Mac Flash player install - actionlist not found

Hi:
I'm behind all kinds of firewalls and other internet security stuff. I can't do anything about it. IT won't help me. How do I install the latest Flash player? I keep getting the error "Actionlist not found". I think it's network security. Any ideas?

I have Windows 7, 64 bit, with Internet Explorer 11. On the day before Thanksgiving everything was working fine. I received a greeting on 11/27 and was unable to open it - I was told I needed to install Adobe Flash Player - assumed it was an update - but since that time I've been unable to open any of the puzzles on Shockwave, or cards from greeting card providers - probably some other things, but I haven't found out about them yet. Every time I try to open any of these programs, I get a message that I need to install the flash player. My control panel shows that I have Adobe Flash Player 15 Active X, 6 MB, version 15.0.0.239 installed and the add-on manager under tools says it's enabled - but it escapes me what it's enabled to do other than drive me batty and waste all my time. I've rebooted the computer, closed all IE windows, numerous times after uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it - all a waste of time. Is there any advice out there? is Active X Filtering something that should show up under Tools, Manage Add-Ons? If so, I think I had it earlier this week, but it's gone now. In my efforts to eliminate the Flash Player so I could reinstall a working copy, I may have uninstalled too much. It's not listed under Programs or under Tools at this time.

Flash Player installed but not working....

had a virus 3 days ago which was resolved with assistance from Microsoft. Now Adobe Flash does not work (when I go to Youtube, it says I do not have the latest version. I have unistalled, restarted, installed at least 10 times. Sites still say I need the latest version. I do see Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X in the programs in my control panel. I have downloaded version 10.1.102.64. I am running IE8 (i assume 32-bit since it does not say 64-bit) on Windows Vista. I have checked the files in my windows/system32/macromed/flash folder and it show the following files:
Flash Player Trust folder
Flash10I.ocx
FlashInstall
FlashUtil10I_ActiveX.dll
FlashUtil10I_ActiveX
install
I had turned off my Norton AV and firewall. I have also made sure that all security has been set to medium at that java scripting shows as enabled...

Hi, I see you've been on quite a few forums advocating Firefox & Chrome. All this does is give them a browser that perhaps Flash Player would be performing as it should. But it doesn't solve their issue with IE.
And referring users to follow procedures meant for another user under different circumstances and computer configurations
is not in their best interest.
All you are doing is confusing the person, since the required information about their computer has not been obtained.
You may want to rethink posting referrals, I could do that myself, since I'm on a lot of threads here.

Latest Flash Player Install is not working

Hello, I need some help please. I have been through the install process at least seven times if not more, all previous versions of flash player have been deleted, and it is not working. Sites that I regularly use are still wanting me to install the software that I know I have installed. Even more frustrating is that there is no other way to contact Adobe about this unless one wants to pay $39 to speak with someone, which I refuse to do when it is their product that is not working right. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I guess the installer from the main download page was just a downloader, and for whatever reason it didn't work for me.

Flash Player Installed and not working for Snow Leopard

I recently installed Snow Leopard a couple days ago and everything seemed fine, but now tonight the flash player doesn't work. I use flash player for my homework for my Philosophy class and all of a sudden it doesn't work, I don't get it. I've installed, re-installed, updated, etc adobe flash player and my mac and nothings worked, I don't know whats going on. Please help.

Can find Flash player in programs to uninstall off control panel, but no where else, computer will not play any videos and ask to down load flash player every time.

Flash Player (with the exception of the sandalone "Projector") isn't a program. It's a plugin. While it does should appear in the Add/remove list, it's NOT located in Program Files.
You'll find it in C/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash
and (on 64 bit systems) C/Windows/SysWOW64/Macromed/Flash

I have been prompted to install Flash Player 11 on Amazon. I attempted to install it from your website. After following all instructions, it says that Flash Player 11 was successfully installed. However, when I go back to Amazon (or any other site that plays video) it says that I need Flash Player 11 as if I never installed it! I tried uninstalling Flash Player using your uninstall function from your website, then attempted to install Flash Player again with the same results: it says that Flash Player was installed correctly, but nothing seems to recognize it when I try to play video. Please help!

I cannot get any videos to play on my windows 8. It says that I need flash player, but flash player is installed and it won't let me download. I have tried many troubleshooting steps on the checklist with no joy. Please help.

PS I'm still new to Macs so the more broken down the better.

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
The current stable version is Download 11.7.700.169.
