Mac Mini was unplugged while on. How should I proceed?

My Mac Mini Server edition (2011) was accidentally unplugged while on. It rebooted fine, but I'm a bit paranoid about any unfinished procedures causing cruft in the operating system/hardware. Is there anything I should do to be sure that this incident has not negatively impacted my hardware/software such as resetting the PRAM, PMU etc.?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

"Rapid blackout" shutdown is not good, but OSX performs several "verification checks" at startup just in case there are any incomplete operations ate shutdown. Chances are those procedures were busier than normal during the next startup, but it recovered.
As to the rest of the hardware rapidly shutting down, wait for any signs of issues in my opinion.
In short, you are probably fine. Just keep an eye on it for a day or so.
In addition ... pulled power plug is not the only way to lose power while operating. Blackouts (power out for several seconds) or brownouts (power blinking for a split second) or power dips (power seems always on it dips below the 120 V level) can cause issues.
You can buy a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) that uses bateries to supplement the "power dips" or replace wall power during brownouts and blackouts.
Units sufficient fo a macmini (500 VA units) can be had for $60.

Ok so my DVD-R on my G4 Mac Mini is shot ...how much to replace?

I have the infamous problem of none of my cd/dvd able to read from the disk drive. I tried the reset thingy (unplug, how power when plug in power cord, turn on) no avail
So has anyone actually brought this in to shop? What is the average cost? If under $100 I may bite it and make the replacement.
I need to do Turbo Tax soon and caught in a bind (also wanted to upgrade to Leopard but that may be shot as well)

Firstly, make sure you have completed the correct PMU reset procedure which applies to G4 minis (posted below). Failure of the optical drive can be due to the power management unit. Thus, to reset the PMU in your G4 mini:
-Unplug all cables from the computer, including the power cord.
-Wait 10 seconds.
-Plug in the power cord while simultaneously pressing and holding the power button on the back of the computer.
-Let go of the power button.
-Press the power button once more to start up your Mac mini.
If that doesn't work, try a lens cleaner to make sure that the problem with the drive is not simply dirt or debris on the lens. The slot-loading drives seem a little prone to this.
If that doesn't resolve it, replacement drives via an Apple Approved Service provider are likely to be around $150 or so, plus some labor charges. You can, of course opt to replace the drive yourself, in which case a replacement bare superdrive can be had for $99 or $109 from sources such as OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/superdrive/), and while fitting is a bit fiddly, is not beyond the capabilities of most people, with a little care and reference to any of the many on-line guides to taking a G4 mini apart.
Alternatively, as suggested, an external drive may be the best option, with a good basic choice being the drive at http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/MRBFWU2D115/. This drive may need the third-party PatchBurn utility though, and may not allow ready booting of the system for use with macOS installers,

I have a similar issue.
Mine shows in iTunes and in PC. It will also allow me to sync.
But when I do sync, it runs fine for about 10 minutes, then I get an error similar to yours with a directory location. It keeps syncing and will periodically show the errors. Then it will lock up.
I have run chkdsk, awindows utility (chkdsk [driver letter]: /R /F) over the iPod when it has been restored and it found nearly 400mb of bad sectors.
I though this would fix the problem but is has not. When I run chkdsk over it again, it does not find anymore bad sectors (it does however tell me that it has 400mb of bad sectors logged.)
I am banging my head against a wall trying to fix this, or even find out what the issue really is. I assume it is a dodgey hard drive, but I do not want to replace it and still have the problem.

Finally got round to buying an iPhone 4, really excellent to start with. The sharing of music from my Mac Mini was excellent. ios6 update has ruined all that! The artist view miss's out most of my music and the sharing sometimes doesn't work at all!

How do I get this feature working again? I am reluctant to move to iTunes 10.7 because I don't trust Apple at the moment.

My suggestion:
1) Always using MAC AIR with the power plug in.
2)Don' let the power level of battory fall under 30% percentage.
3)If the MAC can't be recharged now, just let it be with power plugged, WAIT...

I have tried with a wired USB keyboard and mouse using a single screen. Powered up with option pressed. No change.
Reset SMC no change

Run the Apple hardware test to see what it tells you. Run the extended test when prompted, which can take awhile.

Run the License Service Update.
Mac OS X 10.7 and above:
a. Double-click the LicenseRecovery111.dmg It will extract the folder. Open the folder.
b. Double-click your Hard Drive.

d. Double-click Utilities.
e. Double-click Terminal.
f. Type sudo python
Note: There is a space following “python”. Do not press Return.
g. Drag LicenseRecover.py from the LicenseRecovery111 folder onto the Terminal Window and press Return.

System Preferences->BlueTooth and turn it off. Restart and see if that fixes the problem.

adobe forums, only to discover Adobe doesn't allow a primary admin to ever leave. This is rather silly as people leave workplaces, they don't stay for life. An answer in a different forum on this site said one must cancel their adobe account, then start a new one. Though... Adobe doesn't allow a person to cancel their adobe account. It all must be done via Adobe customer service, which has proved non existent. There is no email address to email a request, there is a chat option which claims 24/7 chat however this functionality doesn't seem to work on my new Lenovo computer, current IE explorer running Windows 8.
Adobe - you really need to sort this out. I have left the work place where I was the Team Administrator some months ago now and now I need to be removed from that workplace account completely. Currently, I still have full access to it, which is not good from a security point of view because if I were a disgruntled ex-employee I could play havoc with my workplaces subscription and access their confidential files stored in the cloud.
Looking through the Forum, there is a great deal of conversation on this exact point. I'd suggest you answer this one, then create a sticky so people don't keep creating new threads and then see about resolving the issue so that Primary Admins can change in future, and be removed when they leave the workplace.
