  • 10.7.5 supplemental update doesn't change build number to 11G63b

    I have a bunch of Macs still with Lion and Apple Remote Desktop reports that one of them has Mac OS X 10.7.5 build number 11G63 while all the others have build number 11G63b. I'd like to align them so I installed the OS X Lion 10.7.5 Supplemental Update on the Mac with build 11G63 to update it to 11G63b. The update installed correctly but after restarting the Mac it still reports 10.7.5 build 11G63.
    Am I missing something?
    I read that the supplemental update "is not needed if you install the Mac OS X Lion v10.7.5 Update (build 11G63)" but AFAIK it should nevertheless update the build number, shouldn't it?

    Where are you clicking on it? In your Purchases list or are you clicking on the button below the application:
    The text in the button will differ depending on whether you've already purchase it or not.

  • New Macbook Build Number

    Hi,
    Well I received the new updated macbook, and noticed that the build numer is 9A3111 and is Leopard, but isn't the build number for the Leopard DVD 9A581??
    Is this a mistake or something? Sorry but, can anyone confirm if its one or the other, or are they both the same?
    Thank you

    I guess apple make specific installer disk for each model, so user cannot buy a single intel mac, and swap and install the Leopard for other intel mac they have.
    For that, if user want to install Leopard, they have to buy the market "generic" version of Leopard.
    Here is link for new macbook (late 2007) installer disk:

    Good Luck.

  • Build number of current MBP Reinstall discs

    I have a Santa Rosa 2.2 ghz macbookpro. I was wondering if anyone could check the build number of their CD. This is a replacement and apple has sent me discs in this past but i don't think they are the ones that will work on the Santa Rosa. Can anyone give me the build number for Discs 1 and 2?

    also my friend,
    i have found a replacement dvd aple gavee me that works (i assume its right if it boots form it and stuff)
    but....can i use a different 2 disc? i have one from a macbookpro ...just not that exact build number. Will it work?
    If this is because you need some newer disks or have lost yours, for a nominal fee you can get replacements. 1-800-MY-APPLE.
    It may boot ok but you may not have the correct system files for that build of a MBP.
    Install disks are for a particular model Mac...

  • Latest Build Number for Z3

    My Build Number is 23.0.A.2.105. The Sony site says the latest available software is 23.0.A.2.93.
    I assume Sony hasn't updated its own information and that I have the latest update.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Sometimes we release updates that are specific for a certain country, operator or region and in these cases you may have a later software version than what's stated on www.sonymobile.com. The version you have is a later version than the one on our webpage as it's not a version released for all countries and regions. I believe the version you have is an update for some operators in the UK but it may also be released in some other countries.
    As uliwooly says, updates are also not released for all units at the same time as we may need local and operator approvals. To see if your phone has the latest available firmware it's best to check Update Center in the phone or connect it to PC Companion/Bridge for Mac.

  • What's the correct build number?

    MBP here. I installed 10.4.7 when it became available via Software Update. Then I heard about the revised updater. No knowing whether to reapply the delta updater or the combo updater, I did the latter. About This Mac still reports Build 8J2135. Another site is saying the correct build should be 8J2135a. I've repaired permissions multiple times. What's the correct build number?
    Joe

    Because Apple didn't include some files with the original Delta update (the one that comes via SU and available as a manual download). To ensure those who installed the first one have the correct one after reinstalling, they added a to the number.

  • What us the build number of the App Store Lion ?

    What is the build number of the App Store Lion download ?

    11A511, yes

  • What's the Lion's build number?

    Can somebody who have installed the final release of Lion from App Store check its build number? (Apple => About This Mac => click on "Verzion 10.7" right below the Mac OS X words).
    I'm wondering if it's the same as the latest preview made available to developers (11A511).
    Thanks!

    Infoset will make a join based on (inner join or outer left join), and that would present the report in one line if you are accessing it from different ods.
    Multiprovider will do a union, what it will do is if you are getting the key figures and char from two different ods, one record will appear in your report in two lines.
    Example:
    ODS1
    Char1 = south
    Char2 = smith
    KF1 = 10
    ODS2
    Char1 = south
    Char3 = James
    KF2 = 15
    Multiprovider will do:
    Char1|Char2|Char3|KF1|KF2
    south|#|James|Blank|15
    south|smith|#|10|Blank
    your infoset will present:
    Char1|Char2|Char3|KF1|KF2
    south|smith|James|10   |30
    that is the big difference performance wise MP is much better because it will span different process for each underlying cube or ods.
    thanks.

  • Hi Guys I have asked to transfere my creative suite from windows to mac, no problem, I got the serial number, but I have a windows installation disc how to I get the mac version on my mac computer?

    HI Guys I have recently asked to transfer my Windows creative suite to a Mac computer. I received the serial number but unlike my lightroom install disc, which is win and mac, my Creative Suite disc is windows only, how do I go about installing a Mac version of my creative suite onto the Mac computer?

    I am talking about the Ver 3 download link that came with the purchase email.
    That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
    Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
    If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
    /Applications/Aperture.app
    /Library/Application Support/Aperture/
    ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

    Hi All - quick question.
    I have applied all SP/HF's in order and my build number is still reading as this in the help section:
    Xcelsius Version 5.1.1.0
    Build Number 12,1,1,344
    I did not encounter any erorrs when installing the SP/HF's.  Has anyone else encoutnered this problem?

    Hi Micheal,
        Goto > Control Panels > Add / Remove programs. and check whether all the service packs and hot fixes are listing there?
    Also goto the installation path and right click on Xcelsius.exe and see what is the version number and build number for your xcelsius.

  • Anyone - that "About this MAC" only gives the OS X Version Number and not the Name?

    Is anyone else - that "About this MAC" only gives the OS X Version Number and doesn't also give out the Name?
    *** version is Mountain Lion? Snow Leopard? Yosemite?? And how hard would it be to use the name AND version number when they refer to a product?
    So What Do I have with 10.8.5 ?
    PS [as I use this site for the first, I am glad to see for the first time ANYWHERE that the drop down box lists the OS X by name and number. APPLE, PLEASE DO THAT EVERYWHERE!

    A google search would have yielded the answer
    10.8 is Mountain Lion.

  • Can the MTM Test Run 'build number' field be unhooked from a real build without using a fake or empty string.

    I'm working on integrating MTM Test Runs (Via TFS/MTM API) with our automated build & test system, and I've noticed that if I supply a valid build number when creating a test run, and I later delete the build, the test run data disappears with it.
    I know that I can deselect 'Test Results' in the Delete Build dialog, and in the Retention Policy for the Build Definition, but in the interest of avoiding any confusion or mistakes (we have a lot of build definitions to maintain), I wonder if it would be
    possible to instruct the test run to prevent a deliberate link.
    While we're on the subject, if anyone could explain the benefits or potential uses this link might provide (even under conditions that may not meet our usage) I would be very grateful.

    We don't use MTM to run tests, we have another system that works better with our test environments. We will be using MTM to track pass/fail data for the tests that have run, by creating test case workitems for them and using test run and test result objects
    to store the data.
    Going back to my question, I'm looking for a way to prevent a test run object from linking to a TFS Build so I can prevent TFS from removing the test run when I delete it. We have a lot of builds and we frequently remove old ones, I need a way to retain
    historical data for test runs.
    I understand that under normal circumstances, the build number would first be used to retrieve the bits from the build to test with, but since we're not using that system, I'd like to know more about how it might be used in other ways - for example, for
    querying or associating work items. We're considering not using this field, or modifying it in such a way that it doesn't create the relationship with a build that I mentioned, and I would like to know what functionality we would lose by doing this.
