Mac OS: sapgui java 7.10 rev6 copy from ALV works but paste.... doesn't!

Dear all,
some times ago I had problems in copying cell contents from ALV reports. java gui 7.10 rev 6 solved the issue but....
... I still cannot paste it in SAPGUI.
I mean:
- I can paste it in other OSX application (like textedit)
- I cannot paste it in an input field of sapgui
to copy/paste from sapgui to sapgui I have to copy from sapgui, paste it to textedit, copy from textedit and paste it into sapgui.
No problem if I copy the value from a "normal" field. The only issue is if I copy from ALV reports.
Any hint?

this sounds like a bug we have fixed recently (assuming that I get your description correctly).
The forthcoming SAP GUI for Java 7.10 rev 7 should solve the issue.

Mac + PC sharing one library on NAS...everything, works, but...

I've been running for quite a while with one shared itunes library on my NAS (.itl file and all) so everything is seamlessly shared by my PC laptops: playlists, cover art, music, etc. The one drawback is I can only run one instance of iTunes at a time, but that's never been an issue.
So, I added a Macbook to the mix (finally)! That too works fine with this scheme (command-click when starting iTunes and point to NAS library). The only drawback is that whenever I open the other platform from the one where I last made a change or added a song (PC to Mac or vice versa), it takes a good 5-10 minutes of processing, where iTunes show a progress bar saying "updating library". Not sure what it's doing...? Arent they reading from the same file? Are there settings I should be tweaking? Like, I never quite fully understood what it means that iTunes will keep your folders organized for you, though I keep it checked. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Again, it works, but it seems faster on startup when staying on the same platform!

One thing to remeber is that iTunes does not store the ratings with the songs. Ratings are stored on the individual machines accessing iTunes. Two machine, two different sets of ratings.
There is supposed to be a way to keep the library file on remote drive, even then only one iTunes will be able to use the library file at the same time. iTunes is not designed for multiple users at once except for using sharing.

CS5 - Help copy from another application and paste into CS5

I am not able to copy an image from another application and paste into my CS5 image.
I can paste the image into any other program except for CS5.
Does anyone know how this issue can be fixed? Very frustrating, since it is such a simple process.

You probably have at least one plug-in made by Nik Software. They're known to interfere with Photoshop's ability to access the clipboard.
I believe there's a Nik configuration file change needed, or possibly a removal of all or part of the plug-in to restore Photoshop's access to the clipboard. Copy To - Copy from not working

i am trying to create an invoice drawing from a sale order. but when clicking for 'Copy from' from Invoice its showing the Document wizard and on clicking 'Finish' it is not taking any items to the invoice row. similarly i tried to do it from Sale order to Invoice using 'Copy to' but it is not at all opening any invoice document.
confused with the SBO actions. wat may be the reason?

Hi
Just check the following.
You need select the customer code, name
Press the copy from button and choose "sales order"
select the row(yellow color will appear) you want to copy the document.
Draw document wizard will appear.
Press finish
System message will appear for taxcode
Press Yes or No
Then the data will be copied in your target document.
I think you would have done everything and am wondering why the data are not copying.
Just explain your steps please.

Copying from one photo to paste into another

I need to copy two people from one photo and paste them into a group picture in another photo. I understand this is not something Aperture can do. I need something like Photoshop. However, since I seldom do this type of copying and pasting, is there a less expensive photo editor that will let me do this? Will Photoshop Elements suffice? Or is there a free application like Picasa that will do the job?

If i create in the SAP Java GUI a new Connection i choose my G95 System and Group/Server is automatically SPACE !!! That works... The Description is G95 [SPACE], that works ...
if i now choose the router, i get an error:

Batch file from java class fails to copy from mapped drive

I've some problem for a bacth file which XCOPY several files from folder to folder. If the source folder is a mapped network drive and I run the batch it works.
But it fails with this error "Invalid drive specification" if I run it from within the java class. Everything is correct from the BATCH point of view as it works when I run it directly.
I use Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command);where command is: "cmd /c C:\\just_for_test.bat".
The batch file is:
XCOPY /E G:\tmp\CD0005_Multi\*.* C:\Temp
RD /S /Q G:\tmp\CD0005_Multi
EXIT
where G: is the mapped drive.
Any ideas?

I used a batch-file to copy the specified files that looked like this in the end:
net use s: \\192.168.200.7\e$ <passw> /USER:administrator

net use s: /deleteWhat happens is that i make a new mapped-connection to the harddrive
and ending it after the copying-process is finished... Simple thingie.
But, if you still want to copy the files through your program, do this:
net use s: \\192.168.200.7\e$ <passw> /USER:administrator

Safari for Mac, webpage with Java applet, drag and drop area not working.

At my company, we have a web page that our users access to submit media files, (QuickTime, Audio, images...), for transcoding for delivery. The web page consists of a java applet, with an area that our users drag and drop media file into.
After updating to Safari 5.1.2, the applet will not work anymore. Instead, the browser will "open" the quicktime and play it, instead of allowing the Java Applet to do it's job.
CAN I TURN THIS FUNCTIONALITY OFF??
I read that Safari 5.1.2, (when it was initially released), broke something with the THEN current version of Java, and everyone was awaiting the latest update (build 1.6.0_29) to fix it. Unfortunately, this update did not fix my issue with the functionality of dragging and dropping media files into the web page.
It seems to me, as if, there is an over-arching functionality setting (or something) that needs to be either turned off, or in some other way DE-prioritized.
Anyone have any ideas?

Have lightroom 5 hard copy and just got a mac. downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the web, but it will not take my serial number. gives me an invalid serial number error

i have had lightroom 5 for some time now, and have used on my pc. I just got a mac (no disc drive) so I downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the adobe site. Once installed, i tried to key in my serial number.
I get an invalid serial number error.
has anyone ran into this before?

Copy from Illustrator CC and Paste to Powerpoint issues

Hello,
How do you copy and paste a graphic from Illustrator CC to Powerpoint?
I know that sounds easy, and it should be...I used to be able to do this the standard way (ctrl+c in Illustrator, ctrl+v in Powerpoint), however now the result is just a load of code inside Powerpoint and no image. Any ideas? (other than exporting as pngs etc.)
I'm on the latest version Illustrator CC, Powerpoint 2011 for Mac, Mac OS 10.9.1

I create a lot of icon type drawings in Illustrator CC (paths converted to outlines on transparent background) which I want to use in PowerPoint 2010 and be able to change the fill colour of the icon in ppt. I unchecked the preferences>File handling & clipboard>Include SVG code checkbox in Illustrator but copy / paste special > as EMF did not result in editable graphic in ppt so then I exported to .EMF, Inserted EMF file in PowerPoint, Ungrouped and deleted the background. That worked.

Copying from one arrangement and pasting into another arrangement

Hi, I'm using Logic Express 8.
I'm wondering if there is a way to copy several tracks from one arrangement window into another. I've tried to do this simply by copying and pasting, but when I paste into the new arrangement window I get error messages and the tracks pasted into the new window have a speaker icon with an "X" through it - and obviously no sound.
Am I missing something, or perhaps this is simply a limitation that exists with using express instead of pro?

Text copied from firefox does not paste right, not a problem using IE or Chrome

Using firefox 35.0 on windows 7 64 bit, copying "vtamlst1" (first large gray area) on http://www.kicksfortso.com/User%27s%20Guide%201.5.0/KooKbooK/08/index.htm, then pasting into notepad, spacing all wrong. looks like most spaces dropped.
Same problem observed with fc21, pasting into gedit.
Same procedure works fine on all other browsers I've tried (especially ie and chrome).

I notice that you have cross posted in Answers forum and Oracle forum. Have you tried Mr. Peter's suggestion?
Then, I recommend we check the Word settings:
1. Go to: Options > Advanced > Cut, Copy and Paste
2. Make sure that Use smart cut and paste is ticked.
3. Click the Settings button next to this option
4. Make sure that Smart Style
Behavior is checked.
If the issue still exists, please upload a sample through One Drive, I want to test.
