MAC - FLASH CS5 - CV et book
Bonjour,
Je souhaite réaliser un CV et un book flash : CV envoyé par mail, book présenté sur un PC portable (1024 x 600). Je me débrouille en flash mais ne suis pas une spécialiste. Et en web encore moins… J'ai pensé faire le book en 2560 x 1440 (27 pouces) si j'avais à le présenter sur un ordi de cette résolution. Puis j'ai conclu que c'était une mauvaise idée : poids, plus de travail si dimensions différentes du CV (éléments communs), et surtout si je décide de faire un site ensuite avec le book comme base ça sera beaucoup plus simple s'il est déjà aux bonnes dimensions…
Ces bonnes dimensions, viables pour garantir une bonne durée de vie au site, justement quelles sont-elles ? J'y ai beaucoup réfléchi, ne voulant pas me tromper dans le long travail qui m'attend. Vu toutes les résolutions existantes, j'ai cherché les statistiques 2014. J'ai calculé que 955 x 600 pour le book comme pour le CV (résolution de 1024 x 768) engloberait les résolutions les plus répandues, évitant au maximum la création d'ascenseurs en largeur et longueur, donc la perte des internautes. Ainsi je pense toucher 75 % d'entre eux. Et le 1366 x 768, largement en tête depuis 3 ans, a sûrement un bon avenir, améliorant cette statistique au fil des ans. Risquer de perdre 1/4 des internautes est un moindre mal s'il n'y a pas de solution parfaite en web… Et optimiser pour la résolution la plus répandue (même si elle croît beaucoup) au détriment des autres serait une erreur. Que pensez-vous de mon raisonnement ?
J'ai déjà été longue désolée, mais j'ai d'autres questions… Est-il sûr que mon flash ne va pas être automatiquement aggrandi (et pixellisé) dans les résolutions supérieures, mais qu'il restera toujours à 100 % avec des bandeaux qui habilleront automatiquement les côtés gauche, droit et bas ? Comment définir la couleur de ces bandeaux ou une texture ? Prennent-il par défaut la couleur d'arrière-plan du flash ?
Un flash doit se tester sur les différents navigateurs comme pour Dreamweaver ou l'aspect sera le même partout ? Quelles pourraient être les différences ? Si risque au niveau des polices on peut le contourner en les transformant en formes ?
Enfin, pour mon CV, vous me conseilleriez d'exporter en .swf / .html + .swf / projecteur PC + projecteur mac ? En quel Flash Player ? En 11 la plupart des recruteurs pourra ouvrir ce CV ? En-dessous je ne sais pas si tous les effets de CS5 passeront… Je prévois aussi une version pdf.

No need to restrict your choice to the preset Pages Templates. Do a web search and choose a Word template. Pages will open Word documents and templates. Or design your own:
This is a Table I inserted into a blank Pages Word Processing document. Format the date column in Inspector > Table > Format > Cell Format. Select the first Date cell,then drag the fill handle down to increment the dates.

FLASH CS5.5 Fails to launch on Mac OS 10.6.8
Hi. Have seen some similar posts, but not helped. Running on brand new iMacs all with same image, some work, some don't. The following is what I copied from the amt3.log file in the /tmp folder. Any ideas?

Mac Projector Crashes When exported From Flash CS5.5
Something strange that i noticed, when i had exported a presentation for a Mac,
on a 64 bit windows 7 using flash cs5.5.
the applicaton gets the paths of a few swfs from an XML file
and loads them one after the other.. there is a small bit of interactivity.
.. tested this projecter on various versions of MAC, it crashes often,crashes earlier if i switch applications. what follows here is a part of a report that was generated on an OS X 10.7.3,
works fine if the projector is exported from flash cs5.
i need it to work when exported from flash cs5.5.. any suggestions on what i need to change in my application so that it works when exported from flash cs5.5?

[Flash CS5.5 / Air 2.6] Movieclips not showing when .air app is run on Mac
Hello,
I created an application in Flash CS5.5 using Adobe Air 2.6. When I test the app on my computer (where it was written) everything works fine. When I publish the application and run the .AIR on my computer everything works fine as well. The issues comes about when I attempt to install and run my AIR application on a Mac operating system. In this case when the application runs some graphics are visible while some aren't. Some movieclips/buttons are visible while others aren't. One example of this is the buttons. None of the buttons in the entire application are visible. When the user clicks the area where the button should be the button click event is fired and the app acts accordingly (i.e. the main menu button which can't be seen still sends the user to the main menu). What could be the problem?
I had thought of just converting the application to strictly Flash without AIR but I require AIR for the file system api as well as a couple other api components.

DW036 is from conflicting processes so I have tried launching activity monitor and trying to quit flash player from firefox; which actually has created more errors.
To date I have not found anything for DW050 error apart from http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1001241. Suggests installing to another directory as previous install is not properly removed; to which doesn't really suggest any helpful advice to me.
I have tried removing the whole CS5.5. Master suite over six times using both the adobe removal software and cleanup. Also using terminal.
Really want to use flash; anyone got any ideas??As per me the issue is with the Flash player , with the CS5.5 installation the flashplayer was included but later on an update came and your flash player got updated(a higher version)
so when you try and install the CS5.5 the flash playre causes the conflict , hence uninstall the flash player following this artcile and then re-install the app , it should work

Before I purchase Flash CS5 Classroom in a Book (Kindle edition) I want to be certain that the tutorial files included with the book's print edition are available online for the ebook edition. The second suggestion you made gave: HTML listed "Windows explorer".
Do I have to change that to Photoshop CS5 or.....

Flash CS5 crash and corruption during previewing attempt Mac OSX 10.6.3
I had been using Flash CS5 as a trial for the past 6 days without issues. Yesterday, I made a change to a file, and went to preview it, as I had several times before. This time, when I slected preview movie, Flash crashed umexpectedly. When I launched it again, it came up looking very corrupted - window as messed up, and any an all attempts to load any of the workspaces resulted in Flash crashes. I had to completely uninstall it including all prefs to get it to work again. Anyone having similar issues? I am hesitant to try a preview movie again.

Embed Flash cs5.5 Mac movie in PC PowerPoint 2003?
I completed an interactive animation using Flash CS5.5 on my Mac. It needs to be imported/embedded/inserted in PowerPoint 2003 on a PC while retaining navigational capabilities.
While it works in the PowerPoint presentation on the PC it was created on, if it's thrown on a junk drive (both files .swf and PowerPoint on the drive) or emailed for review, all the actions are ignored, it jumps around in the wrong order or it gets stuck.
Need this file to be more "mobile" and work correctly.
Help?Now flash file I ws working on crashing whenever I test movie.

Flash cs5 Timeline tools with MAC
I have learned from a video tutorial (Flash CS5 in the Family 23: Banner Ad Part 1)
to use the F5 key to set the length of a time line of a particular image.
When using the F5 key on the MAC keyboard, it will only allow for the audio to be worked with.
I've tried Apple+F5, Option+F5, Ctrl+F5 etc.
What am I missing?click edit/keyboard shortcuts and create your own shortcuts or, even easier, right click over the timeline (or anything else in flash) to see a context menu that will let you do what you want.

Finally I have been able to install 10.2 and 10.3 following your procedure.
For 10.3 the steps are the same but the files are different:
Download globalplayer.swc from here (change the name of the file)

Download the xml config from here in one of the first comments (if the link fails ask me and I will provide it for you)

Now 10.3 and 10.2 appear in the target on the flash publish settings but when you test your swf on the IDE or on the Projector it show the version MAC 10,1,52,14, On the browser of course it shows your current player version plugin.
I haven't been able to test 10.3 on the IDE, but for the projector you have to install the latest stand alone player you get it here

When you publish a projector you get MAC 10,3,181,34
I suppose updating the flash player on the IDE must be some serious matters... -
I have a student version of Flash CS5.5 for Windows. Now I use a macbook. I cannot seem to be able to install or use it on my mac.
That is expected. Serial numbers are platform specific. You need to get CS6 and make the platform switch.

Horrible drawing performance in Flash CS5.5 compared to CS3 on Mac
I have decided (again) to try and move on to a later version of Flash. I was on CS3 for a very long time, and so far did not have any reason to upgrade mainly because the new versions are just terrible. But I never give up. So I was told that Flash CS5.5 is the most OK to upgrade to, and with some extensions I can get it running almost like CS3. So I setup the app, the shortcuts, the extensions, the workspace, it takes like half a day, and then I discover, that I literally cannot draw on the damn thing with my Wacom pen. Because the performance is just cr***p !!! Drawing tools in Flash are so bad anyway, but now it is even worse. When I draw a curved line Flash CS5.5 just cannot process it and creates many corners with straight lines. It is obviously seen when drawing fast lines - look at the attached pictures how CS5.5 performs much much worse than CS3 (I have reduced Smoothing to 0 to get a clear idea of what's happening). What is the matter here? It isn't even funny! We buy all those new technologies for thousands of dollars to discover, that I can draw better with a mouse on Windows Paint from year1990?!
I'm on MacBook Pro 17" i7 QuadCore, 2.3 Mhz, 16 GB RAM, and the Wacom tablet works perfect on all other apps. I assume there is no way that the problem is somewhere outside Flash CS5.5 itself, especially that CS3 shows much better results. I am gonna try Flash CS6 just to compare, but I didn't like many things there too, so probably I'm going to stay in Flash CS3 forever...

Flash CS3:I have the latest Wacom drivers for my model - it's the same driver for all Intuos and Cintiq models. Besides, as I said - the performance is perfect in all other software, except Flash. And also as I said - in Flash CS6 the performance is better than CS5.5, but not better than CS3... It is acceptable though, because it's rare that I will draw such fast lines - in my case I can see a clear difference in performance if I draw fast or slow. I have tried to compare results on my older MacBook Pro and I get similar results...

Flashresource file missing. Mac flash pro cs5. I have reinstalled 3 times, same message each time
Hey guys, can't find help anywhere so I am asking here. I work for a small tv station who recently purchased Flash Professional to learn. They want me to learn it and create some animation for bumpers yadda yadda. Anyways here's the problem. Every time I install it it seems fine and works for a couple of days. Suddenly one day it won't open and all it says in the message is "flashresource file missing. please reinstall flash " So I say uh oh and reinstall. Works great so I think ok problem solved. Then a couple of days later it does it again. I have gone through this 5 times, each time reinstalling works for a few days or week then blammo suddenly "flashresourcefile is missing. please reinstall flash" I am completely stumped. After effects, premiere pro, soundbooth, all work great. Flash professiional is the only one doing this. HELP!!
