Mac Laptop dies with all my Adobe info; Admin has the serial codes

I've recently replaced my mac laptop and before the old one died, I did the migration and it seemed to go through successfully. On opening any software, @I kept getting a pop up window for purchasing an update but thought this was a sales pitch through CC. Unfortunately, the "trial" ended today and I'm not able to open any of my software. It's asking for the serial numbers to my Adobe Creative Cloud and I believe I just accepted the invite and didn't have to enter a serial code. Am I missing something because I've never received a serial code for this Cloud set.

migrating adobe software is often problematic. adobe software should be properly installed.
at this point, uninstall clean and then install your software per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

I have bought a Apple iMac with Retina 5K display yesterday! But today I read something negative about this Imac regarding to to Adobe Creative Cloud, - so I would ask if I can use this iMac with Retina 5K with all my Adobe Creative Cloud programs??
I have not unpack it yet, so I would be happy if you could tell me if I should keep it or exchange another Mac if this iMac with Retina 5K display does not work OK in Adobe Creative Cloud. I mostly use the programs Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Muse.

It may depend on the plugin that is loaded into your browser. However, right click on a PDF and select the Open With option and go to the default button to select Acrobat as the default. That might do it.

I purchased Microsoft Office for Mac through the Apple website.. I have downloaded all from the disk into my Mac, no problem with all the other Word etc, but Outlook is asking for the key number: I have put it in but its obviously not the right one...????

unfortunately - you can not. you can't even buy outlook by itself at microsoft's own website.
does it have to be outlook? maybe you can get away with using something else that's outlook compatible.
how about trying Thunderbird for Mac OS?
or maybe you can call apple and let them know you purchase the wrong version - they might give you a break and just pay the difference for the home and business version.

Only you can make that determination. All things being equal the 2.5 GHz model is slower.

Each Apple ID has it's own library in iTunes. If you tried to sync his music to your device, then it will not only wipe your information on your phone, but can affect your sons. Make sure you are logged into iTunes with your Apple ID and restore your device from a previous backup.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

No idea if Windows will do it, but you can run Windows without Bootcamp & have OSX available at the same time, which should give you all the Monitors that OSX uses.

To switch, I am afraid you will have to reinstall using the other one.
But that should hardly be necessary.

She was as frustrated as I and was going to kick the problem "upstairs." She felt that by now iCloud had been out long enough for them to have resolved the issues without having to resort to fixes from the outside (so in essence, I would have to say that she agrees with you that they should be able to provide a resolution for their own software).
I have more than just that issue on my MBP (iPhoto keeps asking me to "upgrade" everytime I open it, old Safari windows open when I restart or turn the machine on from a shutdown....I think it's possessed. I'm able to do everything that I want to do, but it's very annoying....) and so I'll be working with her again when she returns to work on Monday.
