Mac Version of Purchased Products

I have just purchased two products on line. At check out, it said the products were for Windows, but I am a Mac user. I did not see a place in the purchase process to make a selection. How do I ensure that I get the Mac version of these products?:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 & Adobe Premiere Elements 12
I have not downloded the products yet.

    Serial numbers for standalone products are platform specifc. If you are on CS6, you can do a platform swap:
    Order an Adobe product platform swap or language swap
    You will never be able to use it on both platforms that way, though. The only products that are cross-platform are Lightroom, PS ELements and of course Creative Cloud allows you to freely pick where you use it...

    I'm asking this question for a friend of mine who just received the Mac version of the Production Premium CS5 bundle. He edits using a Mac, but does his field work on a PC (predominantly using a laptop for P2 offloading). I use all PC, so I don't know how the cross-platforming works, but he was wondering if it's possible to install a Windows version of OnLocation on his laptop, or if one is even available a la carte. I know the license provides for multiple installs of OnLocation in your given platform that are separate/additional to your two given installs of the bundle, but is there even this availability for cross-platform workflows?

    Yes, you just purchase the CS6 upgrade version for Mac, enter your Mac CS6 Upgrade serial number then enter your Windows CS5 serial number.

    but i think your license is dual platform.  download the mac version and see if your serial number will activate.  if not, at least, you'll have the 30 day trial to use while waiting for your platform swap.

    If you recently purchased this then it is not likely to be a valid sale/purchase.  Adobe does not sell older versions of their products and no one but Adobe provides student/teacher licensing.  If you purchased this some time years ago and it is only recently that you find you are not able to reactivate it with the original serial number you can try contacting Adobe Support thru chat and see if they will be willing to work with you to resolve this.
