Mac won't stram media to ipad, xbox- though it used to

My first post here!
So, I did a clean install to my macbook pro a few days ago, running Lion. All is great, apart from the fact that I'm no longer able to stream media to my xbox or my ipad. I used Connect360 to stream stuff to my xbox before and it previously worked great and I used the boxee app on the ipad and boxee manager on the mac and that was working super too. But not since I reinstalled Lion.
Same applies to the Air Play app for ipad- all looks ok, appart from the fact that my mac doesn't appear on the app.
Basically, it all looks ok on the mac but the other devices don't see it!
The only thing I thought might be wrong, was the Little Snitch application on the mac, but it doesn't look like it's blocking anything important- and I tried quitting it, but that didn't work either.
Any ideas?

That's what I thought. That's not an error on the disk. Those are just messages created by developers and can be ignored.
What I can't figure out is how you went from repairing permissions to not being able to boot passed the gray screen...
Can you boot from your install disk and check the hard disk just in case?
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger and later) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window where you see Capacity and Available. Make sure there is always 15% free disk space. Not enough disk space can cause directory corruption.
