Hi!!?* I have read the terms of use and read all the related Mac posts* I do understand that Mac's are NOT supported.... But just a quick question... I have a Zen Vision M 60G and I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully got it running on a MAC?and if so.. how??I have it running on my boyfriends XP laptop but?want?to have it on my new OSX Macbook. I prefer to use the "iTunes Zen plugin" but I cannot find a working link even on google..Does anyone know a current website where I can dowload it'sI have downloaded XNJB but still trying to get it to work.. Anyone got it to work on their Mac's? got any tips??Arrrggg... Help me??
The Itunes Zen plugin only works with the first generation players like the Nomad and is not compatible with the newer MTP devices. The guys running the XNJB project or a good bunch of folks, if you post a message on their forum I am sure someone there will be able to help you get things working.http://www.wentnet.com/forum/I have tried it on a friends MAC, and it worked, but am fairly ignorant when it comes to Mac's so can't be much help on how to troubleshoot things.

Hi, I am a 16 year old teen that is about to wait for the right moment to have my dream of starting a youtube channel. Ive done a lot of research comparing how any type of laptop will compare when I record and play my games, because i mostly want to get into gaming youtube channel. Although i might want to do just gaming ive also wanted to do videos of unboxing and music covers. My friend that knows a lot about computers told me that i should get a mac if i want to do mainly editing, or if i want to just game and record i should buy a pc laptop. He recommended that i should buy a laptop from IBUYPOWER that has better specs than that of the mac book pro retina 15" and is cheaper. That moves onto my next question asking why are macs so overpriced? I did all my research on that too, and it most likely seems it is almost a brand name expense like louis vuotton. Next question is, how is the cheapest way I can get the 15" retina mac book pro for the cheapest price possible, should i wait until black friday for sales to lower, or should i wait until the next year to get the next 2015 model. There is no such thing as overpriced. Apple is the most profitable company in the world. It sells all of the Macs it makes - every single one. Not everyone can afford a Mac, but such is life.

That is incorrect. According to Forbes, Apple is the #1 most valuable brand, while Louis Vuitton is #10.

Machines may get more powerful every year, but they never get cheaper. You may be able to save more money the longer you wait. If you can't afford a 15" retina, consider a refurbished unit (buy directly from Apple only - see babowa's link), a 13" model, or an Air.

They get better every year. If you wait forever, then the machine you never buy will be infinitely powerful.

There is no such think as a "cracked version that has been reformatted to the Mac". If you want to run Windows software, buy a PC and run Windows. Most people do. You may be able to play that game on a Mac using Bootcamp, but it isn't guaranteed. -

Mac is not overpriced...
You pay for seamless Software/Hardware integration. Superior build and workmanship. And of course the OS X experience.
As far as laptops go I believe apple has the best offerings on the market by a longshot.
I am however not a big fan of buying a Mac and using it with windows... It kind of defeats the point, unless you are a developer, or need it occasionally for certain activities only Windows can perfrom.
You stated you want to however start a youtube gaming channel, I think its better to buy a desktop for this type of activity. Obviously you will game for hours on end if you want to create some sort of feedback/opinion or reviews for different games.
Also you will have to run windows to review the latest and best platforms/games. Many current games are not available on OSX platform. So your review channel would not be very good if you can only review OSX selected games.
That said there could also be a niche on youtube for reviewing exclusively OSX games. I mean you could review different games from the apple app store etc.
It really depends on what you want to do...
There are many good windows based machines too to do this sort of thing... In your case it may be the better option.
There are certainly Windows based laptops that do a much better job in the gaming compartment than a Macbook pro. In fact to play top end games you will need a top of the line 15 inch MBP with Discreet Graphics (Anything else only has Integrated graphics, games still playable, but there are limitations). You can get a much more affordable/powerfull laptop that is Windows based... Or more practically a more affordable and powerful Desktop...
I must however add.
Coming from Windows environment... My first Macbook Pro and OSX experience put all previous windows machines to shame...
I am a very pleased consumer, and personally I am sticking with my macbook pro
Also if a game is not available for MAC. You can't get a "cracked reformated version".... It does not work that way.... It involves serious programming.

You're referring to a 2010 MBP? I don't think it really matters, because I don't believe they have three fans, but I'd have to do some checking to know for sure. EDIT: looks like it doesn't matter which year, it has two fans.

Definitely yes, and even more with an optional SSD, anti-glare hi-res display, and 8GB RAM.

Might he be referring to an iPad? Or do you mean a MBP? No such thing on a MBP.

Handling tickets is called Issue Tracking system. The errors or bugs forwarded by the end user to the support team are prioritized under three seviority High, Medium and Low. Each and every seviority as got its time limits before that we have to fix the error.
The main job of the supporting consultant is to provide assistance on line to the customer or the organisation where SAP is already implemented for which the person should be very strong in the subject and the process which are implemented in SAP at the client side to understand,to analyse,to actuate and to give the right solution in right time.This is the job of the support consultant.
The issues or the tickets(problems) which are arised is taken care of on priority basis by the support team consultants.
The work process in support projects are given below for your reference.
1. The customer or the end user logs a call through any tool or by mail (RADIX).
2. Each one of the support team is a part of support group.
3. Whenever a customer logs a call he /she has to mention to which work group (by name).
4. Once the calls came to the work group the support consultant or the team need to send an IR (Initial Response) to the user depending upon the priority of the calls. (Top,High,Med,Low,None)
5. Then the error is fixed, debugged by the support consultant or the team. Then after testing properly by generating TR(Transport Request through the basis admin)
6. Then it is informed to the end user/customer/super user about the changes which have moved to the production server by CTS process.
These are the process. In summary, what I understand is that if any configuration or customization is required to solve the issue, then the consultant have to work on DEV Client, then the end user will test it in the QA client and after approval the BASIS consultant has to transport it to the PRODUCTION client.
An example:
Tickets in SD can be considered as the problems which the end user or the employee in the company face while working on R/3. Tickets usually occur during the implementation or after theimplementation of the project. There can be numerous problem which can occur in the production support and a person who is working in the support has to resolve those tickets in the limited duration, every ticket has the particular deadline alert so your responsibility is to finish it before that deadline.
To begin with , we should give "TICKET" to you for not knowing it.
Here is an eg of a ticket raise:
End user is not able to
1. Create Sales order for a customer from a New plant , since shipping point determination is not happened . ( Without Shipping point the document becomes INCOMPLETE and he will not be able to proceed further like DELIVERY, BILLING).
He raises a ticket and the priority is set in one of the below:
1. Low 2. Medium 3. High.
Now you need to solve this ticket. You would analyze the problem and identify that the SP configuration has to be done for the new plant.
You would request a transport for DEV CLIENT to BASIS. You do the change and Request one more Transport to BASIS for QA client. The End user will test the same by creating a sales order for the new plant and approve it.
Finally, you request a transport to move the changes to PRODUCTION. Once the change is deployed in production the TICKET is closed. What I have given is a small example. You would get some real issues with severity HIGH in your day-day support.

The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE, DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program is recorded in a log table in the database.
Note: Activating logging slows down accesses that change the table. First of all, a record must be written in the log table for each change. Secondly, many users access this log table in parallel. This could cause lock situations even though the users are working with different application tables.

What haven't you backed them up? You should always have a back up of any important material on your Mac. Make one now:
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate

I can not update several of my apps that i have purchased a while back in my Apps Store on my MacPro. Because it keeps using my old @me account for iTunes and i don't remember the password or security question, Please help?

Your expectations are not based in reality.
Your G4 will not run iCloud. There will be no upgrade from Mobile Me to iCloud for you with that machine unless you do it manually, and only mail will work without further expenditure. -

thanksYou can't use icloud to store photos. There's a service called photo stream which is used to sync photos from one device to another, but this can't be used to store photos permanently.
Always sync photos from a device to your computer, Then you can delete them from the device.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do. -

Problem with macbook pro trackpad
The bottom right part of the trackpad feels really weak, when i push it down it goes really deep i really dont know how this happened. Can you help please.
