Mac OS Apps doesn`t see iPhone

I use Things, iFinance and try to sync it with my iPhone 4 (and 3GS before). I have MacBook Pro MC374 with Mac OS 10.6.4 and everything ok. All apps see iPhone and sync without problem.
But my iMac with 10.6.4 doesn`t see iPhone at all (by Wi-Fi of course). Things, iFinance, iTunes doesnt see it.
All devices connect to Linksys WRT160NL. iMac by cable, iPhone and MacBook by wi-fi.
I try to use Bonjour Browser and there is no one of this apps ((

I think Bonjour doesnt work properly...
I found two manuals

They told that Bonjour Browser should show apps ready to sync.

I am able to do everything as normal in itunes but cannot import photos using Image Capture(my prefered way to get my images) as it does not see my devise. Same for iphoto it doesn't see my iphone, please help.

The trouble is that there are too many bits of hardware that are recommended not to use a hub with. I have a PhoneValet (which won't work at all with a hub) and a set of first generation Harman-Kardon speakers (ditto). Then I need a USB port to plug the hub itself into, and that's my three USB ports used up.

New laptop doesn't see iPhone after user import from old laptop

Transferred my user account from my MacBook to new MacBook Pro, and now the MBP doesn't see my iPhone. Anyone else have this issue and know the solution? I don't mind wiping and restoring the iPhone. (Though I'd prefer not to.)
BTW - deleted my account and all files from the MacBook prior to verifying my iPhone works on the new MacBook Pro. So I can't "go back" to my old machine.

Once again, I answer my own question... Leaving the iPhone plugged in during a restart worked.

Itunes doesn't see iphone

I've had to reinstall everything on my Macbook and now I try to plug in my iphone4 and itunes doesn't see it. The phone "knows" it's plugged in because it makes the noise when I plug it in.
Any tips on how I can fix this?

Running 7.0.4 on iPhone 4S, Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit version of 11.1.3.
iPhone was previously detected by iTunes prior to update.
A second iPhone 4S running iOS 6 is consistently detected without any problems.
I have already tried all solutions given on this support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538) to no avail.
In device manager, no x or ! shows up.
iTunes already on latest version.
Tried multiple USB cables, all genuine. Tried multiple USB ports, all working but iPhone still doesn't show up.
Apple Mobile Device Support is definitely installed. Tried reinstalling AMDS and iTunes. Tried restarting AMDS. No good.
Tried installing driver from Common Files directory.
No software changes between iOS 6 and iOS 7 update. No possibility of third party software conflict.
Note: was able to restore the iPhone to 7.0.4 from 7.0.2 on my MacBook Pro so there's nothing wrong with the phone or cable. This is not a viable long term option for me, since the MBP is a work computer.
Please help if you know

Did a diagnostics test on iTunes. This first screenshot is BEFORE I plug in the iPhone.
After plugging in the iPhone and trusting the computer (this trust popup, by the way, continuously comes up EVERY TIME I plug the iPhone into the computer. Stopped popping up after the first time I plugged into Mac but it comes up EVERYTIME on Windows), I get the User Account Control popup asking for permission. I click Yes. See the difference in following screenshot:

Apple TV doesn't see iphone add remote greyed out

Wife just got a new iphone, I have it synced/paired to her PC's itunes and also paired to my imac itunes which has our music collection (not syncing just have music set to manage manually). Have downloaded the remote app and it connects wonderfully to my itunes and hers but I cannot add remote on our apple tv the option is greyed out on apple tv.......I have checked the wifi network is the same on all, checked the fire wall settings are correct and pretty much everything else. On the apple tv screen it says to start by downloading the remote app which just in case I have done to my imac as well.....I am wondering if my issue is because the itunes library that is streamed to the apple tv is different to the one that the iphone is synced to (ie her PC)........one thing I have noticed is that apple tv doesn't appear on the devices list on her PC.......not sure why this isn't working but its driving me nuts have looked all through the discussions and can't find a solution

I'm not really sure what criteria is necessary for the remote option to show up on the tv, I'm surmising it's simply a fault (which I was hoping could be addressed by a restart). Another option would be a need for the tv to actually detect a wifi network before it enables this option, although mine works on an tv which is connected by ethernet and although that ethernet network is connected to a wifi network, I'm not sure the tv could know that.
The problems you now seem to be experiencing seem to be network related, and I wonder if you are now experiencing interference. You could try changing your wifi broadcast channel to see if that helps.

Aperture doesn't see iPhone 4; sees Canon camera but not photos

From the App Store, I recently downloaded and installed Aperture 3 on my 2008 MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.6. In the preferences for Aperture, Image Capture, and iPhoto, I set Aperture to open automatically when I connect a camera. When I connect my iPhone 4, Aperture doesn't open, nor does the iPhone appear in Aperture when I open Aperture manually. When I connect my Canon Powershot A710IS, Aperture does open, and the camera does appear, but the photos that are on the camera don't appear in the pane (they're JPEG images). I haven't excluded any file types in the Import Settings, and I've tried both JPEG Only and Both (JPEG as Master) under RAW + JPEG. All of this worked fine with iPhoto '09, which is what I was using before I switched to Aperture. If I change the preferences back to what they were, with iPhoto set to open automatically when a camera is connected, it works like it used to. Any ideas? It would be a pain to have to import everything into iPhoto and then transfer it to Aperture.

I don't have an iPhone to help with personal experience. However, I seem to remember other users have reported that they can use their iPhone with Aperture only when iTunes is also active. However I cannot find any of those threads at the moment to help direct you to better details.
Yes, I do have new images on my camera. When they didn't appear in Aperture, I opened iPhoto, and they showed up there.
This is indeed curious. Without any really good ideas at the moment, I would suggest [Troubleshooting Basics|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805], as there may be something wrong with your library.

Mac Pro 2,1 not seeing iPhone 4 or iPad on USB

I have upgraded to Lion. iTunes is at 10.4 (80). Software update is not finding anything new.
iTunes is up. My iPod classic and iPod Nano (generateration before the camera version) are recognized by iTunes. The devices charge just fine. The devices sync to iTunes.
Same conditions, neither my iPhone 4, my first generation
When I plug my iPad (first gen, with cellular and wifi), or my iPhone 4, the behavior is not what it used to be. USB Prober recognizes both devices, no problem. However, the iphone 4 will not charge when it is hooked up. Itunes does not recognize either the iphone 4 or ipad devices being connected to the system.
What else shoudl I be checking?

In the console, I was alos seeing a com.apple.launchd exited with code 1 error on usbmuxd
Looking at the directory for this file: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework/Versions/A/Resources/u sbmuxd I noticed that one of my macs had a lot more in that structure than the problem mac did.
I went back up to the Versions directory, and copied all the stuff from there on down to the "problem mac".
Issue resolved. I hope the helps someone else out!

Macbook Air doesn't see iPhone 5s when connected by USB

After installing iTunes 11.1.4 on my Macbook Air, iOS no longer sees my iPhone 5s when I connect it via USB.
Prior to the iTunes updated I had successfully synced and charged my iPhone.
The Macbook sees my iPad and an android phone i plugged in via USB.
Any help would be appreciated.

Interestingly enough, my wife's iPhone 5 is recognized and will charge from my Mac, and my iPhone won't charge or be recognize by her Macbook.

Xbox360 doesn't see iPhone as an mp3 player

My iPod nano used to work fine with the xbox360, with my iPhone, the xbox360 sees it as a camera and I can browse the pictures inside but it is not recognized as a "portable device".
Does anyone else have this problem? I just upgraded the iPhone firmware and I have the latest iTunes version. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem lies with the xbox 360 not the iphone. The 360 at this time probably doesn't have any drivers to know what the iphone is when you connect it, I am surprised that it even comes up as a camera and lets you browse the photos.
You can go to the xbox website and request that microsoft add iphone mp3 player support drivers to the fall update of the xbox 360. I don't think there is anything apple can do about it.

TS1591 iTunes doesn't see iPhone or iPad (all updates performed)

I just installed OS 10.8.2 and have the most recent version of iTunes on a two year old iMac. I'm running iOS 6 on my 4s. I'm running 5.1.1 on my third gen iPad. I've restarted everything a couple times, but iTunes won't recognize the iPhone or iPad. iPhoto does see and will transfer photos off the iPhone. The phone charges and no further software updates are available. I've gone through Apples Troubleshooting Assistant. Any ideas?

My Computer doesn't see iPhone camera roll.

This is my first time posting here and I'm in a bit of a pickle so I hope someone can help me!!
My problem: I have an iPhone 3G and I noticed that after upgrading to 3.0 and then 3.0.1 that My Computer (I run Vista) can't see my iPhone camera roll thus preventing me from copying any pictures to my hardrive. iTunes works fine - but I have to manually sync when the program is loaded. I've tried reloading everything, going back to older versions of both iTunes and the iPhone OS but with the same result - no iPhone icon in My Computer.
Any suggestions???

Might be driver problem. Try "update" the driver for Apple Iphone in Device Manager. Choose update then choose driver file from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers"
If that's not working. Unplug your iPhone. Then try uninstall Apple Iphone driver from Device Manager. After that, reboot, and plug in your iPhone. Vista now should start install 'new hardware' driver. Voila.

CC Desktop app. doesn´t see that a new PS CC version is available

I am on Photoshop CC Ver. 14.2. and my CC Desktop app. is not showing that any 14.2.1 update is available. Plus, Photoshop/Help/Update tells me that there are no updates available.   Any ideas of what may be going on?

The list of installed apps. on CC Desktop was different depending on whether the Language was set to "English-North America" or "English-International". Here is what I did:
     - Since Photoshop CC was listed only when "English-International" was selected, and that is the primary app. that I rather leave alone, I uninstalled the two apps. that we showing when "English-North America" was selected: Bridge CC and Lightroom 5. I logged off and back on to my CC account.
     - Then, on the CC Desktop app., I set Language to "English-Intenational", and re-installed Bridge CC and Lightroom 5. Now, no apps. are listed when "English-North America" is selected. Theyare all listed when "English-International" is selected.
Unfortunately, my Photoshop CC version continues to be Ver. 4.2, and neither CC Desktop nor Photoshop CC/Help/Updates detect that there is a Ver. 4.2.1 pending.
I am stuck, because I hesitate to install the update from the ProdesignTools site, in case I mess up CC Destop even more than it is now. And I also hesitate to contact Adobe tech. support, because of the mess they created a couple of months ago on my computer when I again had problems with CC Desktop. It took one month to clear up the problems, which I won´t go into here.

PC won't update itunes11, and doesn't see Iphone-5 w/new ios software

I have viewed many of the discussions relating to this common problem of itunes not seeing the iphone5 with the updated ios7 software. None of the fixes listed in the discussions have worked so far. Here is what has occured: 1) Reloaded apple drivers (as directed), but shows error message that need to update itunes software to 11.1 (have 10.5 software now);
2) Went to "Check for updates" in itunes "help" tab, it keeps coming up with error message "the itunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection, or try again later". I have high-speed broadband that works fine and have been trying this update procedure for over a week with same error.
3) Went to apple website and downloaded 11.1 software but it will not install.
