Mac mail doesn't work anymore on my macbook pro bu...

I use the Mail program on my devices for email and it works fine for my btinternet mail and mac mail on my iPhone, iPad, and iMac. However, on my macbook pro only the btinternet mail connects. My mac mail account comes up with the following error message: "The MobileMe IMAP server “mail.mac.com” rejected the password for user..." It works fine on all my other devices.
What's going on? How do I fix it? It used to work fine too - this problem has only strarted relatively recently.

Now I have found that BT Yahoo sends a lot of my personal emails to 'Bulk' on Mac Mail whereas they used to appear in my Mail Inbox...and I thought friends were just wern't sending me emails!
Prior to Infinty the majority of my 'Bulk' was credit check/viagra/gambling junk and spam but now I have to check the Bulk Folder and/or go online to BT Yahoo WebMail just to make sure I haven't missed important emails!
Whats happening BT?

Wifi doesn't work anymore on my macbook pro

I got on my laptop and on the interent then i closed the laptop adn put it away for, lets say, 15 min and opened it back up again and the airport was turned off. I tried turning the wifi on again and it wouldn't even make the selection. I tried restarting the laptop and going in through the preferences but it never works. It just says there it no wifi hardware installed... I have noidea what to do anymore. Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Try quitting the Mail app like I describe then reset your iPad. To quit an app double click the Home button to reveal the app switcher. Flick up on the page preview of the app you want to quit. The page preview will fly away and disappear. That quits the app. The reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

I've got a macbook pro retina. I've received it with mavericks pre-installed, I've done the update to 10.9.1.
I got a google app account it was use previously with mac mail on mac os X 10.8.
I've resetup it with the all mail settings imap shown. The "Auto-Expunge on" is set to "- Immediately update the server. (default)"
The problems are:
- each time I delete a message in inbox it re-appear if I click on another folder (like sent) and go back to inbox.
- if I move a message from inbox to a local folder it doesn't move it, It copy it. Before mavericks that feature was working.
Could you tell me what are the right settings in google app mail to set to work well with mavericks?

You may have to pack up the unit and take it to a 'specialist' if you are within a resonable proximity of an Apple Store with 'genius bar' calling ahead and plan the trip for when you could get an appointment, may be best. Or at least most cost-effective if they can help troubleshoot the issue and narrow it to one cause. Is the computer still under AppleCare coverage?
I'm not sure if there is a way to make an external display work via adapter by default when you can't use the main display to choose an external, but if you (or a genius at Store) could do that, troubleshooting the rest would be less difficult.
And get an estimate from more than one capable qualified repair facility if the first numbers you hear are scary... If the unit is old and out-of-warranty, other options to restore it are out there. Depending on where you live, the odds will vary.
I had fine results from 'wegenermedia.com' thousands of miles away, via mail, with portable Mac repairs. I've repaired & restored over 150 desktop Macs with hardware problems, but have no experience with newer portables or early tightly-packed iMac designs where getting good parts can be hard; since I am not in the business and have no budget... All that I repaired I donated to charity thrift stores in working order, free.

Mac Mail doesn't work

I have two mail servers: Cox Communications and Earthlink. I've had problems with both of them, but the problems were fixed...until today. Today, I finally got Cox working the way it's supposed to work, but I still can't send messages with Earthlink. I just finished spending maybe 45-minutes with Earthlink, and the technician I talked to said that he had checked all of the settings, and that everything was okay, EXCEPT that the settings don't stay fixed. Several times he inserted the proper settings, but some of them kept being replaced by incorrect ones. He finally came to the conclusion that there may be some corruption in my Mac Mail program and that i should contact Apple for further assistance. Well, maybe that's what I'll have to do, but I am no longer covered by their Protection Plan, so I'm trying here first to see if anyone has any ideas.
When I send a test E-mail to myself using Earthlink, the message is never received. Earlier in the evening, such messages were put in my Outbox, but not now. I don't know what happens to them. I have no problems with any other programs.
Any suggestions?

I FIXED IT! I found a marvelous article (OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages) that was both understandable and helpful. With it, I fixed the problem that the technicians at Cox Communications or Earthlink were unable to solve. Although the article is ten-pages long (I printed it), I didn't have to get past the top of the second page. The lesson here is to try Google when you have a problem. It keeps getting better and better. You'd be surprised at the questions it can answer.

External DVD doesn't work via USB on macbook pro

My old internal DVD drive in macbook pro doesn't work. I want to use my old DVD burner from my old PC. I connect it to enclosure for disk.
This stuff i plug in to USB in my macbook. It can read CD/DVD but not burn CD and DVD. What can I do? Is there any drivers for USB to make it work?

CS4 doesn't work after re-install MacBook Pro

today i re-installed my MacBook Pro, after making a backup of all my programs via TimeMachine. After the re-installation i put all my programs back, but CS4 won't work anymore… I get the error code 150:30.
I tried to find and throw away the netflex-folder in the Library, but it's not in the library at all. I tried other steps on the Adobe-site as well, but nothng works.
I have a icensed product, but the install-disc are at my house in Holland and i am living in Rabat at the moment.
What to do?

ohhhhhhhh i thought u meant when you stand by your laptop it disconnects like your body was interfering with the signal lol. hmmmm. thats an odd one. sometimes computers of any kind have what i call "idiot moments" where they forget how to do something simple (like reconnect to the internet)
maybe try reconnecting your macbook pro to your internet starting from scratch that may solve it

More info on exactly what steps you are taking to "bring up" Mail & what you see will help us help you.
That said, it sounds like you might be confusing your OS X user account & its password (what gives you access to the computer) with an email account identity & its password (what gives you access to an account with an email service such as .Mac).
When you turned on your Mac for the first time, you were asked to establish a user account by entering a long & short name for the account & a password used to access that account. These could be anything you like.
When you set up an email account, you must do something similar, but the two are not the same. You must sign up for a free or paid email account with some provider & establish your user identity & password with that provider before you can use it with Mail.

Try removing the plugins you have installed and see if that fixes it. Perhaps one or more of the plugins are conficting with each other.
