Mac Mini: Bluetooth Module (Creating a Buzz)

Question

I have a high pitched buzzing sound coming from my Mac Mini's audio out right channel whenever the Bluetooth module is active. I have tried numerous recommendations and suggestions, but nothing seems to eliminate the buzz. Outside of disabling the Bluetooth or purchasing an USB audio interface. This situation is proving to be a disappointing one. Primarily because of the indented use for the Mini as a digital music and movie storage and playback unit, is being compromised by me having to hover over my computer instead of relaxing from the sofa without obtrusive wires being everywhere. Please... any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sean, you might try a ferrite ring which should be obtainable from Radio Shack. It'll be about an inch in diameter and you thread the speaker cable through it and wrap a few turns around it. This will act as an RF (Radio Frequency) choke, filtering out frequencies above the audio level (ie, the BT signal which is causing the interference).
Ferrite rings are typically used by radio hams to cut down signal breakthrough into audio or tv equipment. The size of the ring and the number of turns of the cable will determine how much filtering it applies.
