Are you really still running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) as shown in your profile? If so, that's why. Full use of iCloud needs at least Lion 10.7.2 or Mountain Lion.
If you have upgraded to Mountain Lion and forgot to update your profile, here are some things to check:
Is it on a network?
Is it signed into iCloud? The same iCloud Account?
Are Contacts and "Calendars & Reminders" checked in the iCloud and same account's "Mail, Contacts & Calendars" panels of System Preferences?
Are you looking at the correct accounts in Calendar and Contacts? -

If you purchased the apps from the Mac App Store, log into the Mac App Store, go to Purchases and redownload them. If you didn't and you have the CD/DVD of iLife you can reinstall the apps from there.
If you have a Time Machine backup or clone of your previous OS X install, you can use the Migration Assistant to copy over your apps. -

updated my mac to mountain lion 10.7.8.3 and now my app store, mail or facetime won't open. Also, I am not longer able to play videos through firefox. I tried downloading the combo for mountain lion and it refuses to install saying that I need to see developer. Whenever I try to open my appstore, mail or facetime it says that the programmes need to be installed and might not be compatible with this version of mac operating system. Can anyone help me?
It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.

i do have a copy of life 11- if i install it on my mac pro that is mac os x lion 10.7.2....will idvd download and no harm done to other applications?
Yes. Perform a custom install; the preinstalled applications may already be grayed out.

I have a mac pro with lion os 10.7.4 and itunes 10.6.1, there is update for itunes and when i want to install it as upgrdae im getting an error and it is not installing and that cuases some problems in syncronizing with othe equipments.

I keep trying to re-download Mac OS X Lion to my Macbook, and repeatedly get this same error message

When I power on my Macbook it automatically takes me to the recovery screen where I am faced with four options. I click on the option to reinstall Mac OS X Lion. It prompts me to enter my Wifi information. I do so then it prompts me for my Apple e-mail and password. I enter this then it tries to connect to the server and I keep getting told “This item is temporarily unavailable, please try again later” message. I have been doing this for days, when exactly will later be? I regret ever buying anything Apple with all of the hoops they make you jump through to do the simplest of things. I just want to fix this I can rid myself of this machine. Thank you in advance.

Mac Book Pro OS X 10.9.1 - Master Suite CS6 Photoshop won't open
I installed Master Suite on new Mac Book Pro OSX 10.9.1. All programs will open fine except for PS which has an "unexpected and unrecoverable error" and won't open. I can open it when logged in as guest or another user. I have tried trashing preferences (Hard drive/Library/Preferences/com.adobe....plist) but to no avail. There is no User specific preferences file I can find. Help! Crash report posted below:

Dreamweaver and Master suite on macbook pro
Hi guys
I currently use Dreamweaver and Fireworks on my p.c laptop. Im quite close to making the transition to putting Adobe Master Suite onto my macbook pro.
Can anyone tell me what Dreamweaver etc are like on the mac. Is it pretty much the same, are the features as readily available, does it run as well (cpu etc)
My macbook pro only has 2gb memory and the processor is intel core duo 2.16ghz
Before I do it just wanted some views from people whether I should or notYeh Ive heard alot about the cpu usage today, sometimes as much as 80%.
I'm gonna try out on a friends macbook pro first who has the creative suite then make my decision.
To be honest though I think Ill probably go for the windows version as it seems alot more flexible, as Ive today learned how unflexible macbook pro's are when wanting to upgrade the hardware in any way.

Just noticed that the system requirements for cs5 is OSX 10.5 or higher. My macbook pro is an old and is only running on 10.4.11.
Looks like Ill have to upgrade the mac software first anyway. Why I ever bought this mac Ill never know by the looks of things -
On Mac OS X Lion rebooted Cisco router and my network has disappeared
I have no internet connection now. My netwrok disappeared from the list. I did the on and off , reboot modem etc. I tried to reinstall the Cisco software and a message popped up saying Cisco doesn't support my version of OS X. The wifi was working fine on Lion for at least a week, then wifi started dropping off on my iPad so that is why I rebooted the router and now it doesn't work at all.
What Cisco software are you running on your Mac? You should be able to connect to the router's control panel by going to its network address with a browser, although be aware that Safari douesn't handle some of the control panel javascript correctly, so you might want to use Firefox.

I am new to Mac and my sysem acting werid and slowed down in couple of months..I want to delte all the date and upload a fresh copy and hope it speeds up my system...Please Advice!!

No. You can install Lion on all systems you own from a single purchase. Either copy the installer before you run it on the first system and transfer it to the other system, or purchase and download it on one system, then log into the App Store on the second system go to the Purchased tab and you'll be able to download the installer again without charge.
