Mac OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date Program

Hi all,
I just wanna know who or where to contact apple for quires regarding the up-to-date program. My case is not about voucher code not working but i've entered my personal e-mail address instead of the e-mail/account used to purchase my Macbook Pro Retina during the registration and when i tried to change the email address it says my Macbook Pro serial number has already been used.
So i would like to contact with Apple to clarify and correct my mistake. Any ideas guys? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you
Joel

Hi Joel, I think you should call the costumer support of you're country.

  • How do I register for the Mac OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date Program?

I purchased my Mac on Friday and saw on the Apple website I can register for a free upgrade to Mountain Lion when it comes out.
Sadly I cannot work out how to do this, can someone please help.

That web site won't be available until Mountain Lion ships. You have 30 days from the ship date of Mountain Lion to claim the download code.
The offer will likely be available here: http://www.apple.com/osx/uptodate/

what number should I put in "Number of Qualifying system for right to copy" in OS mountain lion up-to-date program form? I'm a newbie on mac, just bought MBA two weeks ago. I've tried software update but it is not upgraded to mountain lion. what should I do to upgrade for free?

    I'm on the page "https://uptodate.apple.com/UtdPrepareAction?program=Mountain%20Lion&locale=en_au"
and I still have the same question as the original poster, what number should I enter into the field:
"Number of qualifying systems".. cause "1" doesn't do it.. and the other numbers don't work... >:___:<

  • Problem with OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date program

I have redeemed the OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date program via Apple App Store. However, I am unable to download the program and my Mac still running on the previous version. Please advise.

No idea why it's so slow, that link works here & clicking on the Mountain Lion link takes me to the "Upload a proof of purchase" page.
Did you enter the data there?

Here are some suggestions for getting the best results from this site.
If you're not comfortable with English, it may be best to post in your native language. Others can use automatic translation, if necessary, to help them understand you. They may reply in their native language, and then you can do the same to understand them.
    Google Translate
Screenshots can help overcome a language barrier. To upload an image, click the camera icon in the message editor on this page.
Give details of the problem. A statement such as "it doesn't work" conveys no information. If it did work, you wouldn't be here. Instead, you should post something like this: "I did A; I was expecting B; but I got C instead." Include the complete text of any error messages you saw and where you saw them: in an application window, a CrashReporter window, a log, or whatever. Also include the steps you’ve taken yourself, if any, to try to resolve the issue. If the problem is of recent origin, did you make any changes to your setup just before you first noticed it? Is the problem reproducible or intermittent? That is, does it always manifest itself when you take a certain action, or only at unpredictable times?
Before posting, ask yourself whether it’s likely that you are the the only person ever to have had this problem. If not, search the discussions for answered questions similar to yours. If you found any pertinent information, but it didn't help, include details.

  • How long is the "OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date Program" response time?

I submitted the information about my recently purchased laptop to the uptodate page http://www.apple.com/ca/osx/uptodate/ earlier in the day but haven't recieved any notifications (not even an email saying that the information has been recieved). I've heard that other people have gotten codes so I assume it shouldn't take this long. Should I just resubmit again?

Thanks. Is it odd that I haven't recieved any sort of confirmation email to indicate that the request is pending, or is one not sent out?
Servers are slammed.  Your email is the least of the problems.

  • OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date-program Delay?

So I went to the "OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date-program" page and entered my serial number and got the message that I would receive an e-mail when it had been verified.
It has now been more than 30 minutes, which makes me fear that the verification process is manual and I might have to wait long before getting my code.
Does anybody have any insights into this?

A lot of pepople get their codes allmost instantly, in a few mins, but after they got a this code has benne already claimed error message in the store. You can find more info here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4134733?tstart=0

I used th Mountain Lion up to date program to redeem my code yesterday (25th July) but I still haven't got any email or anything. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Same here...plopped down >$2700 USD on a new Retina MBP a few weeks ago with the promise of a free upgrade to ML when it was released.  Now, I have no doubts that I'll get the upgrade but I'm not crazy about having to wait behind scads of others who are shelling out a mere $20 bucks.
I was given the same 72 hour speech by Apple Customer Support.  With my Up-To-Date claim reference number in hand, it seems like they would/could provide an instant turn-around to those of us who are excited/eager enough to call in.
Apple does a lot of things right but people...especially the clientele that gravitate toward Apple products...expect excellence across the board.  It's like a "nearly" perfect date....beautiful night...best table in the restaurant...delicious dinner with a fabulous bottle of wine...your date is smokin' hot in a little black dress.  On the way back to her place, she unbuckles her seatbelt and leans across with a hand towards your leg and then lets a gigantic, tear-demanding **** that makes you want to gag.  The next day somebody asks, "How was your date?"

  • Password to redeem, OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date program

how to redeem, password to open unlock file, OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date program

    While not very clear...
You will have received two emails.  One email contains a code to unlock the PDF file in the other email.  The PDF contains the redeem code.  Open the app store, click redeem under quick links on the right.
If this doesn't help, be more clear.

  • What do you do about a denial in the Mountain Lion Up-To-Date program?

I ordered my new Mac Mini from Amazon.com on Friday, July 27th and received it on July 28th.  Later that day I filled out my Up-To-Date application form and uploaded a copy of my Amazon invoice.  That evening I received a denial email saying:
Receipt does not indicate product was paid for and received
Receipt does not show purchase of a qualifying product
The next day, I sent off an email to [email protected] questioning my denial and included a scan of my actual Mac Mini box.
I made a Genius appointment at an Apple Store and took them my information on Monday the 30th.  They looked at my receipt and the internal Apple records and agreed everything was in order, but didn't have the actual power to change anything.  They would have been happy to upgrade me to Mountain Lion on the spot, but I hadn't brought the actual mini in.  All I wanted was my authorization code.  They suggested I contact ExpressLane.
I went home and opened a support ticket with ExpressLane.  They called, agreed everything was legitimate and valid, but also did not have the power to  change anything.  They suggested I email [email protected], which I already had done.
Yesterday, July 31st, I sent another email to [email protected] summarizing the text thus far and asking what I needed to do.
An hour ago, August 1st, I received another identical denial from the UpToDate program stating the exact same reasons.
Do they even read the appeal emails?  I bought a brand-new Mac Mini on Saturday from an Apple Reseller and they tell me I'm not eligible?  I know it's only a $20 purchase, but it's now become the principle of the matter.
Where do I go from here?

I tend to agree but I was told they didn't give out refunds in this case.  It's not that big of a deal yet because this is actually my first Mac and I didn't see anything on the list of features that I had to have.
My biggest concern was that there doesn't even seem to be an appeal process.  The Apple Store and Apple Support people looked at their records and saw that everything was legitimate but couldn't do anything. It's like the UpToDate support people didn't even read my email or bother to even look at my information.  Thats the part that's most annoying about this.  That and the fact that they even denied it at all, considering I sent them the Amazon invoice and Apple records show they sold it to me in the first place.

  • Unable to apply for Mountain Lion up-to-date program from Pakistan

I purchased retina macbook pro from a local authorised apple reseller in Karachi on 12-July-2012.
When I try to apply for up-to-date program in Other Asia section. My country is not listed there.
Then I tried submitting my request in UAE and then India section. My country 'Pakistan' is indeed listed as eligible country in Agreement section below. But at the final step I find my address written as UAE or India without any control to change it before clicking the final submit button.

It means you already have Mountain Lion on the new computer. You can't upgrade it.
