Boa tarde Flavia.
No SAP GUI Java (for MAC) você pode criar a STRING de conexão direto. É a maneira mais fácil.
Se o SAP GUI Java já está instalado, siga os passos:
1) Abra o SAP GUI;
2) Clique em NEW e informe a DESCRIPTION;
3) Vá para aba ADVANCED e marque a opção EXPERT MODE;
4) Monte a STRING da seguinte maneira:
4.1) Se o servidor estiver usando Load Balancing a string ficará assim:
conn=/M/(IP_Address_Message_Server)/S/36(system_number)/G/(nama_group)
4.2) Se o servidor NÃO estiver usando Load Balancing a string ficará assim:
conn=/H/(IP_Address_server_SAP)/S/32(system_number)
5) Salve e tente conectar.
Por exemplo, no meu SAP GUI Java (MAC OS) minha string ficou assim:
conn=/H/10.777.10.777/S/3200
Minha release do SAP GUI é SAPGUI7.2rev4.
Espero ter ajudado.

  • In need of help going from Windows SAP GUI to Mac/Java SAP GUI 7.20

    Hi Everyone, first post...I want to thank you in advance for any assistance you are able to provide.
    I got everything working except for 1 out of 6 servers I need to connect to - of course this is the most important one.
    It all comes down to the conversion of saplogon.ini to the new file format, instead of using the GUI to make a list I have created 6 individual .sapc files that I run directly. I found some converters but only had so much success with them, nothing solid and 100% full proof.
    I'm going to post my windows config files and maybe you can tell me why logging into this system GP8 doesn't work from my mac?
    saplogon.ini (I believe it's item 4 that is the full config for the server I'm trying to connect to)

    Hello John,
    please try the "SAP GUI for Java Configuration Generator Scripts" available at http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25456#section9 .
    For using the message server to connect to GP8, the information of the port number of the message server for GP8 is missing. For direct connection to GP8, it might work to use the connection string "conn=/H/gp8001.trans.de/S/3288" .

    Hi
    As you have alreay installed the SAPGui for Java on MAC OS
    Please do this, to do the connection with SAP:
    Click on New System to add. Go to tab "Advanced"
    Enter the following String:
    conn=/H/<<Router String detail>>/H/<<System IP to which to connect>>/S/32<<SYstem Number>>
    Else you can create the file to connect also.

  • Keyboard shortcuts in SAP GUI Java on Mac OS X

    Hi,
    I'm running SAP GUI for Java 7.20 rev 2 on Mac OS X 10.6.3.
    Everything is working fine, except for some keyboard shortcuts.
    I'm used to the Ctrl-F1 and Ctrl-F2 shortcuts when working on ABAP code, but these shortcuts do not work. It seems like OS X is overriding them or something. The Ctrl-F3 or Shift-F1 and others are working fine though.
    I've tried disabling all keyboard shortcuts in the OS X system settings, but that didn't solve the problem.
    Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

    Thanks for your reply mriddoch, please leave another reply if you manage to figure it out
    In the meantime I've switched to working with Parallels running a copy of Windows 7 and the windows SAP GUI.
    Parallels allows me to use Mac keyboard shortcuts (such as cmd-c cmd-v etc.) inside the virtual Windows system (mapped to their corresponding windows keyboard shortcuts).
    You can also map your own shortcuts, so currently I've mapped cmd-f1,-f2 and-f3 to respectively ctrl-f1, -f2 and -f3 (for the ABAP workbench), which makes things feel more natural on my Mac when writing ABAP code.
    Here's a screenshot of the mapping: [http://web.me.com/rvanmil/Screenshots/parallels_keyboard_shortcuts.png]

  • SAP GUI for Mac OS X 10.4

    I want to upgrade my Macs to Apples current operating system Mac OS X 10.4.1 Tiger. I had read few weeks ago, the JAVA-Implementation doesn't work with any SAP GUI for Java. SAP has recommended, to still work with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and SAP GUI for Java 6.30 Revision 8.
    When will be available a working SAP GUI for Mac OS X 10.4.1 Tiger ? Has someone informations ?

    Hello all,
    I completely understand the impact of the missing Mac support. I try to explain the reason for the current situation and give an outlook.
    Starting in summer 2004, the SAPGUI development team and test labs have dedicated a significant amount of time in testing on Mac OS X 10.4 preview versions, reporting bugs and pushing Apple to fix them. We opened more than 20 bug reports, which were not exclusively related to SAP GUI, just plain JFC/Swing issues. Unfortunately two show-stoppers for SAP GUI were left at the time Apple shipped Mac OS X 10.4.
    Since April this year we are running more tests on developer preview versions of the Java 1.4.2 Release 2, which is supposed to address these issues.
    With developer preview 3, there are no severe open issues left and we are just waiting for Apple to ship the final version of JRE 1.4.2 Release 2.
    Apple has not disclosed any shipment schedules in the past and so we have not been able to plan for something. If we would have known in advance, that the final version will be that long after developer preview 3, we would have started a beta seed based on a TEA (test and evaluation agreement) at the time developer preview 3 was available (beginning of August).
    Last week Apple has indicated that the final version of Java 1.4.2 Release 2 is expected to become available every day now. I hope Apple is right and this thread will be obsolete soon. SAP GUI for Java 6.40 rev 4 including the Mac OS X version is already waiting on the loading ramp.
    If there is no final version of Java 1.4.2 Release 2 by end of September we will provide an unsupported SAPGUI based on a test and evaluation agreement.

  • SAP GUI Configuration for Mac OSX

    Hi Everyone,
    I work for the UW-Milwaukee University Alliance hosting center, and am having trouble trying to figure out how to create a server configuration file that can be easily distributed to all of our customers.
    I'm not really sure what files are necessary for the SAP GUI application to load our specific settings.  Obviously it has something to do with the "connections" file located at USER/LIBRARY/PREFERENCES/SAP.
    When I enter all of the connections manually through the "expert" settings, the connections will show up and work, but when I go to close the program and open it again, they're all gone.  The server list is still in the "connections" file though.
    If anyone has some insight as to how this application works, configuration-wise, any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    Let's separate the issues of creating appropriate configuration files and distributing the files to your Mac users.
    With respect to distributing the files:
    This is explained in the HTML documentation distributed with the JavaGui, in the "Installing Custom Templates" section of the Administration > Configuration Files page.
    After you've created "connections" and "settings" files that you want to distribute, rename them to "connections.template" and "settings.template", respectively. Then use the command
    "jar -cf ./templates.jar settings.template connections.template"
    to make a "templates.jar" file containing them. Before the JavaGui is installed, put the "templates.jar" file in the same directory as the PlatinGUI-MacOSX-710rnumber.jar file. This will produce the "connections.template" and "settings.template" in the same directory as the JavaGui application, typically "/Applications/SAP Clients/SAPGUI 7.10revnumber".
    When a user launches the JavaGui application, if he DOESN'T ALREADY HAVE "connections" and "settings" files in his <home-directory>/Library/Preferences/SAP directory, the "connections.template" and "settings.template" files will be copied to his <home-directory>/Library/Preferences/SAP directory with the names "connections" and "settings", respectively.
    With respect to creating the "connections" and "settings" files, I'm not sure why what you are doing is not working.
    Which version of the JavaGui are you using?
    I assume that after configuring the connections, you clicked the "Save" button.
    When you go to SAPGUI > Preferences > Configuration > SAP Logon is anything listed there?
    As another approach, you might want to consider using central configuration files as shown in the HTML documentation Administration > Overview on Local/Central Files page.

    Hello Sathish,
    SAP GUI for Java 7.30 is out of support from 31st of March 2015. SAP recommends to always use the latest available version of SAP GUI when installing new clients. Refer below link for more info.
    So, I would suggest you to download 7.40. You could get that from the same link.

  • Need SAP GUI for Mac and process of how to install and configure

    Hi Experts,
         I need SAP GUI for Mac. Also please explain the process of how to install, how to configure etc? Please help me.

    You can download the SAP Presentation DVD that will have the SAPGUI Java version for OS X. After you install, just run the app from the Application Folder.
    For config there are a few options:
    1. To connect to a DI directly. After starting the app, click new and under the "Advanced" tab use the following string:
       conn=/H/(hostname)/S/(port / 3200 for instance ID 00)
    2. To connect to a login group. After starting the app, open the "Preferences" / Configuration / Messageservers, you need to set a path to a file that has the message servers in the following string
    (SID) :     /M/(hostname)/S/(message server port)
    Then click "New" and on the first tab you can choose a system and login group.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank

  • Installation of SAP GUI on MAC OS 10.3.6

    Hi,
    I am using an Apple imac machine running on MAC OS 10.3.6. I have installed SAP GUI rev8 in it, but when i tried to connect the SAP Sever it failed. I have a SAP Server running on SUN Solaris Platform.Is there any configurations to be done in the server to accept request from Apple machine. Which version of JRE will GUI rev8 support.
    Please let me know how to make connection from GUI to my server.
    Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hi Saravanan,
    first there is a update of Java GUI 6.30 rev 10 for MacOS 10.3 (Panther) available or a 6.40 version for MacOS 10.4 (Tiger).
    please refere to thread:
    SAP GUI for Java 6.40 rev 4 (no longer) available
    or
    SAP GUI for Java 6.40 rev 4 is available at
    ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/java/640r4/ and
    http://service.sap.com/sapgui-java
    second:
    You have to do no special configuration to connect from a Mac.
    If you connect to the server via a JavaGUI on Linux, etc. just use the same configuration and connection string for Mac OS X.
    FYI:
    Your connection string can look something like:
    conn=/H/192.168.1.10/S/3205
    where 192.168.1.10 is the server IP adress and 3205 is the portnumber.
    For details please refere to the documentation:
    9. Technical Background -> Connection Strings
    and
    6. User Configuration
