Mac, WRT 54G, Can I access a Brother MFC9320 on two different subnets?

(home use) I have a USB server that I can access my USB printers on two different Subnets and I was wondering if I can do the same on the WRT54G. I use 192.xxx.xxx.x for internet use only and 198.xxx.xxx.x for every thing else, like file sharing, multiplayer games, etc. I just named the "Locations" to either "Internet" or "Games" (with games being used for everything else). With the USB server set to "ZerocConfig" I could access the USB printers on both. I could set the Printer up with a static IP Printer "Location" and then switch locations every time we wanted to print to it but I would like to save a step. It's not that big a deal for me but, having to "Remind" everyone else every time they wanted to print something on it, would get old. Don't want to hook the Brother up to the USB server if I have wireless. It's not the smallest thing in the world to find a place for it anyway.
I guess my other question would be, having the other subnet, is it more secure (from the internet) using it that way or is it just in my mind. I actually have the the family put their computers on a third "Blank" Location (no IP #) when they are just playing games, homework, etc.

I'm guessing the reason i CAN use the USB printers on both subnets is because of the Keyspan USB server, which is hooked to the router, using it's own version of DHCP, (ZeroConfig)? I guess "ZeroConfig" is an open source type configuration. I use a subnet of 192.xxx.xxx.xxx for Internet browsing and I can print with the USB printers, and I use a subnet of 198.xx.xxx.x for everything else and I can still print from the USB printers with out changing anything else. It uses it's own IP numbers on ZeroConfig I guess and when the server is set to DHCP it uses the routers IP instead as then i can't print on the other subnet.
I guess it's not possible on the router to do it. That's what I was wondering, thanks.....

ePrint account information is kept at the site. You can log on it from anywhere, from any computer. Just go to the sire and click on Sign in and enter your password and email address. You can have multiple printers on one user account at ePrint Center (EPC). But printers can only be registered on ePrint Center to one user account. HP Smart Print does not require an account you can download to an Internet Explorere browser (versions 6-9) and use it with no registration.

Mac mini server - Can't access Internet

Hello. Using a Mac mini server as the media server for my house. Not really using any of the Snow Leopard Server services though. Wanted the larger hard drive and didn't need an optical drive so this was perfect for me. At any rate, recently noticed that the Mac mini can't access the Internet. It talks to the other Macs and Apple TVs in the house fine but it can't load a web page. I looked at the preferences and everything and can't see anything wrong. Plus, all my other computers get on the web fine. Any ideas? Is there a specific setting I should check? Thanks in advance.

Switching to Mac from WinXP - Can't access files of PC's secondary user

This part works:
To move files by connecting your Mac to your PC on the same network:
Make sure that both computers are turned on and connected to the Internet.
In the Finder on your Mac, choose Connect to Server from the Go menu to open the window.
Type your PC's network address in the Server Address text box using this format: smb://ServerName/ShareName, or select the name of your PC in this window (if it appears).
Click Connect.
Enter your PC's workgroup name, your user name, and your password when prompted, then select the volume or folder you wish to access.
Your PC volume should appear on your Mac Desktop.
Open the volume and drag and drop files directly from it to anywhere on your Mac.
But, once I get here, there are certain files I can't see. I want to start by migrating my photos. They reside in a subfolder of my wife's documents. She is a secondary user. As far as i can tell, i have all the sharing rights granted. Please help.

You will need to log into your wife's account in order to access any files stored in her user account. You can then move them to the /Users/Shared/ folder where you can then access them from your account.

Home with multiple user/screen name Mac. ATV can only access the library of the person using the computer? Seems like a HUGH flaw??

We have a Mac that is set up to allow multiple users with their own log in and settings. (imagine a family of four). So if my wife sits down at the Mac to work. Then I can't access my iTunes library though the apple tv because my screen name and iTunes has to be shut down!! Seems like a huge oversight in the device?! Is there a way around this? Seems like it makes the apple TV nearly useless unless for a multiple person household.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You don't need to shut down your user account for your wife or anyone else to use their user account.
If it isn't already set, go to system preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options and check 'Show fast user switching'. Then from the top RH corner of the menu bar you can switch between users at will.
Keeping a user account logged in should enable its iTunes library on the Apple TV.
(Note, I've never tried this with non admin accounts)

Mac Time Machine - Can't Access Backup

Successfully connected Canvio Home and installed all software. I have run several Time Machine Back-Ups. When I look in Finder I see the Canvio, can navigate to other folders on the Canvio, can copy files to/from the Canvio from Finder, but cannot access or view the folder where the Time Machine backup should be (CLNAS-BACKUP, where CLNAS is what I renamed the Canvio to).
When I try to connect to CLNAS-BACKUP I get a "connection failed" message. But when I try to click on the "Connect As" button to connect as a different user - the login dialog box does not display. I am able to disconnect and reconnect to the public folders on the drive. and I've tried ejecting and reconnecting to the drive - no change.
Not sure if this is a Mavericks issue or a Toshiba issue. Really hoping for the former, as I have tried three other network drives and none have successfully completed a back-up - Toshiba was the first. But not much use if I can't access the backup

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

If you are using IMAP mail connection (IMAP keeps the mail on the server), then you just configure the other computer's mail client to access the same account.
If you are using a POP mail connection, then the mail is generally downloaded to your Mac and deleted from the server. That is a much more difficult problem to solve. NOTE: Google's gmail does have a POP option that does NOT delete the mail on the server, so it is accessible via the gmail web page.
A lot depends on what you are using for your mail service and whether you are using IMAP or POP protocols.

Not unless the iTunes library is on your parent's local network.
If it is, then configure iTunes and AppleTV to use the same Home Sharing Credentials, and set up Photos to Share under the iTunes Advanced tab.

If the Computor you are on has iTunes library go to tunes as if u were going to buy a song or film and you can log into your account. At the bottom of the iTunes home page you should see the user that is logged on usually a email address. Click on it to log them out and enter your own apple I'd and password. You can then update whatever you want and log back out after

You may be able to change the suspicious account activity message alerts
in your Gmail settings, and check that side of it, since I can use several
means of accessing my Gmail and Google Accounts; and in the past had
shared an account (not google) with another party half a world away when
her email server went down for a month.
The Mail software should not know the difference, unless the setup in there
is not correct; if this is so, then more than what she says would be wrong.

I have developed one J2EE application and still the updation is going on. So i wanted to to deploy the application in two different oc4j containers. so that one will be having the working version of my application and the users can use that application. I want to use the second container as my test application, in that i can modify and test. The deployment of my application in two different containers went fine. But when i try to access the web application with the context, it is serving from the latest deployment for my request.
My question is :
1) Can i use both applications with different Oracle HTTP server port numbers??
2) All the HTTP requests are passed to the oc4j containers by AJP13 protocol through AJP port to the OC4J containers. where is the mapping between the OHS and AJP protocol defined ??? ie., the requests from this http port have to be transferred by AJP protocol through AJP port to this OC4J container ???
3) Or i have to have two different installations of Oracle9iAS ???

actually, that is not correct. It can be wiped and disassociated; it is any OS or app obtained at the app store which is tethered to the Apple ID used to obtain it, not the hardware. See the SLA.
If a device was tethered forever, it could never be re-sold - obviously.
As for the OP's question: I am not sure as I could not find any reference in the legal documents available, but I believe it is not possible - one Apple ID = one account.

How can I get the program to recognize two different types of thermocouples?

I am using a PCI-4351 card with a TBX-68T terminal block. I was having trouble writing and finding a program that would give me more than one reading/sec. I found a program on the NI website called "435x_logger_triggering", and so far it is the only program that I have found that will actually collect data at 60 Hz. Unfortunately, this program only lets you specify one mode for your thermocouples. This is a problem because we are using two thermocouples, one is type K and the other is a type R, so we get bad readings from one of the thermocouples depending on which mode it is set on. I would like to know how I can program in a seperate mode for each channel in this program. Un
fortunately, some of the sub VI's in this program are password protected, so I don't know if this is possible. Everything is entered correctly in the Measurement and Automation explorer, so that isn't the problem. I will attach a copy of the program that I am using. I have modified it slightly from the one I got off the NI website, so that the thermocouple readings have a time stamp and are saved to disk. Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to sample two different thermocouples in the example that ships with the 435x driver called "Getting Started with multiple tranducers Continous". Simply put each type of thermocouple in a different index . Each index of the Transducer Group Array can have a different type and specify the channels that correspond to that type.
One way that you can speed this VI up is to place a wait inside of the while loop. This will reduce the number of times the software polls the card if it has available data(increasing the overhead). I would suggest about 500 ms. The data that you receive will all have the same delta t because the sampling clock is hardware driven not software, so it does matter when the data is polled.
You will not be
able to get 60 samples per second when you are measuring multiple channels anyway. The sample rate for multiple channels is about 9/(# channels). This is explained in the 435x Users Manual.
I looked at your code and noticed that you tried to change some of the enumeration controls. Unfortunately you will not be able to change these because they are password protected on the low level subVIs, which is where they are defined.
The way you select if you want the notch filter is in the 435x Config you specify fast or slow. If it is slow then it will select 10Hz as the nitch filter. If you select fast the it will select either 50 or 60Hz You would then use the function "435x Set power line frequency"
