Mac Mail PhotoBrowser hangs the app

Just noticed that clicking on the Photobrowser Icon in Mac Mail hangs the entire application. Apparently it is looking somewhere for the browser that it can no longer find. Is there a place to set up the link for Photo Browser. I know it is supposed to go to iPhoto library, or Aperature (which I don't use). Is there somewhere in Preferences where this can be set or is this a bug in the application itself?

Log into your apple ID and edit your personal information, where email can be changed as well. All applications as itunes stores, apple store and icloud use this same apple ID, so be aware of this.

Recently, my Mac Mail keeps requesting the passwords on my accounts every few minutes, and will not allow me to send messages using Mac Mail (the message says that the outgoing server was rejected. I cannot edit the outgoing server, and the keychain will not save my passwords (the ports are valid). How can I change the outgoing server to send emails, and how can I avoid having Mail request my passwords every 2 minutes? Verizon, as usual, will not provide support to iMacs.

Is there an email saved in your drafts or outbox folder? I suspect that Mail is continually trying to send it, and each time Google is rejecting the email message.
You can open the message and then delete it from your Outbox folder. Then try removing all @gmail email addresses from it and seeing whether you can send to the other folks. I suspect that will work.
With email, if an SMTP server *can* verify email addresses, sometimes it will and it will refuse to send messages. If a message has to be relayed across servers, no verification is done, and you'll get a bounce if an email address is bad.

My phone tells me that I have 12 updates but when I press update all or update any individually nothing happens at all. It also does not ask me for my password any more but my iPad and mac book do.
I have signed in and out of the app store and the password is correct. I have tried both kinds of reboot but that did nothing. I have tried to update the apps by connecting phone to Mac book pro...it shows the apps being download on the Mac book and says it will sync them to my phone but it does not. Everything else on my phone works fine.
Any ideas ...Please!

Thanks for that babowa. If I add my Yahoo account it just goes straight to MacMail and says I already have an account. There seems to be no basic problem with mails going between Macmail and Yahoo. It is just the folders that have disappeared, while MacMail was out of action. I don't think those particular folders were ever on the Yahoo mail that I access through BT, they were just on the MacMail under "Yahoo" as opposed to "On my Mac". I am worried in case I lose what I already have if I press "Restore" from my back up. As you can see, I am not exactly good at this!

If you are using Address Book, open it, create a new Group, select all you contacts by click the top one while holding down the shift key and then select the last one. Drag the contacts to the group, then send an e-mail to the group.

I previously downloaded a trial version of Adobe Pro and had used it the last 30 days. Today I just clicked on the link from my purchase confirmation and downloaded some type of installer. Ah! Unfortunately, I'm on a company computer and can't just try these things myself. If that's the issue, I can ask our admins and they'll do it, but I want to make sure I've exhausted anything that could be a small fix.

The easiest way is to copy the iTunes folder from your old PC to your MB (put it in the Music folder as a subfolder), along with the other valuable data on the old PC. Or restore it from a backup of your old PC. Then authorize iTunes on the MB to the same account you had on the PC. When you sync it will warn you that your content will be deleted, but it will be replaced with the same content from the MB. Before syncing you should also make sure there is at least one entry in iCal and Address book on the MB (assuming you sync to Outlook or equivalent on the PC) to assure that your contacts and calendar entries will move over correctly.
Al alternative that is less effective is to connect the iPhone to the MB without syncing, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes File menu. This willl copy purchases music, videos and apps, but not ripped tracks from the iPhone to the MB.

You can get faster help by posting the Mac OS version you have and more details about your iMac. They have been in continuous productionsince 1998 with four distinct procesor families, and each ahve different troubleshooting steps. If you called a Ford dealer about a car problem, the first thing ithey will ask is "which Ford model and year?" Same deal here.
The processor description is found when you do "About this Mac" and will be a good start for identifying your iMac model; the Mac OSX will be there too.

You have to download the apps from the Mac App Store using the Apple ID that you registered your MacBook Pro with. Should be same Apple ID that you used to access this forum.

I set up my mac mail account on the computer using all the same info as the phone but I still can't get mac mail on the computer.

Ever since icloud came out my desktop has been a traffic jam of pop ups. Apple Passwords are recognized in one app but rejected in another. I'm never able to set up my .mac mail it just won't receive.
The new iphoto is a complicated mess. Once you email photos to a friend you are stuck in the mail portion and have to close out to get out.

Mac Mail Crashing all the time

I'm running a Macbook Pro Intel Leopard 10.5.6 and as of about 2-3 days ago Mac Mail is now crashing every time I open it. It will stay open for a while and then crashes. I have removed any email bundles and still crashes.
There seems to also be a mobile me syncing problem because anytime I run mobile me with Mac Mail open, it crashes. If I leave the mobile me set to sync manually then Mac Mail will stay open longer but has crashed a couple of times with this setting selected.
However, if I set mobile me to sync automatically then Mac Mail crashes every time mobile me starts syncing.
I have ran system updates and it tells me I am update on all software.
Any Help???

I did try another user account and Mac Mail worked there fine. So, I guess it would be my main account? I did try to set aside that Envelope Index file that they referred to in the above article but that did not work.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
