Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 no encuentra la HP utility para 111 roll
Hola,
Mi plotter hp 111 roll ha comenzado a imprimir con poquisima precision, incluso lineas dobles. Por ello queria acceder a la utilidad de HP pero cuando pincho en "Lanzar utilidad" me indica que no se puede encontrar el software y que debo instalarlo de nuevo.
He probado a desinstalar todo lo que habia de HP en mi mac y volver a instalar el plotter con el driver version 30.0 así como descargar el raster driver que he encontrado en la pagina web de HP, pero nada funciona.
No tengo el CD que venia con el plotter.

My Hp 111 Roll Plotter has started to print with very little precision, even double lines. So as to solve it I tried to launch HP utility but it doesn't work. It seems to not be finding the software that is required.
I have already tried to uninstall everything from HP in my mac and install the plotter again with the 30.0 driver version. I have tried with the raster driver that is available on the website aswell but none of this is resulting.
Plus, I don't have the CD installer anymore.

I read about the problems you have been running into when trying to install your Officejet 4630 on Yosemite. I have some steps that should help you.
Please follow these steps in order:
Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system
Repair disk permissions
Restart the Mac
Download and install the full feature driver here: HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers
In addition, download this Apple driver: HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X

So I upgraded my MACBOOK PRO (Retina, Mid 2012) 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7
to MAC OS X YOSEMITE
Adobe Indesign CS5 generally works with some very annoying bugs.
All major keyboard shortcuts that use a single key command have stopped working. and these happen to be the main ones I use all the time for editing...
t for text
z for zoom
v for pointer
It's annoying because now I have to keep going back to the tool bar to change my cursor selection. It's just slowing me down.
Annoying but workable.
Has anyone else go this issue?

I was contacted by apparently a third party supplier called Adobe Systems via this forum
They logged in to my computer via team viewer
installed utorrent
and proceed to download a cracked version of adobe cs6
in the mean time saying on skype that Adobe no longer has Adobe CS6 on their server.
This seemed very OFF to me and I disconnected the skype (and blocked Adobe Systems) and disconnected TeamViewer
If I wanted a cracked version of Adobe CS6 I'm very capable of doing this kind of thing my self
However I run a business I want to have a legitimate licensed copy of the software running for my staff.
They were offering a fully licensed version of a Adobe Master Suite CS6 with my own unique ID for USD$400
Again very OFF considering the upgrade from Adobe from Indesign CS5 to CS6 is almost AUD$1600
I don't know how they got my email address from this forum but it seems that the adobe forum has been hacked!

I have a problem with color prints from photoshop elements 12. The pictures are too light and with strange colors. I have a Canon pixma mg615I0 printer and use mac os X yosemite. The pictures are taken with a coanon eos 550d in the color space sRGB. I have followed adobes recommendations and have tried both letting the printer respektive photoshop manage the colors. But nothing works. I see that there are different opinions about which is best to do so I tried both. I have the latest printer driver installed. Can anyone help me with this?Do the following:
Print a test page from the printer. Perhaps the print head needs cleaning via its maintenance facility.
Let the printer manage colors, not PSE
Calibrate the monitor -
I installed CS3 Design premium upgrade yesterday onto my new mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. You gave me a new serial number. I have been able to open Photoshop, Bridge, Dreamweaver and Flash. The Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat applications are not in my applications folder although there are folders in there with those names containing associated items. How can this have happened and what can I do?

Problems Installing Adobe Illustrator CS4 on Mac OS X Yosemite
Hi all,
When trying to install Illustrator CS4 on Mac OS X Yosemite, I receive an error: "required resources are missing."
Previously, I had problems using Illustrator CS4 when I upgraded to Yosemite, due to an error with the plugin "photoshopimport.aip." I had attempted to uninstall Illustrator, but the uninstall also gave me errors. I ultimately used the CC Cleaner Tool to remove Illustrator.
Now, however, I can't reinstall Illustrator CS4 either! I use the version provided on Adobe's website, so it's not a problem with a physical DVD.
Any ideas for potential solutions? Many thanks!I don't have an Adobe installation log, and it's not hidden either. I tried installing Illustrator CS4 again, and I noticed that the install fails while ~80% through an "initializing" step. So, it fails before it even starts to generate an install log! I re-downloaded it and had the same error.
I did notice that I have some errors in the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool when I was removing Illustrator CS4. If you look at my first post, I couldn't use it, or uninstall it, so I simply used the Cleaner Tool to remove it. There are some errors in the Cleaner Tool log, such as this one:

Could you please attach the crash report so that we can see what is causing PSE11 to crash.
Meanwhile please try resetting preferences by:
Press Cmd + K > It will open preferences dialog > In genearl tab, click on Reset Preferences on Next Launch

Angelika"Photoshop" and "Photoshop Elements" are two different applications
If you want to keep running Photoshop you need to purchase a Photoshop serial number, I don't know if there is an upgrade path from Photoshop Elements.

I need kelp, Illustrator CC2014 crashes at launch on Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), I've updated Java and it still crash.
Then I moved to a different carpet plugin files that look like this and didn't worked.I have no idea about the second part of your question but as for Java you need to install the Apple Java for OSX 2014-001. Look for it on the Apple site.

ps cs6 on mac. since installing yosemite, when working on an image if i want to change tool, via shortcut or wacom pen click, i now have to click on the image title bar, how can i fix this ?
@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

I'm a video editor working primarily in FCP7 and just purchased the latest Mac Pro running Yosemite ? Does anyone know if any options have become available for running FCP7 on this platform ?
It would "run" (more like Sunday stroll or walk) if you installed Snow Leopard in a VM. Especially if you have 6-core (and would help to have 6 or 8 cores anyway if you were able to and intend to make best use of nMP for video editing).
If you "classic" Mac Pro was 2009 or later, adding two AMD graphic cards, upgrading the processor to 8-core 3.xGHz would have gotten you a FCP-X capable machine and still dual boot and use Snow Leopard as needed.
Any Mac Pro can now use 1000MB/sec SSD PCIe blade to boot from and/or for scratch and editing to help improve work flow.

Ps CC 2014 is not working correctly after mac update to Yosemite 10.10.1. Select does not protect unselected areas. Magic eraser erases unselected ares.
Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

There have been varying reports it sounds like on saving the installer package so you can avoid redownloading 5GB installer to use again on same or multiple Macs you have.
From MacIntouch:
The procedure for making multiple installs from one download is the same as earlier download only upgrades.
After the massive 5+ GB download, the first screen is the launch of the installer.
Go to the "file" menu and quit then, before anything else.
Look in the applications folder for "install OSX yosemite" app or such.
Make a copy somewhere else.
The installer deletes this one when done.
You then make copies to other machines for installs there.
Be sure to use copies, as the installer deletes each when done.
