program.  I'm also planniing to upgrade to Lion.  I know that beta releases of Lion were made available to developers.  Is the final release also available or do I have to buy Lion separately?  I don't want to buy Lion only to find out that it comes as part of joining the Mac Developers program.

You'll still need to buy the public release of Lion in any case.

  • Review the Mac Developer Program License Agreement

I have alread agreed the Mac Developer Program License Agreement in Member Center. But why when I validate my app for upload,it warned me again of this.
Anyone help me, because this problem i has been waiting for 16 days.
         Below is some screenshot:

This is not the place to discuss this. This is a user to user technical support forum for users of Apple products. This is not the forum for Apple developers.
You need to post your ssue and ask for help from your fellow developers in the developer forum.

  • IOS/MAC Developer Program Renewal missing - still prompting

Paid for renewal of both iOS and Mac Developer Programs on June 1.
Received email Invoice Receipt confirmation for payment, but my Apple Id account still warning me that my Developer Programs are about to expire.
    Anyone experiencing this?
I have a support call into Apple.

Same here, I emailed my invoice. I figured WWDC had them busy, still no work yet.

  • Do I automatically obtain a license after signing in the iOS Developer Program

Do I automatically obtain a license after signing in the iOS Developer Program? Is there a maximum number of licenses that can be obtained in the iOS Program?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
With one Apple ID, you can obtain one license for the iOS Developer Program, Mac Developer Program and Safari Developer Program. If you want more for other people, these people will have to register on the iOS Developer Program with their own Apple ID. You will get the license for the iOS Developer Program during the next 24 hours after submitting the request, depending on the time it takes to Apple to check the credit card

  • Mac Dev Program Agreement, Schedule 2

In reading the Mac Developer Program License Agreement, it refers to Schedule 2 (paid App agreement), which is not included in the PDF that is made available while signing up for membership. Schedule 1 (free App agreement) is included in the PDF download. Since making Apps available on the Mac App Store is the point of my membership, I would think Schedule 2 would be included. Have I take a wrong path somewhere and wandered onto the free App path, or must one join, and pay, before even seeing the paid App agreement?
    Thanks

Yes, you must sign up for the Mac Developer Program before you can read Schedule 2, which you will find through iTunes Connect. For those joining the program specifically to sell on the App Store, this means you must join, and pay, before you can read what it is you've joinied.

  • IOS Developer Renewal is trying to bundle in Mac Developer too.

    Hi,
I am attempting to renew our iOS Developer Program but half way through the process the Mac Developer Program is added and I can't remove it. There is a previous screen that gives the option to renew iOS, Mac and Safari Developer programs, I only select the iOS one but 2 screens after this the page attached is shown.
I'm purchasing this from Ireland so not sure if that specific version of the site is affected. We don't use the Mac program so any help in removing this would be appreciated.
    Cheers

  • I had bought the ios developer program but i don't have mac , just only laptop intel i-5 window7 only so how can i upgrade my iphone4 to ios5 beta

i had just get the ios dev member confirmation code but i only got the Asus laptop intel core i-5 450M window7 and don't know how to do with my iphone 4 to try the ios5 beta, please help me out

Developing for iOS requires a Mac; that's clearly stated in the program information. Whether there's any way to get the beta onto an iPhone from a Windows system is something we cannot discuss in these public forums. Ask in the developer forums you now have access to as a member of the iOS developer program:

oh thanx for the reply....actually i was worked in information technology sector company...i worked on java and mainframe platform....so if i buy an apple macbook pro and if it doesn't supports those developer programs i need to buy an pc......so i need to be confirmed....if u know abt this please explain me detailed...thanx again...:)
    Are you being serious?
If you've done any programming in Java then I'd really have hoped you already realised it is a platform independent programming language, that was Sun's original intention when they created it ,  to be able to run compiled code on any Java Virtual Machine regardless of the platform:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_%28programming_language%29
And as for "dot net" - do you not realise that this is purely a MS Windows development framework?!!
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework
Just to be clear, (and I realise I'm being picky here, given that English isn't likely to be your first language), they are not "developer programs", they are programming languages or frameworks.
And for further clarification, the Mac operating system does support Java development, and does not support .Net (unless you install Windows on it!)
I can't comment on the 'mainframe' bit you're referring to without more detail.

  • Ios Developer Program

Tried to join IOS Developer program as individual, decided before payment want to change to do as company but now cant go back to change to this option. Even refreshing and relogging in brings me back to payment part of individual program. Please advise how I can rectify this

    One last question!
If I still go ahead and purchase the iOS Developer program now...can I setup all my details (banking information etc) on a PC?
I have a mate with a mac so I'll login to his mac but he's away for a few weeks.  Would rather purchase this now on my PC and setup all my details so it's ready to go.
    Is this possible?

  • IOS Developer Program compatible with PC

    Hi,
I had an idea to develop an app and decided to create it myself.
Is the IOS developer program compatible with PC's or will I have to purchase a Mac?
    Thanks,

If this is an application that can use a game engine like Shiva or Unity3D, you can develop the entire game and test on a PC. You will still need a Mac (or run OS X from VMWare on PC) to build the application for submission to the app store, as well as to sign and deploy to your test device.
