Mac Network does not work properly, can't safe, access only in safemode

Hi guys
I just got a nice IMac 27" and really like it.
Now I set up a network to move files back and forth with my Macbook Pro.
Now I encounter the following problems:
- I can not safe files on the IMac from my Macbook
- Access to files on IMac are only in "safe mode", meaning I have to safe first with another name on my Macbook and can not modify them straight up.
I have set the access rights to read and write with a special setup username and password. So that can not be the issue.
Have tried to google this problem but no luck unfortunately.
Hope you guys can help asap.

Very often a small mistake in configuration can be responsible for WLAN functionality.
For me your posting is not so clear and because of that I will ask you some questions:
1. Is your notebook preinstalled with delivered recovery image or you have installed your own OS and which one?
2. Is WLAN card listed and properly recognized in device manager?
3. Is the WLAN enabled with WLAN switch placed at the right side of the notebook?
4. Can you use FN+F8 key combination to enable/disable WLAN card?
5. Are you sure the WLAN card is enabled properly?
6. Do you use Windows WLAN settings for WLAN configuration?
7. Have you tried to scan the surrounding area using Windows or ConfigFree utility?

I have just upgraded to Lion and now my VPN connection does not work properly. It was working fine when I was using Leopard. The VPN is My Private Network and we use it to link to BBC iPlayer when abroad. It will actually connect to the VPN site and shows a UK IP address, but then when we try to load an iPlayer programme we get the message from the BBC that we are not in the country and, therefore, cannot access the site. Cancel button does not work properly in ProgressMonitor

The cancel button does not work properly in my ProgressMonitor.
Only the keyboard Enter key is accepted but no mouse click.
Everything else works fine.
What could be wrong????

Yes, there is a monitor.isCanceled() and it works if the enter key is pressed. However, a mouse click on the cancel button does not work!!!

My Mac App Store on my MacBook Pro 15 inch does not work properly. When i go on to the app store, my wi-fi resets and then my app store quits. Why is this? How can i fix this problem? Please Help

Back up all your files, on boot up when you first press the power button, press CMd and r and keep pressing until you get something apart from a apple logo. Then click reinstall Mac OS X or something like that. You may be prompted to insert your disk.

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.

I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

Are you using any MS Office third party Add-ins? Test: Remove third party Add-ins other than PDFMaker. Test to see if the MS Office apps run afterward.
Did you attempt to repair MS Office? Test: Go to Add/Remove Control Panel run Repair.
Finally, have you tried testing to see if it's PDFMaker? Test: Use the Add/Remove Control Panel to modify the Acrobat installation to remove PDFMaker. See if MS Office applications launch and behave correctly?

Hi, I have problem with my new iPad3. the thing is that 3G service does not work properly, while Edge service is ok. I realize that it is not because of my Sim, but the device itself. What can I do? any idea? thank in advance.

I wish it was that. When I turn on 3G, the signal is full. Then, when I connect internet using 3G, its signal turn to 2G, Searching, No service, searching, and finally go back to 3G agian. This happen every minute although I tried to move to a hight 3G signal.

MAC Authentication does not work

My MAC Authentication does not work.
I have a ACS 3.0 server set. the MAC address is set in the user name field and in the password field.
I can ping the ACS, I can ping my AP, I can ping my client.
I don't want WEP and I don't want LEAP just MAC. So I set my authentication to "Open with MAC" My client has WEP set to NO WEP and authentication to OPEN
I have the latest drivers for both AP and my 350 Client.
I see that the client is associating and disassociating back and forth non stop. My AP log is full with the following message:
