  • Apps will not update in iTunes

Recently bought new laptop w/Windows 7 (Win7 required for work.)  Downloaded/installed latest ver of iTunes to sync my iPhone 4S and iPad. I can update apps in iTunes but they will not update on devices during sync. On the device menu in iTunes I can click the Update radio button and it will change to "Will Update" but when sync is started it changes back to "Update".  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Did you copy the ENTIRE iTunes library from the old computer to the new computer?  If not, the link between the library and device is broken.

  • My mac will not update to 10.7.2?

Mac will not automatically find 10.7.2 when I ask for a software update?

Exactly what version are you running (the build number) - available by clicking on the apple and then underneath the Apple OS X (there'll be the  verions, the serial number, and the build number). Can you post that please.

  • Windows 7 64 Bit system will not update to iTunes 7 - Help please!

    Hello -
I've been trying to update my iTunes since July and have been unable to do so. I think the last time I installed a version of iTunes was in May. I've tried everything and anything I could find on the web but nothing works!
    I have a Windows 7 PC 64 bit laptop.
Everytime I try to update I get the error message "the installer encountered errors before the installation could be completed".
    I've already tried:
    - Downloading directly from apple site
    - Downloading the update only then installing
    - Made a new user account on my computer to try install
    - Uninstalled everything and started fresh
    - Disk Clean up's
    - Turned off Anti-Virus
    - Restarting computer and more...
Does anybody have any suggestions!? It's driving me crazy not being able to sync my iphone 4! I'm starting to think it's just not compatable...
PS - I am able to install older version of iTunes, but my iphone 4 is not compatable since i've upgraded to iOS6

    Hi rrfhp,
Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I understand none of the HP drivers will fully install.
I will be happy to help you.
Are you signed in as the Administrator of the computer?
I would turn off all start up programs to make sure there isn't something blocking the printer.
Click on start, in the search box type in run, enter, then type in msconfig, click OK.
    Click the Services tab.
Click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box.
Click Disable All, and then click OK.
Then click on the start up tab at the top.
    Click on disable all.
    Reboot the computer.
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus software.
Then run the installation again by right clicking on the setup and selecting run as Admininstrator.
Don't connect the USB cable until prompted.
    Try printing now.
Then go back into msconfig and enable the All Microsoft Services and enable all on the start up tab.
Turn the Antivirus software back on again.
Please let me know the results if you are still having issues.
Are you getting any error messages?
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

  • Another Podcast will not update in itunes

I am able to see and download my latest podcast if I use the "show all available episodes" function but it is not seen when the Refresh button or Update Podcast functions are used. All current episodes do appear on the itunes preview page however.
I use Libsyn as an RSS host and they claim this is an itunes 'problem' but it does not seem to effect the other casters that I follow. It could well be a 'finger' problem on my part so if there is anyone with more than my rudimentary knowledge of RSS/XML perhaps you could take a look?
My feed address is http://djdavidmyles.libsyn.com/rss and my itunes is http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/david-myles-podcast/id389699126
I have checked the feed in Feed Validator and I'm getting 2 unknown namespace messages in line one but I do not know if this would is significant with regards to the update issue??
I not that the ping address I was given recently only connects to the itunes store now, though it never seemed to help with previous episodes anyway!
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for looking in to this for me.
The more I consider this the more I am beginning to wander if it is something to do with my itunes and specifically on my Macbook Pro. Since the last 2 itunes updates there have been problems with transferring some mp3's between itunes and my iphone.
I have just checked the 'update' question on my PC and it works ok but with the same setting on my mac the problem still exists whereby as a subscriber I am not notified when a new podcast is available via the auto or manual Refresh actions, only if I right click the the podcast and use the "Show All..." facility. Both mac and pc are using itunes 10.1.2.
lets hope all my fans are using PC's...something I never thought I would advocate!

  • Mac will not update flash player, please advise

My Adobe Flash Player needs to be updated to 15.0.0.189 but the site will not allow me to download. Says 'Your antivirus software must allow you to install software.' I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5. No antivirus software installed. Checked the forums but can not find any info specific to this issue. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I don't believe that what you're experiencing is legitimate.  This sounds like an attempt to get you to install malware.  I'm thinking that you may have been tricked into downloading a fake Flash Player.  Let's throw that installer away and start again.
Download Flash Player from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
If that gives you trouble please try the alternate installer:

  • Mac will not update latest update from App Store

I have repeatedly tried to update from 10.10.2 to 10.10.3 because it is recommended through the App Store, yet every time I click update it starts to download and then just quits. I have a MacBook Pro 2012 running 10.10.2. Any advice wold be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for providing advice however, I downloaded the Combo update and ran the install package. My computer then immediately restarts and when I check to see if the install updated the to 10.10.3 it did not. I ran this same update on my imac and got a long install screen which is not happening on my Mac pro so I know its not updating. Any other advice?

  • My mac will not update the new version of iTunes. It says "the update could not be verified. It may have been corrupted during downloading." Help please!

  • Playlist will not update from Itunes to IPOD Mini

I updated my Ipod mini (v1.4) and Itunes (v6.0.1). Since that time, i cannot update a play list on my Ipod. I added a song that was on a playlist prior to the update that is in the M4P format to Ipod. It lists it under my artists but refuses to accept any updated playlists. I receive the circle symbol with the line through it. Is there a setting that has changed in itunes not allowing to change my playlists?

did you have the ipod mini connected to the computer when running a windows xp update??
if so your ipod will have to be serviced
sorry but the ipod now contains a hard drive update that isn't compatible for the ipod so if you had the ipod connected while updating windows xp you now need to get your ipod serviced
